This is an antique French walnut bed canopy. Measuring approx 18" wide x 7" tall x 6" deep it is in very good. Strong original condition. Made from walnut it has gorgeous wood grain detail and the sort of patina that only comes from age and honest use. It has a natural wood knot fault on the backing bracket but no visible worm holes. It has a recessed screw thread hole for fitting to the ceiling for hanging drapes from but these are more often used as chic unique towel rails. Off white pure cotton hand knitted antique bed cover with crochet edging. Measures about 60" x 62" and crochet edging is about 6" deep. Knitted with extremely fine stitches so it's very hard wearing. Some of the crochet needs to be stitched back in place(easily done) and there is a little"bite" See photo 9. There are a few tiny rust spots. Easily removed with rust remover. Apart from these minor signs of age this cover is in excellent condition and has years of life ahead being so tightly knitted with such good quality cotton. You are looking at an antique pull out cabinet bed. The faded tag on the back says Forest City Furniture Company. Rockford, ILL. The item is in good condition in my personal opinion. It has cracks, blemishes, scratches, etc. It is missing one leg on the pull out bed. It appears to be an easy item to make so as to match the other leg. It appears that bottom side piece of molding is also missing. Again, this looks to be a simple piece to fabricate to replace. It may be missing other items I have not noticed. Rare antique Anatolian Turkish bed set consisting of a blanket and three pillow cases. All pieces are hand woven. Probably from the early 20 th century. Some of the dyes may be natural. But the tomato color has run some into the ivory, though it doesn’t detract from its beauty. The tomato color on one end of the blanket is lighter. It is hard to find sets like this with all the pieces. All the pieces are in good condition. The blanket has on small 1/2” x 1/2” hole. Some minor stains and a little wear along the edges. The pillows are each made from one piece, folded in half and then the edges sewn together. The middle pillow has a two piece back. The pillow on the right has a small slit like hole that may be a weaving mistake. The blanket is 59” x 82” The left pillow is 17” x 23” the middle pillow is 16-1/2” x 22-1/2” the right pillow is 18” ... morex 23-1/2” Photo# 7 of the blanket. Here is a true antique Jenny Lind style spool full size bed. It is a completely handmade turned spool bed. I believe it is maple. It measures 41 tall inch posts, bed measures 76 by 50 on the outside frame and 70 by 44 on the inside. All the rope knots are there. It takes 2 people to put the bed together. The unusual double threaded rail posts are beautiful. Its in excellent original condition. the headboard itself does need regluing inone spot I found, BUT, when the bed is put together, it is very tight. I was amazed at that. Antique brass bed from early 1900's with manufacturer's label still intact
Turn of the century brass bed with patent label still attached. Manufactured by the Simmons Company in 1905. All parts are with the bed including frame rails which are not pictured. There is only one flaw with the bed which I tried to show in the last two pictures. One of the spindles is missing a weld, but you cannot tell unless you look closely.

Old Antique Ornate Wrought Iron Bed, Aged Red Paint, Cast Iron Decoratives, Full
Here's a nice old or antique wrought iron bed we received recently with some estate items. This one is probably from the 1880's to perhaps 1920's with red paint and an assortment of what appear to be cast iron decorative pieces for an ornate appearance. I'm not sure what style this would be called but these decorative pieces and curved lines might be called an art nouveau style versus a primitive style. The red paint has signs of age and use giving it a nice naturally aged appearance. Though some may elect to paint it. This is a full size bed with the space between the rails at about 53.5 inches and the space between the headboards about 75 inches. The headboard stands about 61 inches or slightly over 5 feet tall, and the foot board is about 46 inches tall at the tallest point. The angle iron cross bar brace piece at the bottom ... moreof the headboard has been broken at some point. The other connective pieces hold the headboard together well but this should be braced, clamped or tack welded by someone handy. This bed is relatively clean but has been stored for some years and could use a little more light cleaning. Overall a nice antique wrought iron bed for those who seek functional furniture that provides an interesting decorative appearance. This bed is being listed for"Pickup Only" and is located about 15 minutes from the junction of Interstates 89 and 93 near Concord in central New Hampshire. Pickups are most easily arranged nights and weekends. For those who are distant from NH but have trips planned to NH within 45 day from the sale ending date, we will arrange to hold the door provided payment is received within 7 days of the end of the auction. Incredible Antique Crotched Walnut Empire/Federal bed, mahogany colores
Incredible American Federal/Empire Style bed. Likely 1860's. Very sturdy, not squeaking or wiggling, rails attach to head and foot with very tight fit. Rails are very heavy, solid timbers, just a super looking piece. I believe it is crotched walnut, looks like flamed mahogany, but believe that is just because of the color. accomodates a standard full size mattress. Includes Head, Foot, rails, and slats. Slats are new wood slats. I am located in Birmingham. AL. I travel extensively throughout the Southeast, can probably deliver or meet you somewhere for a reasonable fee.
