The ... morestyle is from the 1830- 1840 period and that's when I believe this was made. There is a signature written in ink on the underside of the top. But it is very difficult to decipher(see photo below) I think the small circular inset in the table top might be a deliberate example of the maker's skill rather than a later repair, but it could be to"mend" a flaw in the wood I guess. There are several closed age related cracks to the top surface and some light scratches commensurate with its age, also a small black indentation, but they are not disfiguring and show in the photographs. With table tilted height is approx 8.70 inches, with table top flat, height is approx 5 inches and diameter is approx 7 inches. Overseas buyers are welcome with postage at cost but please wait for an invoice as the postage quoted in the listing is for UK delivery. Sorry but I am not willing to post to Italy at this time. Superb Edwardian Sterling Silver Relief Decorated Dining Table Crumb Brush from London dated 1906 This Delightful Antique Dining Table Crumb B rush measures approximately 7 inches or 178 mm in total length from the top of the handle to the end of the bristles. It is 2 1/8 inches or 54 mm across the width or diameter of the lower body from side to side and the silver body is 3 3/8 inches or 87 mm in length from the top of the handle to the lower edge of the body. The brush is made from long bristles that are fitted into a wooden back block and it has a delightfully shaped sterling silver handle on a shaped upper body that has been wonderfully embossed or raised relief and engrave decorated with scrolls. Swags, flowers and foliage, the table brush has Not been engraved with a previous owners initials all as photographed below and the upper ... morebody has been impressed on its rim with a full set of English sterling silver hallmarks that read as follows, W.C- Lion Passant- Leopard Head- l W.C is the famous London silversmith or makers mark of William Comyns& Sons. The Lion Passant is the mark of English 925 standard sterling silver, the Leopard Head is the mark of the London assay office and the letter l is the date letter for 1906. The condition is used and near Mint for its age. The Crumb Brush has No Dents. No Splits, No Cracks, No Holes and No Repairs that I can find, the bristles on the brush are in excellent condition, the brush body is straight, the decoration is very crisp, the silver hallmarks are still clearly legible although as this crumb brush is a used antique it does have some extremely minor surface wear from use along with the patina of age that is to be expected and a gentle clean would enhance it greatly. Personally I think that this antique dining table crumb brush can still be used today and that it would make a superb addition to any collection, I also think that it looks absolutely fantastic considering that it's almost 110 years old. Antique Hoosier Style Expandable Dining Table with 4 Chairs- Needs Restoration
For sale I have this antique Hoosier style dining room set from the early 1900s. It has been passed down through the family many times but now in storage. Overall it's in good restorable condition. With lovely decorative painted color accents, all in a medium brown finish. It does have a few condition issues but could immediately be used if desired. It measures approximately 51 inches long on top by 35 in. across. It however when all wood leafs are in place be expanded to 73 inches in length. The finish is flaking away in places but the design work remains. All the screws in the table could use tightening and it does have a few cracks here and there but as as I said before it is usable. It is missing one of the wood support decorations. One of the chairs has tape on it and a crack on it and is a little rickety. I believe it is made of ... moreoak? Antique Style Dining Table in The French or Italian Look.
This is a very nice marquetry top round dining table with 2 center leafs. I would say it was made in Italy circa 1950. It sits on french style legs with brass to the top pf the legs and also the feet. There is a skirt round the table and also to the leafs. It would seat 4 people round 6 with one leaf and 8 with the 2 leafs in. There are extra support with legs coming down once you have the leafs in. Measurements are 43 round and each leaf is 20 inches. So fully extended it would be 83 long and 43 wide.

Dowelled and pegged tenons(these are all signs of good quality) The table sits on four tapered and pegged legs. The table features a detachable extending leaf, which is handy for dinner parties. The tabletop and base are original. The tabletop features a superb colour and grain configuration. The table seat between 10– 12 people and is sufficiently tall enough to fit your legs underneath and is sufficiently wide to accommodate serving dishes in the centre of the table. Beautiful round table measures 41" across. It opens and can be made bigger with leafs. I do not have the leafs. But you can easily have them made or purchase them. I have had as many as 8 people dine at this table, but i believe without a leaf it is ideal for 6. In good overall condition considering its age. In the center where the table comes apart there is a small gap on one end like it does not close all the way and on the base there are a couple of areas where the top veneer is messing and the wood underneath can be seen. This double pedestal table dates to 1960's England. It is made of mahogany with satinwood string inlay and rests on two pedestals with brass feet and casters. Two additional leaves come with the table. Allowing this table to expand from 7ft in length without leaves to 10ft with both leaves; its depth measures 39.5" The mahogany looks beautiful but has sustained some minor scuffs and wear to the finish(all normal for a piece of this age) which I will touch up to the best condition possible before final sale. This one-of-a-kind set of a gorgeous mahogany dining table and 8 chairs that my great-grandfather had commissioned in the early 1930's. The table stands on 2 pedestals. Each with w/3 brass clawed feet. With the help of 2 leaves(included) the table expands to 12 feet in length! It is in EXCELLENT condition. The chairs are as follows: There are 8 chairs total. 6 regular and 2 for the head/foot of the table and they have arms. They are 100% hand made from the strongest mahogany, I've been sitting on these chairs for as long as I can remember(about 35 years) and they don't even creak! Notice the intricate carving on the tops of all the chair backs, it's unbelievable! This set should not be passed on. It's a beautiful, original design and you will not find anything like it, anywhere!

The actual date of the furniture is believed to be 1920's- 1930's. The current owners state that this was originally purchased from a very rich family in Cincinnati. OH. The table is 30" high. 34" wide, and 58" long without the leaves extended. It has 2 end self-storing leaves- each leaf being 19" Hence, with one leaf extended is ... more7" and with both extended is 96" or 8 feet long. The four side chairs are 16-1/2" wide and 16-1/2" deep. While the two larger end chairs are 22-1/4" wide by 18-1/2" deep. All have upholstered seats. The server/buffet is 33" high. 37" long and 18" deep. It contains storage compartments. The glass fronted china cabinet is 57-1/2' high. 37" wide, and 15" deep. Below the display area is a storage drawer for tablecloths, etc. The chairs and table have"787" and Russmore stamped.assume this is the model number and pattern name. The set was manufactured by the Grand Rapids Chair company of Grand Rapids. Michigan. That company was founded in 1872 and primarily produced chairs until 1880. After that date they then began to produced complete sets and"ash" was their popular wood with carved panels and heavier moldings. This is a fabulous antique Victorian mahogany dining table. Originating in England. The top is oval in shape, with a double moulded edge, and the carved and turned legs have castors. The table comes with two extension leaves- the photographs show it with one of the leaves inserted- and it has a wind-out mechanism. There is no handle for this, but it can be easily wound out with a wrench. This table has been well used by our family over the years. Both in England and America, and before that, it was used as a conference table in a well known factory(now closed) in the North of England. The table top has been re-finished in the past, but because it has continued to be used and loved on a daily basis, there are some signs of surface wear commensurate with age, but structurally, it is in excellent condition. There are beautiful hand notched/carved accents. The pedestal column is adorned with carved and gilded, French stars in raised relief. The table rests on three, low profile legs which are finished with incredibly detailed, large scale, lion paw/claw feet. The feet have precisely carved and realistic details. The table top is 48" round, with bent wood that has been hand notched to fit together. It is decorated with a dental style, notched/carved band on the lower section. The decorative border is also gilded. There is a long attachment screw fitted under the center section of the table top which threads into a receptacle in the pedestal to secure ... moreit. Each of the sturdy chairs has a beautiful lyre back; there are 2 chairs with arms and 4 matching chairs without arms. Seat covers show some minor stains; seats may be easily reupholstered. The table is expandable with leaves. Table pads for the entire length of the table will be included if desired; pads have some staining but can be used under a tablecloth. Table leg supports are beautiful large wood lyres. The china cabinet has a wonderful curved glass door in the middle. The matching buffet has a serpentine front; lots of storage. Circa 1800s, made from solid oak with three leaves and Victorian decoration. Without the leaves the table is square as can be seen in the photos. It was purchased in the mid-1980s and was totally restored at the time. It is in very good condition. The leaves have their own wooden case. The table sits beautifully. An exceptional piece of furniture which would look outstanding in the right setting. This auction includes two(what I believe are) North Wind(Northwind) oak chairs from the same period. These rare pieces of furniture have also been called Gargoyle and Demon chairs. This style was popular during the late Victorian era(1870-1900) The North Wind face. The chairs are in good condition, for their age, other than some minor wear on the edge of the carving and some discoloration on the leather seats.
