Antique Quarter Sawn Oak Red Eye Treadle Singer Sewing CABINET ONLY Very Nice
This auction is for a nice antique quarter sawn oak Singer sewing machine cabinet only. There is NO machine. This cabinet held a Singer Red Eye sewing machine which was dated 1919. There are six drawers. Three on each side and a center drawer in the middle. This cabinet comes with its original key which locks the center drawer and the two bottom drawers on each side of the cabinet. The cabinet is in nice condition. I have all of the original hardware/hinges/screws to attach the cabinet to you treadle base. The only flaws to mention is the finish is slightly rough in areas and there is roughness around where one of the hinges from the sewing machine screwed into the wood. ANTIQUE COPENHAGEN BING GRONDAHL FLORA PAINTED RETICULATED CABINET PLATE c1905 This is a rare Copenhagen Bing& Grondahl small cabinet plate with a fine botanical floral painted pattern. Complemented with a reticulated and gold gilt rim, possibly from a larger dinner service. The plate is around 7 and 1/2" across the rim in a good, bright condition with no cracks or chips with fine colours, the painted flowers beautifully done and looking very real with raised specks to the petals. The plate having a kind of basket weave raised design to the rim. It has the Copenhagen Bing& Grondahl mark to the rear used circa 1901-1915. A low start with UK p/p £3.95p recorded delivery. I have 3 other plates and will combine p/p for cheaper postage.

1920's ANTIQUE MEDICINE CABINET WITH MIRROR ALL ORIGINAL! Up for auction is a 1920's antique medicine cabinet with it's original mirror. This medicine cabinet was taken out of mid 1920's farm house in Western Kentucky from an old pig farm during a Renovation project in Benton Kentucky. I had this removed very carefully for the simple fact that I know there is someone out there that would love to have this item for their own renovation project. Give this mid 1920's medicine cabinet a new life! I have left it as it was and have done nothing to besides picked a little paint build-up off of one of the hinges and antique knob due to the paint was thick and one could not see it's patina underneath. Please refer to the pictures I had taken for measurement and shape of it's nature. It has been painted a few times. And ... moreas shown in the pictures can easily be removed and repainted. The mirror is in good shape and is original,has that old wavy look to it) The front facia measures 23 1/4" wide, 27 5/8" tall and is 7/8" thick. Antique Hoosier Style Kitchen Cupboard Cabinet Copper Counter Slag Glass Doors
Vintage Hoosier Style Kitchen Cupboard Cabinet w/Copper& Slag Glass Doors This is a gorgeous old kitchen'Hoosier style' cupboard. It has the base. The hutch and a beautiful copper topped counter that does indeed pull out on the base. The top hutch has three doors on the top part with leaded Slag Glass in green and white milk-glass. These appear to have been added to the doors some time ago when this piece appears to have been refinished. The lower part of the upper hutch have two larger wooden doors. The outside of the right door appears to have sustained surface water damage to it some time ago. The bottom base part has one large latching door on the left side that reveals a metal lined storage bin with one wire rack making a shelf in it. The right side has three drawers where the twop two right side drawers are in wood and the ... morebottom right drawer is lined in tin/metal. The counter is simply beautiful. The counter was resurfaced in a solid sheet of copper sometime ago when the entire piece was lightly refinished. The copper counter has a nice protective coat of varnish or poly on it as does the entire piece. The sheen is in a nice soft gloss. Not a shreakingly heavy gloss that makes one put on sunglasses just to look at it. This piece is on metal casters with wood wheels and is easy to move if needed. The drawer pulls appear to be original to the piece. However some of the upper hardware appears to have either been moved during the restoration or have been replaced. All the hardware appears to be correct for the piece, I just can not swear it is all orginal to the piece. The family reports that they just remember this piece being as it has always been so the restoration work done on this piece was done at least more than 40-50 years ago. If I were to keep this for my very own. I would be proud to display it in my own kitchen and show it as my own. Take that for what it is worth. I will gladly entertain reasonable offers. Antique Breakfront China Cabinet Desk Excellent Condition
For your bid is an incredible breakfront. This breakfront was purchased by my grandparents in about 1950 at Marshall Field’s in Chicago Illinois. My grandfather was a well to do doctor and this piece was always one of the most cherished family heirlooms. The breakfront measures 67” wide by 15” deep by 81” tall. The piece comes in two parts as the top half lifts off. The top half has four doors that have glass that is curved like bubbles that leave each supports. There is a key for one of the center doors that is included. The lower half includes a desk that folds down and has several small storage compartments. The desk section is in excellent condition. This piece is 63+ years old and does show wear for its age. It has marks on the bottom from vacuum cleaners over the years. This piece is not perfect but is a very nice piece. ANTIQUE DOULTON BURSLEM CABINET PLATE BY HERBERT BETTELEY, 1891-1902
This is a wonderful antique Doulton Burslem plate. That shows lovely flowers in shades of rose and green with gilt edging. It is an unusual shape, measuring 12 1/2" long, 8 1/2" wide, and 1 1/4" deep. The Doulton mark dates this piece from 1891-1902. It has a registration number of`184626 and pattern number c72221. There are two other marks, HB2502, and HB2455. This second number was marked out by someone. The HB refers to the artist Herbert Betteley, who worked for Doulton from 1886-1930. Betteley was initially responsible for ornamental ware exhibited at the Chicago's World Fair(World's Colombian Exposition) of 1893. He designed patterns for Doulton, and was especially known for his painting of intricate gold patterns on ornamental ware. Building Shaped, C.1930 This is an absolutely stunning piece of antique Japanese furniture. Dating to around 1930. It is a Tansu cabinet(probably a type known as a Haribako, used for storing small objects, and ideal for use as a jewellery cabinet) This example is in a very unusual shape– that of a Japanese house. Complete with windows; the sides pull out to reveal storage for small items, including 3 Mother of Pearl inlaid boxes(there is more MOP on the drawer fronts on the outside) a small footed tray, and 3 small red lacquered trays. The roof is removable. Revealing another 2 compartment, and turned upside down, it turns into another painted and lacquered tray; the top part of the roof lifts out, too, ... moreand becomes yet another small tray. The metalwork appears to be all original, as is the glass, and the cabinet is in excellent all-round condition with only some fading and wear to the exterior. Although such antique Japanese pieces can be found for sale. They are usually rather more plainly decorated then this, and I have never seen one in this shape or style before. An Antique Oak Smoking Cabinet Beautiful Condition& Lockable Welcome to Bigals Pandoras Box. Treasures to suit every pocket This auction is for an excellent oak cabinet. Originally made as a smoking cabinet It measures approx 17 inches tall by approx 13.75 inches wide by approx 8 inches deep A cabinet has two glazed doors. Two single drawers and one double drawer, a shelf with places for pipes etc and a larger shelf that would have been used for the tobacco jar to stand on. These shelves can obviously be used for other things if you just want a cabinet for general use. This cabinet is of really good quality as you can see from the locks and the finish of the piece. The corners of the doors have metal corner brackets to make sure the joints never came loose and the left hand door has a small foot lock at the base as shown. To make sure ... morethat the doors are fully secure when locked. The drawers are in good order and come with metal turned knops or handles. All are secure and the drawers are in good order with secure joints. The back does have a split. As shown, due to the drying out of the wood on the back probably due to central heating, but on the back this is no problem and is a common occurence as thinner wood was used on the backs of these pieces. The cabinet weighs just under 5kgs( approx 11 pounds) A lovely piece in original condition and in as stated condition Collection is an option with this piece. This is a wonderful antique corner cabinet with solid wood doors. This piece is walnut and measures 80" tall and 53" across the front. It has blind doors on the top. Over a single drawer, over 2 blind doors on the bottom. T he corner cabinet requires approximately a 33-36" corner. This is an approximation because the piece is in a storage space and not in a corner to get an exact measurement. It has a flat back rather than coming to a point in the corner. Each of the back side panels is approximately 21" deep and I am guessing that the space to the corner would be another 12-15" There is an inverted bowl on top of the cabinet in the pictures. The sewing machine is approx. 30 1/2 in. tall x 36 in. with lid closed(lid open 50 1/2 in. x 18 in. deep. The cabinet has a quarter sawn oak pattern commonly called"tiger” oak. There are seven cabinet drawers with carved oak fronts and decorative carved sides. It has the original decorative wrought iron base with the letters Singer in the center. Foot treadle and wheel. The wheel and foot treadle moves free but the belt which is there is needs to be connected or replaced. I have only used this for decoration. The cast iron is paint black and is intact. There isn’t any rust. The ... moreoak wood has a beautiful patina and is in excellent condition with only minor blemishes consistent with its age and usage. The one noticeable exception is on the fold out cover which has a small gouge which you can see in the picture. The wood on the back of the cabinet looks as good as the front. The actual machine shows signs of wear from normal use. Some of the black paint has worn off. There is a needle attached but no bobbin. The machine is dusty which you can see in the picture. When I took this picture. It was the first time I have ever lifted the machine out of its cabinet. In the 38+ year I have owned this remarkable piece of American history. I have used this sewing machine for everything except sewing. At one time or another I displayed my antique sewing collection, used it as a. Record player holder, computer/writing desk, telephone stand, small Christmas displays with wooden bobbin candle holders and as an end table to name a few.
