The secretary can be found on page#131 in the 80th edition of the Ethan Allen Treasury of American Traditional Interiors. Ethan Allen describes their Georgian Court line as having. Intricate details crafted by skilled aritsans in fine cabinet woods such as solid Cherry and carefully selected veneers. Georgian Court accents offer pure traditional styling of exceptional beauty and value to provide lasting delight and satisfaction to all who want to enhance their own homes with the graceful designs of our great heritage. The secretary top measures 36" wide x 46" high x 10" deep and features beveled glass doors as well as two adjustable cherry wood shelves that are grooved for china display. The back is selected veneer. The top has gorgeous carving and a pretty finial. The secretary base measures 36.5" wide x 41" high x 19" deep and features five drawers and a drop front with lock with key. There are cubbies inside the desk base as well as two drawers. The drawers are very clean inside. This secretary was manufactured in January. 1980 and is in excellent condition overall with a few exceptions. There are light dings and one more noticeable ding on the front of the secretary where it drops down(see pics#10, 11) There are also a few tiny chips low on the front two feet and one chip on the very back side of the secretary top. It is not very noticeable when it is against the wall, unless you are looking at the back(see pic#12) The Ethan Allen name is stamped in the top drawer and the date as well as the item number are stamped on the back. Ethan Allen manufactures high quality investment grade furniture that can be passed down through generations. Offered for sale is a Stunning Ethan Allen Vintage Georgian Court Cherry Secretary. This secretary includes a top and separate base. The top is item#11-9224 in the#225 finish and the bottom is item#11-9223 in the#225 finish. The secretary can be found on page#131 in the 80th edition of the Ethan Allen Treasury of American Traditional Interiors. Ethan Allen describes their Georgian Court line as having. Intricate details crafted by skilled aritsans in fine cabinet woods such as solid Cherry and carefully selected veneers. Georgian Court accents offer pure traditional styling of exceptional beauty and value to provide lasting delight and satisfaction to all who want to enhance their own homes with the graceful designs of our great heritage. The secretary top measures 36" wide x 46" high x 10" deep and features beveled glass doors ... moreas well as two adjustable cherry wood shelves that are grooved for china display. The back is selected veneer. The top has gorgeous carving and a pretty finial. The secretary base measures 36.5" wide x 41" high x 19" deep and features five drawers and a drop front with lock with key. There are cubbies inside the desk base as well as two drawers. The drawers are very clean inside. This secretary was manufactured in January. 1980 and is in excellent condition overall with a few exceptions. There are light dings and one more noticeable ding on the front of the secretary where it drops down(see pics#10, 11) There are also a few tiny chips low on the front two feet and one chip on the very back side of the secretary top. It is not very noticeable when it is against the wall, unless you are looking at the back(see pic#12) The Ethan Allen name is stamped in the top drawer and the date as well as the item number are stamped on the back. This vanity is very nice with no major damage. Does has some abrasions and surface scratches. The inside has compartmentalized section under the mirror that can use some cleaning and buffing. Ethan Allen Old Tavern Distressed Pine Roll Top Desk
Here is a wonderful example of Ethan Allen quality. Done in the popular Old Tavern distressed finish. It is in great shape. There is a small chunk of wood missing under the lip of the top section. It is mostly hidden and not very noticeable. It could be filled. Please see photo#5. Otherwise, there is very little sign of wear. The roll operates smoothly. The drawers also operate smoothly and have tight tovetails. The bottom left drawer has brackets for hanging files. This desk has a LOT of storage. I do not have the key. The top section is removeable. Although large, the desk is made of pine and therefore not really heavy. It stands 55" wide, 48.5" tall and 28" deep. Shipping is estimate. All dovetail joined, with two interior drawers inside the desk. The interior also has additional dividers for storage of letters or mail, as well as storage beneath the interior shelf. Solid construction of hardwood throughout the two pieces. I believe the wood is rock maple. Upper bookcase unit has three shelves with the middle shelf removable.
