37" BROYHILL BRASILIA MID-CENTURY MODERN CREDENZA BUFFET/HUTCH/CHINA CABINET
This IS one of the most desired pieces of mid-century modern designs that is very HOT right now. Broyhill is the furniture maker and it is called the Brasilia line. The Brasilia line was first featured at the Seattle World's Fair in 1962. The lines and waves of Brasilia furniture were inspired by the distinct architecture of the City of Brasilia which is the Capital of Brazil and feature clean lines and simple. Modern design. Great for a small kitchen. Dining room, or apartment. Two separate pieces. Top piece is the china cabinet with two drawers underneath(one for silverware with dividers that can be taken out) Bottom piece is a little deeper and has cabinet doors. The shelves have plate holder indents so that you can display your china in the back of the cabinet. We inherited too much mid-century modern furniture as we got my parents' ... morefurniture AND they had my grandparents' Danish modern, Scandinavian furniture. This china cabinet is in GREAT condition considering it is over 50 years old with original solid brass hardware, glass, and lined silverware drawers. Measurements: Total height is 70 3/4" Top half with 2 drawers is 37" wide x 12 3/4" deep x 44 3/4 tall. Bottom cabinet is 37" wide x 17" deep x 26" high. GUESSING HIGH ON THE WEIGHT OF 150 LBS. I took as many pictures as possible(after I oiled the wood) and also took pictures of some minor concerns with the cabinet as I do not want someone driving a long distance and not knowing about them ahead of time. The top of the bottom cabinet has been scratched from someone sliding the top cabinet. Not deep though and you have to look closely to see them. Looking at the cabinet. There is a piece of laminate 1/2" x 1/2" that is chipped at the bottom left hand side on the front(same pic with the scratched top) and on the right back side, there is a chip about 1/2" out of the wood that can easily be filled in with filler. I picked this up at a local Florida estate sale. My husband likes musical instruments. And I thought he'd might like to try the clarinet. Oops, I was wrong! So am passing it along to a more appreciative person! I'll do my best to describe it although I am by no means an expert. This Clarinet is an Evette model"Sponsored by Buffet" and made in Paris.France. The body of the clarinet is wooden, with what I think are nickel silver keys. It fits together tightly, and is not cracked. The cork gaskets and pads on the keys are old looking to me, but seem to be holding up. It is my understanding that these can be replaced if necessary. Included are a new set of Buffet reeds, and music holder marked"Depose France" and a little square of very old chamois. The clarinet's serial number B8443. I thought that this might give ... moreme a clue to the clarinet's age. But after doing some reading on line, I gave up. Its previous owner told me it was from the 1930s, but other EBAY sellers seem to date similar looking models to about 1950. Please take a close look at the photos to decide if its age and condition is satisfactory to you. The carrying case is in pretty decent condition for its age. The handle is missing a little leather. But it is still strong. There is no key to the locks. The metal could use polishing. The velvet lining is tight but smells a little musty. The name"Potts" is written very faintly by the handle. Please ask your questions in advance of bidding as I am unable to accept returns. The clarinet will weigh about 7 pounds packed with its case. I'll do my best to ship it economically. Serial number(27622) indicates it was manufactured in 1924-1925. I have personally never played the horn, but I purchased it from a reputable dealer a couple of years ago who indicated it was in playing condition. Needs thin cork on neck for mouthpiece. H orn is missing an upper key where the rod is bare. And the hole is covered by an soldered cover(see photo) Does not have a mouthpiece. Ligature, reeds, lyre, etc. Please look at the photos carefully for condition, but the horn is 90 years old and still looks great. For Sale: Vintage Evette Schaeffer Bb clarinet made by Buffet Crampon. Paris, France Serial number 151682. Good Condition. The K Series began around 1953 during the Golden Age of Buffet musical instruments when Paul Evette and Ernst Schaeffer owned the company. According to the Buffet website. The Evette Schaeffer clarinet is almost identical to to the famed professional R-13. The only discernible differences are in the right hand pinky keys. There is also rumor that slightly flawed wood was saved for making the Evette Schaeffer model. Still identical to the R-13 in it's polycylindrical bore and undercut tone holes on the bottom joint. A far superior model to the modern E-13 which retails for over $1800.

Here is a Crampon Buffet& Cie E11 wood clarinet that is in all around excellent condition. The keys have a little pitting but the pads are in great shape. One of the corks is a little beat up but still airtight. Clarinet is in ready to play condition. Pics were taken out in the sun and did not come out as good as I had hoped. Clarinet looks much better in person. No breaks. Cracks or repairs of anykind.

It has a serial number of B4446, I am no expert on instruments but this one looks to be in excellent condition with all the cork pristine possibly redone also all the pads are very soft and clean which leads me to believe it was redone. It was purchased from an estate and that is all the history I know. The case I do not believe to be original and the short section that the mouth piece goes into has a surface crack but is not all the way through and looks to have been there a long time. And last the mouth piece is a Vandoren 2RV in excellent condition with no teeth marks. If you have any questions please don't wait till the last minute.

VINTAGE BUFFET Bb CLARINET with WRAP AROUND REGISTER KEY and UNUSUAL RING KEY!
This is a vintage Buffet Crampon Bb clarinet distributed years ago by Carl Fischer in New York. It has the unusual wrap around register key and an unusual left hand ring key mechanism. Only one small crack is observed however the instrument has been in storage a long time and it is possible one could have closed. There are chips in the center tenon and a chip on the bell. These should not effect playability but could be filled for cosmetic purposes. They can be seen in the pictures provided. I have heard these older models were popular with the early jazz players because of their brilliant sound. It would also make a nice collectible instrument to display in a studio. There is no case or mouthpiece included. It is offered as is with no reserve. Sale is final.

Buffet R13 Bb clarinet from the 1960s. See video demo. Photo album, and description below: if you don't see it above if you don't see the slideshow above This Buffet R13 clarinet is in good playing condition. As you can see from the video demo. According to the musician who play-tested it in the video, it plays with a big sound with more"color" to the sound than modern R13s. The bore at the top of the top joint measures 0.585" so it is not one of the small-bore models that are said to be less desirable. The silver plating on the keys looks good, there are no visible cracks, and there is some wear as you would expect from its age but not excessive wear on the tone holes. The barrel measures about 60mm which is shorter than usual but works great with this horn. The serial numbers on the top and bottom joint are two digits ... moreapart from each other. The ring on the bell is a bit loose, as is common with Buffets old and new, and all other rings seem snug. This clarinet comes in a case and includes a mouthpiece and ligature. Here's a good deal for the advancing player or the pro in need of a practice horn. You'll have fun with this pre-owned Buffet Crampon Evette wood clarinet. Made In France. The serial number is D12571. Its stamps read"Paris Evette France Made By Buffet Crampon. Well made, it has; nice action, mouthpiece, good wood and scratches from normal wear. The connection points on the tenons are sharp. It doesn't have a case and the bell has three cracks(see pic) As I understand it. This clarinet is comparable to the current Buffet E-11. Me? I'm not a music store/repairman. Buy accordingly. Looking for instruments and getting them into the hands of players is a hobby of mine. Buffet E13 Bb Wooden Clarinet, Advanced and Semi- Professional - Nice Condition
Matching Serial Numbers K88825. Clarinet was cleaned. All dirt and grime flushed out. The wood was oiled with almond oil. Cork pads were installed prior to my receiving the instrument. I changed the rest of the pads with all new double bladder pads, so it is essentially repadded. The wood is good with no cracks. Tenons are great. Key plating is nice overall. Keys move freely. Clarinet was adjusted, and it plays very very well- a real nice Buffet. Mouthpiece is M13 possibly Vandoren with a ligature, reeds cork grease a swab and 2 Buffet barrels.
