2 Cast brass Antique ornate victorian escutcheons,key hole covers hardware
This is a nice pair of victorian cast brass escutcheons. They are 1- 5/8" wide and 1- 3/16" tall. The keyhole is 1/2+" long and 1/4" across. The slot portion of the hole is 1/8" wide at its narrowest point. These escutcheons are nice and heavy. If you have any questions. Please ask.

10 cast brass Antique ornate victorian escutcheons,key hole covers door hardware
This is a beautiful set of 10 matching antique cast brass escutcheons. They were probably originally used on interior doors. Each is 7/8" wide and 1- 7/8" tall. The keyhole is 11/16" long and a little more than 5/16" across. The slot portion of the hole will accept a key that is 1/8" wide. The clear finish on these is chipped and worn. On one. It is nearly gone. There is some discoloration from oxidation. The photos were taken in natural light, so the escutcheons look a little washed out. They have a brighter brass tone, but they still look old and a little weathered. They are very nice. If you have any questions. Please ask.

They have foil labels on the back which read“Made in India” They measure about 2 ¼ inches across by about 1 inch high(highest point) The cover on the left in the 2 nd row has a foil label on the back which reads“Made in Taiwan” R.O.C. Up for auction are seven antique skeleton key escutcheons with their protective sliding key hole covers. The sliding part of all seven keyholes works nicely. The overall condition of the keyholes is good. There is some tarnishing. Paint residue on some and one fully painted. 11 "NEW" Old Stock Keeler Brass KBC Chippendale FAUX Key Hole Covers Escutcheons
This group of chippendale faux key hole covers are from the estate of a man that restored furniture. They were found in the there original shipping box from Keeler Brass Company of Grand Rapids MI. They are 2 3/8 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches high. And the mounting posts are 1 1/2 inches on center. It appears they are mounted by drilling small holes then driving the groved posts in, I am now starting to list a large amount of furniture hardware from this estate and most is stock from closed furniture factories in this area.
