Globe Wernicke, Cinncinatti, Catalog No. 3317 B-9; Finish 279 1/2" It's about 36" tall and in great shape. It comes apart into 4 pieces(plus drawers and rods) and is very heavy. The frame and drawer fronts are oak wood and the inner drawers are made of metal that is an olive green color. The rods on all of these drawers don't match completely. One set is all of a pewter colored hexagon shaped knob and the second set has random rods in both(3)brass and(12)another metal in the pewter color family. A bit of an eclectic mixture to be sure. For sale we have an antique oak card catalog by the Hamilton Manufacturing Company of Wisconsin. The card catalog features 45 drawers. 5 columns and 9 rows. Almost every single drawer has the original pull with the exception of 2 drawers. Almost all of the drawers still open as well with the exception of two of them. They seem to just be stuck and may need some wax applied to the sides. It appears to have been used at one point as storage for hardware and miscellaneous pieces. Antique Single Bureau Library Card Catalog Solid Wood Description This is an antique single bureau card catalog. It is very heavy. Made of heavy, solid woods. There are 7 drawers that have the cupped metal drawer pulls. The drawers are dovetailed. Five of the drawers have metal card catalog inserts; 2 of the drawers have very old wood inserts. One of the drawers has duck tape taped over the slit in the bottom but the other drawers do not. The exterior walls are nailed together and from age and swelling they are not flush. It may be home-made. It measures 41" tall x 12" wide x 22 1/2" deep and weighs 80 lbs. Texas Buyers Please Note: I sell through my business. Vintage Library Card Catalog with 9 drawers
This is an original classic. A 9 drawer library card catalog unit. Used for a distinct set of special collection cartds. I have no known date, though one of the drawer inserts lists patents from 1892 through 1903. But I can't tell you when it was made or when it was purchased. This is an almost perfect size example of the gone and disappearing library card catalog. It can be used as a decorative piece, or for many types of storage. All it takes is imagination. All the drawers are present, as are most of the drawer inserts. Overall it's in good condition, but could stand a refurbishing. Dimensions are: 19.5L x 13.5W x 13H. Vintage Wood Mid-century Library Card Catalog Remington office system cabinets
Great vintage 1950s-1960s Midcentury library card catalog made by Remington Rand-Library Division. Cabinet is in nice condition with some expected scrapes. Nicks, scratches, etc-but overall VERY NICE. All the pulls and card holders are present, including the interior adjustable clips for holding index cards. The center drawer pull is a little different than the others not sure if it is supposed to be like that, check out picture 2. Measures about 41x33x17" Top is removable for use with other stackable sections. Drawers pull in and out flawlessly with no rubbing or tightness. The back has small veneer chip, it shown in the last picture but does not affect performance or aesthetic. The top looks like someone put tape on the top at one point in time light marks left from it.

I'm not sure if it's a steelmaster it is not marked, but it may be missing, not sure. Both drawers have metal handles with a place to insert a label. The cabinet is in good used condition, it has many scratches on the top, some scratches on front and sides, may have a ding here or there, and on one side has a flaw a little rust spot and or oxidation, see pictures.
