2 Antique Metal Furniture Escutcheon Key Hole Cover Plate Architectural Hardware
Up for auction are an antique grouping of two similar. But different architectural or furniture escutcheons recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia, PA area. They are found in good used condition. Each have two mount holes and remnants of an original black finish. The smaller one shows greater details and measures approximately 7/8" x 1 5/8" in size. The larger one measures approximately 1 1/4" x 1 7/8" Two very nice pieces. Keyhole shapes are a bit different as well. VTG Door Knob & Matching Escutcheon Skeleton Key Hole Cover Plate Set - Salvage
This is a truly lovely set. It seems complete enough to be put to use again. But would also make an excellent item to repurpose. The two matching key hole covers have a very art deco design. The door knobs match the key cover plates, and have a triangular detailed design on the knob. The set is rusted, pitted and has a patina of age all over.
