Vintage Enamelware Chamber Pot and Lid Black and White
The best I can tell. And remember from what my grandparents told me, this is a chamber pot. It appears to be enamelware. It is white with black trim. The pot is approx 9" deep and the opening is approx 8 1/2" but the pot flares out more than that. The lid is 10 1/2" in diameter. There are chips, look at the pictures for those. I believe the backstamp dates this from 1883 to 1913. Vintage porcelain enamel on steel chamber pot. The base has gently curving sides in white with a line of red trim around the top rim. It's large enough and sturdy enough to sit on(of course) The lid fits well and is solid fire engine red. There is a wire handle on the base that has a rotating. Black wooden handle. It stands about 9 1/2" tall, is 10" wide and weighs just under 3 pounds. It came from an estate sale and it's not marked for manufacturer or age. It's clean and in good condition. There are two chips in the enamel on the bottom edge, four small rust spots inside and a few light marks from age.

This is a vintage porcelain enamelware white chamber pot or pail. Dome shaped black trim lid with swing bale wire and nicely turned wooden handle. It is a heavy duty piece. Measures approx. 10"high to rim has a width of approx. 10” at the rim and the circumference around the rim measures approximately 32 ½” This urn shaped pail is large and the pot and lid together weigh around 4 ½ pounds. There are a couple small chips around the lid rim. Three uniform marks on the bottom(possibly from the manufacturing process) and there is a manufacturer’s flaw of a paint drip as seen on the photo with the scale. Other than that. It is white in color with gold line details. A lot of it showing wear. The pot itself measures 5" tall and about 9" in diameter. There are some natural imperfections inside, a few of which are ... morelightly discolored. There are no chips or cracks that I can see but there is some light crazing. The lid is almost as heavy as the pot. It has light crazing all over as well, with wear of the gold that once was on the edge and the handle. The handle has a nice design. There is a 1" narrow chip on the inside center part of the rim of the lid, and one spot about the same that has not chipped off but it has the cracks present on 3 sides, I would say. It still seems intact, and both are unseen when the lid is on. Those issues do not affect it in any way, as the rest of the lid is fine. The bottom does have a blue mark that I haven't been able to identify, as it is blurry. Overall this is a great estate auction piece with lots of character! It would be great displayed and used for storage in the bathroom for anything from makeup to washcloths to hiding your hairbrush and hair accessories. It would also be a great display in your guest room full of grandma's heirlooms, as that could have been where a chamber pot was kept in the days when used. enamel potty (old) with lid, white with black trim, holds a gallon!
This potty has no identifying marks on it. But it is old and in good condition. One chip is on the inside top(see picture) and not all the way through. It does hold a gallon and does not leak! Another chip(round in size about one inch in diameter) is located on the outside of the potty about halfway down from the top. The lid has three(1" chips) on the inside and one other very small chip under the lid as well. Diameter on the potty is 9 3/4" and it is 5 inches high This is quite a conversation piece and you could certainly plant a beautiful flowering plant in it, or.use it for its intended purpose while camping or simply traveling with children. This is an antique/vintage porcelain enamelware chamber pot(or"thunder bucket" as they called them up north) With subtly ribbed sides, a wire bail handle with a wooden grip, a lid, and trimmed overall in red enamel on the handle"ears" the lid handle, and the lid and base rims. It's a beauty.if such things can be called beautiful. It was certainly necessary and practical in its day. A nice piece of nostalgia, that makes you glad to live in modern times! Unsure of maker. From the early 1930s. Has some chips; a large one on the lid. And minor ones around the rim. Minor chips around the rim of the base, as well as several larger ones. It is marked Stonechina. J.W. Pankhurst, Hanley, England. It is about 9 inch wide(not counting the handle part) and about 8 inches high with the lid on. The lid doesn't rest 100% in the opening. I'm not an expert so I don't know if this was intentional at the time or if the top is from another chamber pot. It does seem top match in style and trim really well so chances are the lid does go with the pot. I don't see any chips or scratches. This listing is for a Victorian Chamber Pot ~ an especially attractive one with a delicate blue floral decoration. Embossed design and gold trim on both the base and the lid! The base decoration has some fading. The lid is brighter in color probably as the base was washed frequently and the lid was not! Also, the underside of the lid has some discoloration on one side that you can see in the picture. The base and lid measure 8 1/2" in diameter; 10 1/4" including the handle. It stands 8" tall. This is a beautiful old porcelain chamber pot found in Sweden. It is very unique and heavy with a beautiful blue flower design. The colors and shape of the handles are reminiscent of the Gustavian period in Sweden. It is unmarked. In excellent condition, would look beautiful in any part of the house. We estimate it's age to be mid-late 1800's. Measures 6" high by 12" across from handle by 9 1/2" in diameter at the top by 6" in diameter at the base. There are no chips, just one area where the white is worn away, shown in photo#4. A rare find.

Up for auction is a beautifully preserved early 1900s ceramic chamber pot with the Knowles. Taylor& Knowles maker mark on the base. This has been in our family for four generations, and we are now cleaning and downsizing some of our heirlooms. The base has a tri-scalloped pattern, and the handly of the lid is crown-shaped. There is a superficial crack that runs 3/4 of the length of the thick lid. But it doesn't go completely through the lid-it is a surface crackle only. There are no other chips, cracks or repairs on this heavy, clean and handsome pot. With the lid on it stands approximately 7 1/2 inches tall, and the diameter of the pot's rim is 8 inches. For your consideration today is a wonderful blue and white ironstone pottery chamber pot with lid. This pot was produced by the John Maddock& Sons Potteries. Staffordshire England. It is true vintage and in excellent condition overall with no chips or cracks- there is fine crazing all over but the shiny glaze on the pot and lid is still very nice. This chamber pot retains its original lid. The lid and single pot handle are enhanced by a leaf and vine motif molded into the pot. The blue bands on the lid and pot are surrounded by a fine line of goldtone highlights. This pot is approx 8 inches tall at the top of the lid knob. Diameter of the pot is approx 8 inches, 10 inches across at the single handle. Very attractive and collectible, this would be a fine addition to your blue and white or ironstone collection. Use this as a decorator piece in your modern bathroom! Before indoor bathrooms were popular. These chamber pots were used in every bedroom/household. People used these pots so that they wouldn't have to make a trip out to the outhouse in the cold, dark night. In the morning these full pots were carried out and dumped in the outhouse. Judging by the size. This one was probably used by youngsters between the ages of 5–12. This one is unique because it has a lid and the original manufacturer's label on the side. It reads. So I went to a favorite antique mall that always has an awesome February sale. Picked up lots of antiques and unique items to list! I also continue to list new items from the farm estate auction, with lookouts more new hardware pieces over the next several weeks. I am also going to one of my favorite flea market shows this weekend, so wish me luck! There’s something for everyone! Ya gotta love antique ironstone- and this beauty comes with its hard to find lid. Too! What I have is a white ironstone chamber pot- marked on the bottom with the double lion crest, Royal Patent Ironstone, and Tomkinson Bro& Co. this English piece will accent your collection or decoration beautifully. The base of the ... morepot measures 10 3/8" wide handle to end, 8 7/8" diameter at the top, and stands 5 3/4" tall. With the lid on, it measures 8" tall to the top of the handle. The pot is in excellent structrual condition, with some minor damage from wear and age(and I'm afraid to say.use! There's a very thin and hard to see hairline crack that runs from the top down 3 1/2" You can see it from the inside too- although only 2" of it on the inside. I'm showing you the outside view in photo 9, and the inside view in photo 18. The pot shows crazing all over, and some darkening due to the crazing toward the bottom of the pot, and some light carmel colored spots on the side, but no other issues, chips or cracks on the body. Turn it over, and you can see a couple of teenie nicks on the very rim of the bottom where it sits on the table/floor- so it has to be upside down to see and they may be original- see photos 19-23. If you look at photos 12-15, you will see that the underside of the lid has two very small shallow chips(photo 13 has a third that is more of a small scrape) One is on the inside rim, it's 1/8" and it's the largest. Up for auction is an antique white ironstone round lid recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It is found in good to very good used condition, free of any cracks or chips. It has an interior rim diameter of approximately 6 3/4" ion size. The entire lid diameter is approximately 9" in size. The finial has a wonderful shape to it. A very nice piece if needed. White Ironstone Kansas Shape Chamber Pot with Lid - J&G Meakin - 1800's
Offered is a beautiful White Ironstone Chamber Pot with lid in the Kansas Shape. This shape features vertical convex ribs with embossed large leaves around the handle and on the lid. As well as a large nut finial. This piece was produced by J&G Meakin in Hanley, England circa the mid to late 1800's, and retains their impressed mark indicating J&G Meakin- Pearlware. This Chamber Pot is is in very nice overall condition. The base is excellent with no chips or cracks. And only some light age coloring on the interior. The lid has a chip on the outer rim and a flake on the underside rim, as well as some light crazing. It measures 8 3/4 inches in diameter and 8 3/4 inches in height, with the lid on. ~ This remains a gorgeous piece of early White Ironstone ~ Please email any questions before bidding. White Antique Chamber Pot w/ Lid and Handle Perfect Condition!!!
This gorgeous antique white chamber pot has its lid and handle. The handle is metal with a wooden grip piece which is still fully intact although the paint on the wooden grip is a bit worn. There are no cracks or chips in the porcelain/ceramic(I am not sure which of the two it is made out of) The piece is in perfect condition. The charming embossed decoration on the pot and lid make this a beautiful find. This piece measures approximately 11 inches high and 10 inches in diameter, and is quite heavy, so I will be offering local pick-up only.

This auction is for a Lovely Antique White Ironstone Chamber Pot and Lid made by Johnson Brothers of England. It is in Very Good condition. Especially for its age, which dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s. There are no chips or cracks or stains or crazing or repairs in the bowl or the lid. The glaze is clear and white is white. There is a very minor grayish/silver"scuff" or lines in the top of the lid(last photo) It doesn't detract from the overall appeal of this Great Find. I am not certain of the pattern but the lid has a neatly scalloped edge. The piece measures 7 1/2 inches tall. With the lid, and 10 1/2 inches wide, including the handle. It has the Johnson Bros.
