It has three small pull out drawers on the inside with the middle drawer having a lift up mirror and there are three larger drawers below the desk area. The inside of the desk also has a couple of cubby shelves. If you look below the second shelf you can see someone has cut a small hole to pass cords through. I could not find any markers markings but I am guessing from other items in the house of this estate sale it is Danish and probably from the 60's or 70’s. It is of smaller proportions making it ideal for a smaller room. The approx. measurements are: 3’ 6½” tall/ 2’ 11” across the front and is 1’ 5¼” wide. There are a couple of very small little marks or bumps but nothing major and overall it is in Very Good used condition. This Would Be A Very Stylish Addition To Any Home! This is a nice Borge Morgensen bookcase/ secretary. It is structurally sound and does not have water or moisture damage. But does have some scratches and chipping in the veneer. Especially around the bottom edge. It has its original finish and is presentable though I think it can use a new finish and a bit of repair work on the veneer chips. This piece stands 72" tall. It's constructed of teak solids and veneers(primarily veneer) over hardwood and particle board, The legs and drawer unit are attached ... moreby machine screws and can be removed for transport(and I think but am not certain that the drawer unit can be moved to either the left or right side(floating" drawers) The desk has three equally-sized drawers. The topmost of which has a lock. I do not have the key. It was easy to pick- I would think you might be able to get a skeleton key that would work, or get a key made if you really want one. Condition: For their probable age. I think the desks are in nice vintage condition. They have the minor nicks, superficial scratches, blemishes, minor imperfections, etc. that come with vintage furniture and are part of their character and appeal. The are solid and sturdy. Flaws: As I acquired these. They were in generally nice shape but appeared dry and had faint water marks. I very lightly sanded the tops(veneer) and gave each table a treatment of Watco Teak Oil finish per the instructions. I don't have a lot of experience with teak. Overall, I think they look pretty nice, but the tops I think absorbed the oil a little unevenly, most notably on the right side and corner of the first desk. Hello! Up for sale is a very nice Mid Century Modern wooded writing desk. It has tapered legs and is hand signed on the back. It has a Paul McCobb feel to it although I don't know who made it. The drawers have grooved"handles" underneath the fronts. It measures 35-1/2 inches wide by 16-3/4 inches deep and stands 29-1/4 inches tall. There is some light wear such as scratches on it but overall it is in great condition. The workmanship is very good. It is the perfect size to fit into an apartment or condo. Which is barely noticeable. The two doors dont join together fully at the bottom, but the doors do close fully. This is a beautiful vintage 60s Danish Modern executive desk. This desk is a dark walnut wood. The wood has been waxed and buffed and it looks spectacular. The backside is finished to look just as nice as the front so that the desk can be placed anywhere in a room and it will look great from every angle. The desk has a cabinet with an adjustable shelf on the left side and 2 drawers on the right side. It is a large piece at 74" long. 20-1/2" wide and 29" tall. The desk is in excellent condition. Vintage 1960's MAINLINE by HOOKER Mid Century Danish WALNUT Floating Desk Up for sale is this Vintage 1960's MAINLINE by HOOKER Mid Century Danish WALNUT Floating Desk. This desk is vintage and does show signs of wear consistent with age. Chips and scrapes. The desk is structurally sound. All the drawers move smoothly. There is some damage on the rear lip of the desk. There are what appear to be burns in the top of the desk. There is also a small veneer chip missing at the bottom of the large drawer. Lastly there are cracks in two of the brass foot caps. Please see ALL pictures for the best physical description for this item and ask any questions before purchase.
