There is what looks like one tight crack on the shorter valved piece on the small barrel side on the underside away from the valves and valve holes. I shined a light inside and I do not see a crack on the inside. Also I do not think the small barrel end removes. Length without the mouthpiece is only 16 1/4" 18 3/4" with mouthpiece. Mouthpiece looks to be wood and looks very usable to me. Bell is 2 5/8" diameter. Some valves that stick some and some weak springs but looks very rebuildable. Up for sale is this beautiful antique oriental black lacquer side table. It comes from a wealthy Conn estate. It is a large piece that has 2 glass doors on the side with 2 shelves in each cabinet. There is also a locking front cabinet that is complete with key. The middle part opens up to reveal a red plastic area thta can be used for mixing drinks. The painting has a moriage effect and has oriental scenes that are in very good condition. It measures 72" x 18" in the middle and 16" on the sides. Overall it is in very good condition although there is some wear to areas of the black lacquer. I have it listed for local pick up but shipping arrangements can be made if so desired. This is a Great Vintage Cooker from OSTER. It is a Controlled Heat Buffet Cooker/ Server in the popular 1970s Avocado Green. Tested and working fine. The enamel coating has no dent or dings. And was obviously well cared for. The inner non-stick coating has no gouges and seems perfectly ok. This aluminum piece is 9.5" wide and 3.5" deep. It is 10" tall overall with the lid. This even includes the Original Instruction& Care Manual that also has recipes included. This piece looks to have been seldom used and in wonderful shape. The first pan hold the water and sits on the heat controlled base. Then the pan with the 6" handle sets inside with it's lid to keep your food warm without sticking or scorching. Great for Buffets. Buffet S1/R13 Bb Clarinet ..Overhauled and Ready! ..read desrciption under pics!
Buffet Paris s1/r13 Bb Clarinet era 1972 Thanks all for viewing! Up for sale is a very nice Buffet S1 Bb clarinet. Body and wood is in beautiful condition; with one but that I'll explain further) Keys and bright work are gleaming! What was done- All keys were removed. Dipped, cleaned and hand polished, including post. All new articulation corks/felts were added using natural high grade cork. Teflon was used on higher friction areas. Installed were all new double bladder pads save for the 3 cork pads strategically placed in the upper joint. Rods and pivot screws were stripped and cleaned also with a bit of swedging on a few keys for better fit. Mechanism then oiled with Hetmans synthetic key oil before the lengthy regulate and adjust procedure. Yeah.you would like to know about the"buts" mentioned earlier. The buts- Looking at ... morethe left register key post you'll find some wood" checking" raised around the post area. Surface separation is seen in this small area of which by no means goes through the wood or into the bore. It's an unfortunate manufacturing wood flaw that has no issue on playability or function. Under the#2" on the lower joint serial number you'll noticed a nick. Otherwise the wood is free of damage. Cracks or dings! My take on things! These S1's have been fine examples of pro Buffets every time they leave my work bench. I can't say that for all R13's of any era as some end up being complete dogs no matter how much work you do to them. You shall do your own S1 research if needed; the S1 was designed to bring back traits of the traditional R13 as not all players were happy with the way the R13 was going. So in essence. The S1 is more of the original R13 design than it's other R13 counterparts if you get my drift! I tried it with an assortment of mouthpieces and rigs including a Vandoren 5RV Lyre. This wonderful vintage art deco style buffet server is app. 11.5 x 21.5 inches. It is marked inside for the Chase Brass and Copper Company. Nice quality. It is very heavy and sturdy. The metal looks like chrome. The handles are some type of resin. May be bakelite. The bottom gets filled with hot water and the stoneware inserts are perfect to hold the heat in the foods. Buffet Crampon Evette & Schaeffer C Chedeville Blank Mouthpiece - NICE!!
Up for your consideration is a 1960s Evette& Schaeffer Chedeville Blank mouthpiece that is in great condition for it's age. These are often referred to as"3 lines down. 1 line up" Chedeville blank mouthpieces. There is the C marking which stands for C facing. Made in France is also engraved on the side. This is a medium close mouthpiece. It has a nice sound and works well with 2.5 and 3.0 reeds. It is made from high quality hard rubber. Chedeville supplied Buffet Crampon with blanks. Buffet refaced blanks and these were marked Buffet Crampon. To my understanding Buffet's Evette& Schaeffer mouthpiece blanks were not refaced. This is why many mouthpiece artisans like these Evette& Schaeffer mouthpieces for customizing or refacing. The table. Rails, tip and beak are in great condition. As you can see in pictures ... morethe logs are still in great condition and still very visable. There are slight marks above the words Evette& Schaeffer on the front, but this section has no impact on the acoustics or performance of the mouthpiece. However all other areas are in superb condition. This mouthpiece has never been refaced. Cork height is still great and should fit your barrel. However, I will include a new strip of cork for future use or should you want to refit to your need. The mouthpiece has some very very slight cosmetic issues such as light scuffs in the ligature area from removal. It is not perfect like a new one, but 10 being perfect/new. I rate the condition of this mouthpice 9.9 or 9.8. Functionally& acoustically in excellent condition. and great for someone wanting to enhance their mouthpiece collection or experiment with style of playing at a very low cost. While not scarce, it is not easy to find these mouthpieces in very good condition. I do offer a return policy of 14 days. Here's a fabulous vintage retro upcycled mid century modern dresser or buffet. Restyled by me. This is a Fashion Trend made by Johnson-Carper Furniture Co. This beauty has great lines and timeless design in walnut with veneers. Very Danish Modern with the bentwood drawer fronts and tapered legs. When I found this. The top and drawer fronts were too shabby to salvage- so I gave them a re-do in glossy bright white paint with a lightly pebbled texture. The rest of the dresser was cleaned inside& out and finished off with a coat of wax, which brings out the nice grain patterns. This is a solid and well made piece. The 9 drawers slide smoothly. It has a few dings and light scratches. Like most vintage furniture, but nothing too glaringly obvious.
