Antique Embroidered Long and Short Table Runners
Very Old table linens. One long table runner and one short table runner.The small runner is 9 1/2 inches by 10 1/2 inches and the large one is 15 1/2 inches by 40 inches The cloth is fine old linen and is in very good condition with no holes or tears but two very small spots on the short runner. The embroidery is extremely beautiful and came from a highly skilled embroiderer. You will not see finer stitches anywhere. There are large numbers of French knots which give the flowerbasket texture and depth. The colors are bright and very pleasing. It is edged with very tiny crochet which is also remarkable for its small, perfect stitches.

I recently discovered this wardrobe trunk buried ... morein the rafters in the attic of a local farm house estate in a in nearby town. It stopped me dead in tracks and I had to literally pick my jaw up off the floor! There was no way I was leaving without this trunk. And lucky for me I had hubby to carry it out of the attic and down 3 flits of stairs! And now for the decription… This is a nice authentic period Wardrobe steamer trunk. It is signed on the exterior by the maker Oshkosh Trunk Company. I am unsure of the exact age. But it was clearly left where I had found it for a very very long time. If I had to guestimate I would say it is likely from the early 20 th century. It measures 40 x 22 x 20 inches and weighs 75 pounds respectfully. The exterior is covered with what appears to be a volcanized material with dozens of original brass. Nails, knobs Hinges, Lock and hardware. The lock comes with key and functions as designed. On the interior right side. The trunk has 5 wood drawers with original deco drawer pulls and covered in swanky antique fabric. Here is a beautiful and very unusual antique arts& crafts Library lamp CIRCA 1905~10. it was built by hand and is a one of a kind lamp built to the rare and hard to find Prairie style. The size is 24 wide x 14 deep x 18.5 tall. It is completely rewired and ready to use. I found this lamp without the shade and I liked how it was built so much I decided to have a very high quality shade made for it. the glass shade was made by Roycroft Master Artisan Peggy Eisensmith of East Aurora N. Vintage figural metal cigarette table lighter in the shape of a 1913 Chevrolet touring car. This novelty lighter was made in Occupied Japan in the late 1940's-early'50's and is in very good shape. The antique auto replica is cast in a bronze finished spelter metal with sharp detail all around. The lighter mechanism in located in the back of the car and lifts out of its cradle for refueling. Right now it is empty of fuel and needs a new flint to spark. Antique Oak Metamorphic Monks Chair/Table w/Spindle Arms/Carved Lion Head w/Eyes
We are delighted to offer to the market this stunning Monk's chair/metamorphic chair table. This piece dates to the early 1900's. We do not know the maker and any tage were long ago removed. Made from solid oak. This chair is a piece of art as well as a functional conversation piece. The back of the chair slides upward and flat across the arms to transform this piece into a functional table. The diameter across the top of the table is 36" It has a height of 29" The back side of the table which serves as the chair back has finely detailed carving representing a gothic lion head. The face has finely detailed teeth and whiskers. The inset eyes are made from glass and they glow when the light hits them just right. Quite a fascinating design. The ornate carved and scrolled arms have spindles flanking a heavy center pieces. The ... morefront of the chair has turned columns leading down to the seat frame box. Below the frame there is a section section boasting turned legs and straight mission style stretchers. The legs sit on the original brass casters. The arms have a height of 28" to the top of the scrolled area. The chair has a width of 22 7/16" from the outside edges of the arms and 18.5" from the inside edges of the arms. The depth at the center front to the back at the table is 23.75" The seat height is 15" to the wood edge and 20" to the top of the cushion. The cushion is not original to this piece and it is clear that someone did a poor recovery on it. There is some light soiling to the fabric and it is overhanging in some areas. The chair base has some very light surface scratches that are age and use appropriate. The table top also has some light scratches and divets from age and use. Overall the piece is in great condition and is absolutely stunning to look at. This is a previously owned item and it is being sold as shown. This is an antique heavy table that has been in the family for years. My dad refinished this beautiful round oak table years ago. The table is 29" tall and 23 1/2" round. The bottom shelf is 13" from the floor. The top of the table has a design etched in the wood. This would make a nice foyer. Side table or lamp table. Hi. This is a beautiful ornate large Victorian 5 arm candelabra. Amazing craftsmanship with small flower detail throughout. It is all one piece except for the 4 petal candle holders that fit in the top(missing one) It has the same petal design underneath the candle area. This was an elegant piece and was used often judging from the amount of polishing that has been done. There is no rust but the Quadruple silver plate finish is very worn as I have tried to show in the photos. Still a wonderful piece of history. It stands 16 inches high and 11 inches across the arms. Beautiful Vintage - Antique Estate Fresh Lace Table Runner 31" x 15"
This beautiful Table Runner measures about 31" long and 15" wide. It came out of a very exceptional Washington D.C. Estate. I do not know too much about Lace and Doilies. But the to me is a very exceptionally made piece. It has a light discoloration to it but seems in excellent condition otherwise.
