This is an outstanding Evette-Schaeffer Master model Bb clarinet made by Buffet-Crampon. It is stamped Made In France. This clarinet has a polycylindrical bore and is made on African blackwood. I believe Buffet clarinets are the best in the world. They are played by some of the top clarinetists in the world. This clarinet plays great and has good tone and true intonation. These were introduced shortly after Marty Tolchin took over the Buffet company around 1975. It has the Evette-Schaeffer logo and Buffet-Crampon stamped just below. This was done to make more Buffet made clarinets available to more dealers. The same serial number is stamped on both the top and bottom sections. Antique Art Deco Buffet This is a gorgeous. Antique piece of furniture. It could be called by many names and serve a variety of purposes: hutch, bar, sideboard, buffet, credenza, server or china cabinet. Whatever you call it, it is a lovely piece of furniture. The previous owner stated that she acquired this from Europe, specifically England. The only marking is"220" in chalk on the back. The buffet appears to be composed of tiger oak. With a medium-tone finish. The wood features carved ornamentation of fruit and foliage, a motif very popular during the Art Nouveau period from 1910-1930. The surface of the buffet has a marble top that is red in color with gray veining. There is a beveled mirror on the recessed portion of the top section of the buffet. The doors of the buffet have beautiful brass pulls and working locks. We have ... morethe original key, which operates all of the locks. The doors have a unique brass hinge design which allows them to be removed without the use of a tool. The top center door is glass. The final feature, which is also my favorite, are the curved feet that support the body of the buffet. The buffet has the following dimensions: Height: 78 5/8" Width: 54" Depth: 18" Specifics: Height to top of base(top of marble surface) 41 1/2" Interior of bottom section: 53 1/2" wide by 33 1/4" tall by 15" deep Interior of the top section: 50" wide by 17" tall by 11" deep Interior of the center drawer: 20 7/8" wide by 14 1/4" deep by 4 1/4" tall, The top section of the buffet is easily removed. It will be removed for safe packaging and shipping. This is in great. Antique condition overall with some general signs of age and use. Some of the red veins in the marble top have been filled with a color matched substance to level the surface of the marble. There are a couple of spots where this filling has come loose. Jimmy Buffet Lot! SHIRTS + SANDALS AND MORE!
This lot consists of: 1- pair of Jimmy Buffet Lager flip flops mens size 8(if I recall) I bought them down in New Orleans when visiting as an emergency back up due to my other flops breaking! LOL) I honestly only wore them one night while in NOLA. After I got home I washed them very thoroughly even though I wasn't able to get off whatever stains are on the bottom. 2- Large/Extra Large Tee Shirts- One features a"Jamaican" Stamp and an airplane and on the back of it it shows two birds hanging out in a hammock feeding the fish. The other shirt is a bright rose pink color that says"MARGARITAVILLE" that was embroidered into the shirt. There is no back logo on this top. Also in this lot there are two books: Where is Joe Merchant? and A Salty Piece Of Land(NO CD included. Both books were given to me but their conditions are ... moreexcellent! There are no tears. Rips, or stains. The flip flops were only wore twice: I did scrubbed very hard to rid the bottom of the flop of the dirt/grim. I didn't want to use any cleaners for fear of it harming the material. The two shirts both have alterations done to them. 1) The white one has a V cut from the neck area. 2) The pink top has both sleeves(what looks to be cut w/scissors? The white top has a few tiny painting stains on it but not enough to where you wouldn't be able to wear it. Although when taking the photos of this shirt I did NOT notice how the shirt has a cream color on the white fabric(or maybe the it's white on cream? So I don't know if this is a stain or just part of the top. Both books are in amazing condition save for the 1 book does NOT have the CD that is to be included. Antique Arts & Crafts Mission Oak Buffet Sideboard With Mirror and Hidden Drawer
Up for auction is a very nice Antique Mission Oak Arts& Crafts Sideboard/Buffet. It is solid oak- very sturdy and very heavy. The mirror/shelf can be detached and it can be used as a server without the mirror if you like. It is in great shape for furniture of this age but it does have some rings on the surface(see 3rd photo- the picture makes them look worse than they are- nothing a quick surface refinishing wouldn't fix) I guestimate this is around 100 years old. It has all original hardware. Mirror, and a key as seen in the photos. Up for bid is an Evette by Buffet Clarinet made in France and its original case. Included are two reeds. A music mount, the keys to the case, a cleaning brush, some cork ease, and a bottle of bore oil. I had it checked out by a tech at the local music store and he lubed the corks and said it appeared complete, functional, and well taken care of. Based on the serial number C4924 I believe it was from the 50's or 60's but would be open to correction if anyone can provide any other information. I am selling this unit as is, no returns. Inc. is an Art Deco chromium plated electric food warmer with 3 Pyrex bean pots. Forman made two versions of this server in the 1930’s; one with 3 Hall china bean pots and this one with the Pyrex inserts that is even harder to find. The large server has a heating element incased in the bottom and when filled with water keeps your food warm. It has two butterscotch Bakelite handles and sits on 3 round black feet. Made from oak wood with hand dove tailed accents, carved outer doors and marquetry in the center. The upper drawers have a unique lever style locking mechanism that can be seen in the photos. This piece was made in the 1860's-70's. It originally had a back-splash that rested on the back of the marble, but it is long gone.
