In my ... moreopinion. I am selling the matching gentleman's dresser, or highboy, separately. Both pieces have been refinished, but missing veneer work was not done, so, as you can see in pics 4& 8 there is slight edge veneer loss at the front side corners. In pic 5 you can barely see that the veneer has been re-glued. There are a few nicks here and there, and there are hardware circles around a couple of the drawer pulls, where the handles have been rotated and made a circle in the wood around. The hardware, as well as the design, makes this piece much more eye catching, with steel pulls and horizontal rosewood tips on each pull. This piece measures 54" x 32" x 18" deep. There are 6 drawers. Shipping will be done via freight or local pick up. If you live near Orlando(32804)I can deliver for free. If you live outside of Orlando please message me for a fuel charge. Refinished and color matched so you can see how gorgeous the beautiful walnut veneers are that have been chosen by the craftsman in the 1920s. On the front it has a diamond point inlaid banner across the top right underneath the bevel edge top, four carved column posts with spindles that adorn each post and goes down into an Acanthus carved front leg. It has four front legs and four back legs that are connected with cross stretchers to make it tight and sturdy. The sideboard is a stunning walnut amber color that brings out the grains and a gorgeous look to the entire piece. It has two picture frame molded panel doors that open to reveal plenty of storage. On the left hand door there is a pull out tray for silverware. The right hand side is wide open for anything you desire such as serving dishes or liqueur bottles. In the middle are two large deep dish molded drawers with a molded front and a fantastic burl walnut face. If you look at the pictures you can see the doors are also selected with beautiful walnut.
