The chair frame is a little loose. Not bad but with that said a very useable and very comfortable piece! The back has deep tufting and the seat cushion I believe to be feather filled. The finish is like a light walnut, the chair has wonderful carving and the style is just fabulous! Measures 43" tall, 30" wide and about 36" in depth. Wonderful Vintage Victor Victrola One of the first electric Victrolas Serial number and notice underneath indicates that it was made in 1925 Great piece of history. Good working order. Comes with 20 or so records. Good condition, the front has some slight scratches on wood and the felt plate that you put the record on has some marks that needs some TLC, But otherwise in really great shape. See some info below from the web: The Credenza(also called the 8-1) was the most expensive of the first four Orthophonic Victrola models, officially introduced to the public in November 1925. It featured the largest horn that Victrola had ever offered, and was frequently used to demonstrate the amazing quality of Orthophonic reproduction. A large and elegant cabinet gave this model an impressive appearance. Approximately ... more50 to 100 were produced in the late summer of 1925 which used an"8-1" not Credenza) tag. These were likely used as dealer demonstrators, to introduce the retailers and distributors to the new product. Pre-production examples can be readily identified by the very red stained cabinets(top left) which are finished in the traditional Victrola shellac and varnish method. Carvings are also slightly different from the production versions. After it was officially introduced, the Credenza name was used on the dataplate. Production versions were available in mahogany or walnut veneers, with a blended stain and(new to Victor) lacquer finish. The strong reddish hue of the pre-production models was replaced with a more subdued brown shade. The Credenza included an automatic brake and gold plated hardware. This is a very nice credenza that has been in our office for some time. Last year we closed our steel shop and now we are closing our office for good due to the economy's effect on the small construction business owner. The credenza is cherry wood faced. The credenza has six drawers-two small top drawers. Two larger middle drawers(each looks like two drawers but is one) and two medium sized drawers on the bottom. There are two doors in the center, a large space with a built in, sturdy shelf. This is a large piece-65 3/4" wide, 29" high and 19" deep. The base has scratches that can be touched up easily. There is a slight scratch on one door and a bigger one on the other door which can also be touched up with wood stain or a crayon. Beautiful Danish modern teak china cabinet and credenza. Made in Denmark bu Christian Linneberg. Top piece has 4 teak and glass doors with magnetic closers. 10 glass shelves along with 4 bottom wood shelves. The top 2 glass shelves in each section have a light bulb behind a teak wood panel at the back of the shelf. Bottom piece has 4 teak doors. Overall the condition of this buffet is in very good with some slight character marks. Nicks, slight discolorations, showing it's 50+ years of life. Also there are lines on the far end of each side of the buffet from sanding where the wood grain is no longer present. We decided not to stain the cabinet and go with a natural finish to accentuate the beautiful, subtle wood grain.
