This casserole is in the"Blue Cornflower" pattern. The dish is approximately 7" square(9" long including handles) 3 1/2" high(without lid or stand) with no chips. Stains or cracks. The chrome trivet has rusting around the candlewarmer area. The candlewarmer has been used. There may be some slight wax residue. This retired pattern is no longer in production and has been forever discontinued.

This very special piece. Which dates from the 1890s, is part of an estate collection. It’s decorated with gracefully carved ribbon and bow motifs, with three framed, beveled mirrors. It has its original delicately detailed hardware and beautiful golden finish. While this buffet is grand and has plenty of storage room. It’s compact enough to fit nicely in a relatively small space. It measures 19 ¾” deep by 43 ½”wide by 78 ¾” high. Similar pieces with much less interesting carvings sell for $2,000 or more. Vintage Vogue Needlecraft 3 Piece Buffet Set No. 2012 Size 13 x 42 Part Linen
One of the smaller scarves has been completed and the large one has been started. I have embroidered all my life and I can't do this good!This is cutwork embroidery which uses a blanket stitch for a nice edge that can be cut away without unraveling the fabric behind it. There is a stain on the scarf that hasn't been started- I don't know if it would wash out or not. The two smaller scarves are 11 1/2 inches by 9 inches and the larger is 11 1/2 inches by 20 inches.

Gorgeous Antique French shabby chic sideboard, buffet cabinet in Annie Sloan
Absolutely gorgeous antique French? Shabby chic, country sideboard or buffet cabinet made of oak. A real gem& stunning. There is one large drawer with 2 knobs, which has a removable inset to divide the drawer into 2 sections. There appear to have been one or two further insets which are no longer there. The cupboard has 2 shelves.I have painted the exterior(excluding back) and the interior of the doors in 3 coats of Annie Sloan Old White chalk paint& then tastefully distressed it to highlight the beautiful carvings& to give it a shabby chic look. It has then been given a good coat of Annie Sloan clear wax to preserve it for many years to come.I have left the back in it's original condition(please see pictures to see raised splits which do not affect the solid craftsmanship) to maintain the history of the item. The inside of ... morethe large drawer& 2 shelves have also been untouched. The thick oak shelves are lovely& have been beautifully made. The sideboard is a work of craftsmanship with beautiful carved features to the drawer inside& outside of the door panels, the front legs, the bottom plinth& the side panels.The doors close(the left one having an old spring claw-like catch) but have no key or handles. They open without the need of handles& both doors stay closed once shut. For auction here is a lovely example of a 19th century antique walnut buffet sideboard used in dining rooms and large kitchens for storing and displaying your china. As you can see it has a lovely patination. Quality fielded and carved panels along with nicely balustraded shelves, the drawers are fully oak lined. The top of the sideboard has opened up a little( see photo) due to shrinkage commensurate with a piece of furniture of this age but does not affect its function. I am not sure if this is Edwardian or much later from the 1950's or 1960's, I suspect the latter. It has a serpentine front and top shape& is supported on six slender legs. Four at the front, two at the back. The top is cross-banded and has tramline edging. It has inlaid detailing around the top and the cupboard and drawer fronts. The sideboard consists of two central drawers flanked on either side by a single-door cupboard. Each with a removable wooden shelf inside.
