I have included a lot of pictures because this sample book is in rough condition. It is VERY OLD& it's dirty! I have not attempted to clean it whatsoever. I will leave that up to the buyer. I think that the samples themselves could be cleaned up quite nicely with an upholstery cleaner. The metal binding& the staples that affix the little tags to each sample are rusty. Therefore there are rust marks/stains on the fabric throughout the book. Condition of samples: there are some rough spots, stains, and some of the outer stitching is coming apart on a few. The upper left of the black part that reads"Slumber Chair Cover Samples" is not there. Limbert, or another comparable maker from the very early 1900's. All solid quarter sawn tiger oak throughout. No breaks or repairs. Nice original finish with only normal light surface wear. There is one pull missing on the bottom drawer. Measurements are 58" long. 57-1/4" tall to the top of the mirror, 43" height to the counter top, and 22-1/2" deep. These measurements include the 1-3/4" height of the removable wooden foot casters. Icanthus leaves and other carvings including column front legs ... moreand rush bottom seats, imported through Edinburgh, Scotland and in a Henry II style, these most probably were manufactured there in Scotland or perhaps England in the early to mid-twentieth century. I have noted in my description of condition above that one of the rush bottom seats on this set is broken through, and simply replaced at present with a wood board underneath the seat cushion. I have taken this into account and am selling these chairs"as is" for a great price for someone looking to invest a little love into bringing them back to their full glory by replacing the seat(s) These side dining chairs stand 37 1/2 inches tall and measure 17 1/2 inches wide by 17 inches front to back.
