The original furniture label identifies it as"Maple& Beech" see photo#5) 18" deep X 14" wide X 28" high. Has two open shelves and one small drawer that opens easily and smoothly. The drawer has dovetailed construction and a cool-looking metal pull. The interior sides and bottom of the drawer are a different type of wood than the rest of the piece- see last picture. This is a solid durable piece of furniture in excellent vintage condition. The wood has normal color variations and small flaws typical of a vintage piece. There are a few small dark drips on one side- as shown in second photo- which could be removed with light sanding or scraping if they will be visible when the piece is in use. Antique- Vintage Small 14" x 11-3/4" x 7-5/8" PRIMITIVE Wooden 3 DRAWER CABINET or CHEST for storage and display. The useable space inside each drawer is 3-1/4" tall x 9" wide x 5" This sturdy. Cabinet is in good primitive condition, with wear and several repairs. The drawers are sturdy and well made. And they open without sticking. This primitive chest needs a new home with someone who understands that a few scars and repairs just give you more character! CONDITION: The top of the chest has a visible repair on both edges. The top left edge has a fairly clean repair. But the repair on the top right edge is more obvious because there is a small chunk of wood missing. This repair does not ... morelook the best, but the top of the cabinet is not loose. Wood shrinkage caused a small split on one side. At the bottom edge, as shown below. The split is stable, and it will not be a problem. There is some thin white paint spatter in the same area. The finish has some wear, and there are some nicks, dings and scratches. The drawers are very sturdy and well made, but they have a few old stains inside. The drawer pulls are securely attached, and problem free. NO ODOR. I do beleive it is a Cushman. It does have a 3 digit number stamp. It is very hard to read but I think it is marked#50? H.T. Cushman manufactturing Company of Bennington Vermont opened in 1892. They made a line of Smokers in 1920's. This is in very good to great condition especially for it's age. It does have a few cracks here and there but none are to bad. I bought it at a antique store. It was really dirty. I polished it with Old English Dark and I did spray paint the build in ash tray, cigerette holder and match box holder. I painted them a Hammered Antiqued Brass. Antique Walnut Sewing Cabinet Chest This auction is for an antique/vintage sewing chest cabinet. It stands 27" tall. 19" X 9" wide. It is in very good original condition but does have some scratches. View all the pictures for details. There are no major cracks. One of the drawers has a chipped edge(which you can only see if you pull it all the way out) Both drawers slide in and out very easily. It stands solid on four braced legs. The handle at the top is well attached. The original pulls are tarnished and need to be polished. There is also some very light paint flicks(hard to see) where it looks like someone was rolling on paint in a room and it spattered a little on the chest. Cannot find any maker marks. The top is 2 boards that have coved trim. the one board and trim(drawer front of cabinet) can be lifted off. Has the original wavy glass front doors with McLesson& Robbins on one door and Pills and Granules on the other. Paint is still in great condition overall with slight paint ware. The cabinet measures about 51" x 44" x5 1/2" This can either be displayed on the floor or hung on the wall. Wooden shelves are easily adjustable. I confess. I don't know a whole lot about this piece. I found it an an old flea market in the middle of the Missouri Ozarks. I have researched and researched it have only discovered the following info. The design is called Gold Leaf Lacquer. It has beautiful motifs of white roses and birds. I believe it is what was called a"Shoe Cabinet" or a"Foyer Cabinet" and was naturally intended for storing shoes in. I can't find any artist or designer marks. I don't know if it is Chinese or Japanese but I am fairly certain it is one or the other. It hast has that wonderful Asian flair about it! It stands at approximately 30" tall. It is approximately 23-1/4" wide. It is approximately 11-1/4" deep. It looks to be modeled after some Asian Dynasty but I have no idea for sure or if it is a reproduction or an ... moreoriginal. French Louis XVI Secrétaire à Abattant 19th Century. Carved Fruitwood w/ Marble Top Item# 120010TTT02 This gorgeous drop-lid carved fruitwood desk. Featuring a pierced brass gallery wrapping around shaped marble with turret corners over fluted fruitwood pillars with brass mounts. The drawer has original brass hardware with a strong lock in the middle, the keyhole a four-leaf clover lock guard, limiting the keys that can access the hole- this lock mechanism is mirrored on the drop-lid and on the pair of cabinet doors. The lid drops to reveal six small drawers and a few cubby-holes, all of the drawers hand dovetailed front and back, the bottoms bevelled to rabbet into the sides. The lower cabinet opens to reveal a locking box, key absent, the box somewhat destabalized due to a missing block on the right side. The European styling of ... morethis wall cabinet suggests that it probably originates from the continent. It is made of oak and with age use and polishing has developed a lovely patina. The cupboard stands on a simple plinth some 2cm deep. As such it could be free standing or wall mounted. The arched door is firm on its original hinges and is secured by a little brass clasp. The arched glass is mirrored in the two side windows. The glass is finished with surface mount leading. The top of the cabinet is finished with a heavy oak carving of fruit and an ornate and heavy pelmet runs around the top. The cabinet is five sided with two final slim panels running inward to the back section. The back is panelled and has two old brass brackets for wall mounting. The top is finished in five sections of oak. The interior is divided by one shelf the front edge of which is finished in old gold gilt. Dimensions: the cabinet stands 43cm tall including the front carving. The front section measures 26.5cm wide. The cabinet is 18.5cm deep with a full width of 45cm. 1900 Antique Black Walnut Showcase and Display Cabinet built for the Kodak Co. This unique. One of a kind showpiece was exquisit ely handcrafted for the Kodak Company in 1900 to use in their establishment in Sioux City. IA. It was used until the close of the ir business in the 80's. We purchased this for use in our retail vintage bead sto re. The cabinet is a total of 56' long. A s shown in the photos. The cabinet measures 39' 8" to the corner. And 16' 5" from the corner. The cabinet stands 8' 4" The top separates from the bottom portion of the cabinet for ease of transport. The top unit is comprised of 12 units. And the bottom is 10. Lighting was added to the cabinet and is wired to current electrical codes. Antique Vitrine Curio Cabinet, Hand Painted French, Circa 1910, Excellent
You are viewing a fabulous French Vitrine Curio Cabinet. Around 100 years old and in excellent condition. The cabinet measures about 55 inches tall, 27 inches wide and 13.5 inches deep. This one is from my personal collection. I owned this about 12 years now. I own a few of these and have seen many more over the years. Most of them have paint loss, missing ormolu, are loose or the varnish has darkened the painting. This one has none of those issues. The paintings are vibrant and have no loss. The metal ormolu is all there. The piece is solid and tight. This was well made, I included a picture of the back to show the original brass screw construction. There is two glass shelves and one felt shelf inside. There is a round, lite stain on the top that's not noticeable but just wanted to mention it. I don't have a key but any standard ... moreantique key should fit it. There is a 1277 stamped on the back, no other makers mark. I took HD photos, so no surprises, just a really beautiful cabinet looking for a new home. I priced this much less than any cabinet like it on EBay and lower than others have sold for in much worse condition than this one. There is just a small piece of wooden detail that is missing right above the glass door. The piece is 57" tall and there is a mirror that is 13 3/4" tall that is added to this piece. The length of the piece is 42" The depth of the piece is 14 3/4" There are 4 shelves behind the glass door that can store many items that you can see. The Secretary has 3 drawers in it as well. It is free standing but can easily have some clips attached to the back for wall hanging as it is a slim piece so will fit in most places. It measures 25 3/4 total length. 19 1/4 in height. The base depth is 5 3/4 inches and the top deptch is 6 inches including the overhang. The drawers measure 22 3/4 inches in length and 4 5/8 in depth each with 5 seperate compartments. This auction is for(14) Antique/ vintage glass knobs or cabinet pulls. The heads measure 1 1/2 inches across. They are cauliflower shaped with a divot in the middle and 12 points. They have solid brass backs with a raised texture underneath for better gripping. These knobs came from Germany. They also have their original hardware. They are well made heavy& solid.
