A drawer in the center and two solid wood doors on the bottom with one shelf. It measures 70 1/2" tall, 32 1/4" wide and 13" deep, including handles. I've tried to give you photos of all aspects, including inside, so please examine carefully. This 1950s cabinet is in excellent condition with no cracks, missing pieces or broken glass in the doors. This little antique/vintage childs china cabinet was given to me approx. 43 years ago by an elderly lady that told me it was hers when she was a child. If true this would date back in the early 1900's. It is approx. 22 1/4" tall. 16" wide and 7 1/2" front to back. Wooden with glass windows in the doors. Doors are approx. 7" wide x 13 7/8" tall with a 4 7/8" x 11 1/2" glass insert. Small drawer below doors is approx. 2 7/8" deep. The flowers on the top and drawer look to be decaled, not sure if this is original or added later. Hinges have been repaired with nails and the one hinge is just barely hanging on. Paint is worn and the piece is dirty and needs a good cleaning and some TLC, as this was stored in her attic of a 4 story historic home. Offered for auction are three pieces of antique furniture that have been in my family for at least eighty years. If they could talk. They would tell wonderful stories of memories of life in Tennessee. They are all skillfully constructed, solid wood, heavy, and structurally sound. Appraised by a licensed antique dealer within the past month at over $4000 for the three pieces. This large buffet/sideboard measures 72 inches in length. 22 inches in width, and 38 inches in height, and appears to be oak. There are sections on either end with doors and three drawers in the center. The ornate scroll detail work on the doors match that on the china cabinet. There are a few minor blemishes from normal use. It would make a beautiful addition to any dining room. The matching china cabinet is 67 inches tall. 18 inches deep, and 42 inches wide. The top ... moresection in the cabinet has three wooden shelves and locks with a skeleton key(which I have) The bottom section has one drawer which would work well for linens. The ornate scroll work as shown on the buffet is repeated but. In this case, it is cut out to enhance the detail. This is one single piece and does not separate as with china cabinets made more recently. Again. There are a few blemishes from normal use. The last piece is a sideboard/ breakfront of a darker finish but. Once again, solid wood, heavy, and structurally sound. It measures 62 inches tall. 47 inches wide, and 22 inches deep. Top section has a mirror inlay. The bottom section features two small locking drawers. One wide locking drawer(all with ring drawer pulls) and a bottom section concealed by two locking doors. I have the skeleton key for these locks as well. There are more blemishes on this piece(as seen in the second picture) from normal use than the other two. It was well used and enjoyed. The entire piece of furniture is delicately covered with floral and leaf inlay of fruit and elm woods. The sides of the piece display an urn with lion head handles. Flower& leaves, a bird and butterfly. Upon close inspection you can see the non decorated areas of the piece are very beautiful and full of character. Antique American Curved Glass Carved Tiger Oak China Cabinet c.1870
Excellent condition; additional photos available upon request. Glass is original. And original casters(not shown) are included. Purchased in St. Louis. Missouri, by Mrs. Elizabeth Frazee of Belleview, Kentucky. According to family lore, her husband Dr. A. D. Frazee gave money to the Christian church, and Mrs. Frazee responded to his philanthropic habit by spending comparable sums on fine furnishings. After Dr. Frazee died in 1875, the family moved to Columbia, Missouri, where the cabinet passed into the possession of Elizabeth's daughter Mary Frazee Russell. In 1901, Mary and her husband Walter moved to Deming, New Mexico, believing the climate would improve her health. Five years later, Mary died and Walter moved the family to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, building a cabin of hand-hewn logs. When the cabin was ready, Walter sent to New Mexico ... morefor the cabinet and other furnishings, which were shipped to Idaho by wagon and rail, finally crossing Lake Coeur d'Alene by steamboat. The cabinet then passed to Mary and Walter's daughter Julia Russell, who would marry Oliver Libby in 1930. In 1969, Julia gave the cabinet to Howard Libby, her son and only child. Howard, a Baptist pastor, moved the cabinet to his family's home in Wilsonville, Oregon, then on to Sweet Home, Oregon, Tualatin, Oregon, and Keizer, Oregon. Here is an old piece. I was told this was from the early 1900's. It is a Heavy bulk piece with the curved front glass and it does have a latch on the front. But not a lock. It is in good shape but does show some age to it. It is mahogany in color. It is approx 59" tall, 17" deep and 49" wide. It is a very heavy piece, the wood shelves inside are also curved. I am not a furniture expert so please ask any specific questions you may have.
