Unique antique stand up American Walnut drafting desk. I purchased this desk 30 years ago and now no longer have a place for it. It came out of a beer brewery in Cincinnati Ohio. I estimate it to be over 130 years old. I was told it was 100 years old when I bought it. It is perfect for a stand up desk or for drafting blueprints. I also have a wooden screw stool which is correct height and can be purchased separately( stool is not an antique) Top does not lift but three drawers pull out. The whole top lifts off leg stand and held in place by balance and wooden pins.Two small nicks in surface which do not show on photo. Buyer will arrange for moving and pay all moving costs.In storage so cannot measure but about 5 foot wide and 3.5 foot deep.

Antique Empire Desk Description: Drop-down front. With two secret drawers, miniature columns on the inside to match the outside. Five inside drawers and four outside drawers. Finished with very ornate brass fittings on columns and drawers. The top drawer fitting does not match the bottom two. White marble top, not the orginal but has been there for 100 years. It is finished in a matched mahogany veneer. When the desk surface was refinished at some time it was done poorly and varnish drips come down the whole front of the cabinet. Up for bid is a very nice Antique School Desk. This is a small one only 24 inches tall and is in excellent condition. It comes with the original ink well cover which is extremely rare! There is a lot of markings on the cast iron frame which include"Grand Rapids Mich. Pat. Sep 22, 1885" 5" 5 or 6R" Due to it's size I took the desk apart so shipping could be affordable. Only 6 screws took this desk completely apart so it will be very simple to put back together. While taking it apart the seat separated at one of the seams. I glued it back together and it shouldn't be an issue. If you just want the cast iron frames I can ship just them for you at a lower cost. Offered today for your consideration! A very important American Victorian mechanical desk/ games table. A very rare find made by the Brushke Furniture Co. In Chicago. A one of a kind survivor this piece is both a parlor or games table the is convertible to a writing desk. The top swings up and the desk portion emerges for the center of the piece as if by magic! Tis is Victorian ingenuity! The piece is carved with faces in the renaissance revival style and is made from beautiful tiger oak. The center desk portion lifts and descends by a gear and cable mechanism. This is one of the most unusual pieces of American Victorian and we are thrilled to offer it! Note the ornately carved legs and figures at the center which hide the desk and mechanisms. It was made in Chicago circa 1860 to 1880. There is a very light stamp bearing the name Brushke ... moreon the inside of the lift up drawer lid that is visible when the desk is open. The piece is very solid and in over all good condition and would be as usable today as it was 150 years ago. There is an age crack at the top of the letter compartment that pops up. The wood that comprises this appears to be slighter wood. Perhaps Douglas Fir. Tis is great opportunity to acquire an heirloom quality piece of American Victoriana. This is a Rare Antique Vintage Johnson Chair Co.Chicago USA 20th Century Office Desk Chair. I have not seen another chair like it with it's cane seat. The cane seating material needs to be replaced. Also. There are replacement wheels, but I will be replacing these with the original rubber type that came with this chair. This ergonomic and comfortable swivel armchair is in very good condition and has adjustable height and tilt. Crafted of solid walnut about 1930. Antique English Oak Secretary Desk Barley Twist
Unique. Beautiful, dark oak secretary desk made in England. I am not a professional; this piece is from my home. The gentleman I bought it from told me it was English, made about 1910-20. This piece is sturdy; 78" x 37 1/2" x 17 1/2" at the deepest desk portion. The top attaches to the desk with two screws and therefore can be dismantled for transit. Barley twist design on all four legs. I don't see any name of maker on wood. The lock to the drop-down desk door is marked"English Made" and"USA 2232/12 PAT EVER" Glass is original and wavy. Not chipped, cracked, or broken or missing. Glass door design features mission styling. Inside of glass top there are 3 moveable shelves and sawtooth wood shelf hangers up to the top 4" or so and the bottom 4" or so to hang the shelves. Has original bolt latch ... moreon the bottom of left glass door that bolts into the bottom of the cabinet. Comes with a key that locks the glass doors. But the key doesn't seem to move the desk lock, though it does fit into it. Drop-down desk door has bead design and wood appliqué on the front. Hinges have seen repairs from earlier damage but the desktop/door functions fine. Two wood support bars for the drop-down door extend automatically when door is opened. Cabinet hardware is original except the drawer pulls are replacements(the original pulls were attached by a single screw) The drawers slide very well for a piece this age. Have dovetail joinery, are sturdy and don't wiggle. Look the photos over carefully. We're happy to answer questions about this unique and attractive piece and will send more photos of a particular area. This heavy piece needs to be picked up or shipping arranged by the buyer. Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome. You are looking at a vintage 1960's Shure Brothers 55 SW microphone in working condition. This particular mic had the black foam screen which had completely fallen apart so I took liberties to professional reinstall 4 new foam liners that look amazing and sure to last longer than the original foam it came with. This microphone comes with the 1960's era Shure Brothers 32A painted aluminum desk stand(Made in Parsippany. NY) that's in incredible condition and gives the microphone a bold modern look. The stand has all the original hardware as well. The 55 SW was first introduced in 1962 and gave users the ability for the first time ever to turn the mic on or off via a switch located on the handle of the mic. This mic also has the multi impedence switch for low. Med, or high impedence. I should ... morestate also that this particular mic has been thoroughly tested and cleaned. It has a fairly weak signal of around 50% but is still clear with no unwanted feedback. This would make a far better display mic than one to use on stage. The joint mechanism holds strong and the threads(mic stand/ cable) are perfect. The satin chrome finish is far above average with a bare minimum of imperfections as seen in the pictures provided. There are no engraving. Bent or broken ribs on this mic. Overall a very nice older 55 and solid. no loose parts or rattles. This is a perfect package deal to display in your home. Office or studio and draw attention anywhere it sits. A cable is not included but can be for just a few dollars more if needed? As with all my vintage microphones. A unique addition to this circa 1860s lap desk is a print on the inside of the fold down writing surface titled, Counsels for Ladies. Didnt even need but I gave it a light dusting. A little oil in the droor bearings, Lithium grease in the sliding top and it functions like it was new. No binding at all. Bottom has adjustable screw in/out feet for leveling. Top slides in both directions and can be pulled out and removed if desired. Antique Vintage All Wood School Desk Chair Top Child Industrial Machine Age
This is an all wood antique child's chair top. It is in good condition. A few of the curved backing pieces need a little glue and a vice overnight to tighten them up to the top backrest. The piece is solid other than that. This is very old. Strong wood which has some gorgeous curvature to it. The bottom of the chair which is sat on is about 14.5" deep. The back of the chair is about 15 10/16" tall.

Antique Leather Inlay Desk-Maddox Original (Refurbished)
This is a Maddox Manufacturing Leather In-lay Desk that was in distressed condition when I bought it. I have spent many hours trying to recondition the wood and bring back the piece to an elegant and more modern look. I replaced the damaged leather top and replaced with a black leather and paired it with a cherry stain that gave it back its period elegance with todays colors. I did recondition the hardware and it turned out very nice. It is a brass plated metal that it in good condition. Considering what they looked like when I got the desk. I did the best I could but it isn't perfect, slight imperfections on the leather desk top cut(pictured) but overall has tremendous character. It does have a Maddox Metal Manufacturing plate on the rear of the center desk drawer and also part of the Manufacturers original Sticker on bottom of the drawer. ... moreI have included pictures of these plus some before and after photos. RARE 5 PIECE ANTIQUE NIPPON PORCELAIN DESK SET HAND PAINTED & GREEN M W/WREATH
NIPPON PARTIAL DESK SET This is the set that is so elaborant and intriguing to me. It is desk set which is pictured in plate 2833 of the fourth series of"The Collector's Encyclopedia Of Nippon Porcelain" by Joan Van Patten. I do not have the complete set. I have the ink well with insert but no lid. The pen tray, the rocker blotter, the divided stamp box with lid,and a trinket box but no lid.I have felt and examined each piece and can find no cracks, chips, etc. I've tried to take pictures so that you can see all pieces inside and out. The mark on the bottoms is Hand Painted in green with a green M below it and a green NIPPON below the M. Oh, also if you look inside the stamp box and on the inside of the stamp box lid there is what looks like a small number 2 painted in gold. This set comes from a smoke free home.

YOU ARE BIDDING ON: an Ansonia Porcelain Dresser or Desk clock probably from the late 1800s. The case is approximately 6" x 6" x 2.5" CASE is generally in very good condition. I believe it says"Made in Germany" on the stamp printed on the back. The case has the look of a piece that would have been imported from Germany but I cannot verify this. On the back of the case there are numbers 2547 with the letters OK stamped into the case. Inside the case there are 3454 written and fired into the case. On the back there is a small very old paper stamp that I cannot read. There is the usual crazing expected on the porcelain of this age. On the front beginning at the center of the hole for the movement to the right front foot on the case there is a hairline crack. Near the foot of the case at the right foot there is a small ... more1/8" chip that I needed to look carefully to even find. I have tried to show this in the images so please view them. MOVEMENT is wound tight and seems to want to run. But will not continue. MOVEMENT MUST BE CONSIDERED NOT WORKING AND IN NEED OF REPAIR AND/OR CLEANING. DIAL is paper. With the following printed"Manufactured by the Ansonia Clock Co New York United States of America" There is also a lightly printed stamp in center of dial that says"Trade Mark" with an" A. The crystal that covers the hands and dial is a beveled glass. PROVENIENCE: This clock came from the collection of Gillie the clock and watch repairman. Who had a shop in Piqua, Ohio up to the late 1960s. His shop would remind you of what a watch and clock repair shop in the Twilight Zone should have looked like. T he desk measures 52" high x 34" width x 21" depth. This is Italian workmanship from the old days that can not be found in modern times. CUPID measuring 9" height and 6" at the widest part attached to the top that covers the compartment where the clock sits. Very good aged condition. CLOCK T he clock has 3 different hand designs and incased in bronze? solid brass. The face is a natural cream ivory? porcelain with black Roman numerals. The face is aged with some hairlines but the numerals are bold without any color loss. The clock has 2 front legs and a weighted bronze pendulum that you can view from the photo.
