It is white in color with gold line details. A lot of it showing wear. The pot itself measures 5" tall and about 9" in diameter. There are some natural imperfections inside, a few of which are ... morelightly discolored. There are no chips or cracks that I can see but there is some light crazing. The lid is almost as heavy as the pot. It has light crazing all over as well, with wear of the gold that once was on the edge and the handle. The handle has a nice design. There is a 1" narrow chip on the inside center part of the rim of the lid, and one spot about the same that has not chipped off but it has the cracks present on 3 sides, I would say. It still seems intact, and both are unseen when the lid is on. Those issues do not affect it in any way, as the rest of the lid is fine. The bottom does have a blue mark that I haven't been able to identify, as it is blurry. Overall this is a great estate auction piece with lots of character! It would be great displayed and used for storage in the bathroom for anything from makeup to washcloths to hiding your hairbrush and hair accessories. It would also be a great display in your guest room full of grandma's heirlooms, as that could have been where a chamber pot was kept in the days when used. Pre-owned vintage chamber pot(could be used as a planter too) found at an estate sale in good used condition. This weighty piece(over 3 1/2 lbs. is ceramic. I believe it would be considered ironstone. The creamy off white glossy finish shows crazing. One of the crazing veins has discoloration and appears in the pi cs as if it is a crack- it is not a crack. There is an area on the rim where the finish is a little bumpy and discolored(see pics) There are no cracks but there are some fleabites. About 3 of them that I see(see pics) There is a very light stain or finish discoloration on the inside side. see pic) There is a nice raised scalloped decoration all around the piece. This is a beautiful complete chamber pot. All together it is 6 1/2" tall. The pot is 6" deep. 10 1/2across counting the handle and the top lid is 9" across. Pretty peach and white color and on the top lid their is burnt red rose buds. The last 2 pix I tried to show the flea bite nick in it and the small patch of worn off paint on the side of a rim. Neither can be seen unless you are really looking for it. Very pretty piece of history. Wonderful display piece. Great collectors piece. This great chamber pot is made of a heavy ceramic or stoneware material. There are designs molded into the sides and lid and gold accents painted on. The handle is very ornate. The pot is 8 1/2" across the top and more than 5" tall. I don't see or feel any chips or cracks on the pot. The lid is also very ornate with lots of gold accents. It has great character and would be a great addition to your collection or to your victorian/antique decor. It is in good condition for it's age and years of use although it does have some minor scratches. 1 small 3mm chip on edge of handle, 1 1cm x 1/2cm chip on bottom edge of pot, and 1 crack from age on the inside bottom of the bowl 3.5cm long. These blemishes are not noticeable and do not take away from the charm of this piece. It measures approximately 9" wide not including the handle and 5 1/2" tall. The opening measures 6 3/4" across. This is a small ceramic or clay chamber pot from 1903. The saying on it is" There are moment when one wants to be alone" Also. Hand written in pencil is the notation that it is somewhere(I can't read the top line) in Canada in 1903. It measures 1 and 1/2 inchs tall and the circumference is about 1 1/2 inch.
