Both pieces have been refinished, but missing veneer work was not done, so, as you can see in pics 4& 8 there is slight edge veneer loss at the front side corners. In pic 5 you can barely see that the veneer has been re-glued. There are a few nicks here and there, and there are hardware circles around a couple of the drawer pulls, where the handles have been rotated and made a circle in the wood around. The hardware, as well as the design, makes this piece much more eye catching, with steel pulls and horizontal rosewood tips on each pull. This piece measures 54" x 32" x 18" deep. I am unsure of its age of the dresser, but it bears the label inside one of the top drawers of Landstrom Furniture Corporation, Rockford Illinois. I am unsure of the type of wood that the dresser is made from, but I would guess mahogany.

I am unsure of the exact age or manufacture of the piece, but I do know that was originally contructed between 1900 and 1920. Up forauction this Antique Salesman Sample Dresser. This was purchased at an auctionand they represented it as such. It could possibly be doll furniture butjudging by the size. Design, granite top and the intricate wood work we don’tthink it is, either way it’s a great piece. We couldn’t find any marks sodating it is difficult but it looks early. This piece is carved and designed likean Eastlake piece and could possibly be an Eastlake salesman sample. Input inthis area is welcome. It has a great granite top with red, grey and white veinsrunning through it, a very unique feature that we haven’t seen very often. Thedrawer faces are carved as well. They’re lined in pink velvet and the cutelittle knobs look to be porcelain. I have shown in the pictures where it wasrepaired at some point but they did a very nice job and it’s not very noticeableat ... moreall. It’s very sturdy and well built. We only vacuumed out the drawers andcleaned the mirror otherwise it’s completely as found dust and all. It measures20 ¾” x 10” wide x 5 ½” deep. The top is 10 ½” x 6” x 5/16” thick. The dresser is 47 1/2 inches tall 35 1/2 inches wide 17 7/8 Inches deep I cleaned it up a bit as you can see. the veneer on the bottom started to peel. But has been re-glued. This is a gorgeous solid black walnut with burl walnut applied trim Victorian age drop center dresser with a white and gray grain marble ... moretop that dates from the 1880s. It came in on a recent load. And was very clean. Someone probably refinished it a long time ago, and all we did was tighten it up, scuff it down and re-spray it to remove all the nicks and dings. It has a great look, a dark walnut stain finish, white and gray grain marble tops in really nice condition with minor stains and no cracks. It also has hand-cut dovetail drawers, big burl walnut panels on the front, and carved medallions in the center. It also has the old teardrop dresser knobs of ebony. The top of the dresser has what looks like the original mirror, along with the original candle shelves that was used to hold the oil lamps while gazing at your reflection. It also has all original carving and decoration on the back, and the top of the carved crest, the applied cutout carved trim, button medallions, applied burl panels and clamshell carved crest on top, all intact. It’s all ready to go in your home. It measures 44 inches wide, 17 inches deep, cabinet base is 32 inches up to the marble, 79 inches to the top of the mirror crest. for sale is a very nice serpentine quartersawn oak dresser with an intricate cut beveled mirror housed within its frame. to cut that mirror today with the bevel would cost a minimum of 800.00. at any rate this is a wonderful solid dresser with no issues to report other than the mirror is a bit smokey and has lost a wee bit of silver. it has great carving with much detail. the top is solid quartersawn oak of the highest quality. hardware is all original. the casters are new. the top is serpentine as well as the front. it is 50 inches wide at it widest point. 24 inches deep at the widest point. it is 82 inches tall being 36.5 inches to the top surface of the dresser. it has a claw type foot. i managed to dig this out of an upstairs bedroom set. i have included a few pictures of the bed. Beautifully Engraved in a Floral Pattern with a Sterling Silver hallmark on each piece: Sterling 925 R(lion) They were carefully made in Toronto. Ontario Canada by Roden Bros Ltd. Then Birks later acquired this firm in the 1950's. The hand mirror measures approx. 12-1/2" long; the hair brush is 10" long; the other brush is 7" long; the comb is 8" long and clippers are 4.5" long. These are used. But in good condition. There is some light typical wear, as to be expected with a 75 year old dresser set. The box has some cosmetic issues(faded drawer linings, bottom drawer ring is mishapen) but all in all not too bad. The brush and the mirror both have cracks on both handles that have been repaired. Up for auction is a finely crafted antique/ vintage Neoclassical Revival jewelry casket which I believe to be of French origin with gilt bronze ormolu encasing a beveled glass lid and a one piece curved side panel. The lid of this well detailed jewelery casket is further adorned with an ormolu mount of two birds. Laurel leafs and a torch while the cushioned interior is lined in a rich red velvet. It’s just over 1 3/4" tall and about 4" across at the base. this is a very rare antique early 1800's hand made and carved wooden dresser/ vanity box made in France by Fonferrier-Gratius*Meubles-Brest. it is a large box for this style box and beautiful ornate detailing throughout. there are art deco like styled stars running around the box and have a great negative space which reveals the red lining. and also has a large"star" on the top. the piece is footed with stunning ball-feet. it is also hand engraved with wonderful floral detailing throughout with deeply cut trim work. the lid opens on the top and opens and closes on brass hinges in the back. the lining is a great red linen. In pretty good shape especially for age, does have some ware. the box has a nice patina from age and in great shape for age. Beautiful gold colored accents with etched flower and stem design. This piece would be a great addition to any collection. Really nice relief on the gold. Condition is very good. The bottom of the jar has 2 chips on the rim and the lid also has 2 chips on the lower rim. They are very small and hardly noticable but clearly pictured below. Pleased to offer: antique 1880s Scent Casket 3 glass perfume bottle fitted box vanity dresser This scent casket measures about 5-1/4 inches tall. 6-1/2 inches long, and 3 inches deep. The latch is marked, Patent Aug 13, 1878. Contains three glass bottles that have a matching etched pattern. This perfume box has seen better days. The leather covering is pealing up in places and is missing around the top. One rear leg is missing the ball foot, the beveled glass window has a chip, and each of the three bottles have chips too(1st- large chip on rim and looks like other chip ground/polished out. 2nd- chips on the points of the shoulder. 3rd- small chip on the shoulder. It could still find a good home in someone's collection.

This is an antique embroidered dressser or table runner featuring deer fawns on each end. It measures approx. 13"x 38 1/2" The linen has thinned. But still has a slight crispness to it. There are 2 or 3 holes(as pictured) and 1 area of the edging has unravelled.
