COLLECTED IN 1880S AND PART OF MY OWN EXTENSIVE ... moreCOLLECTION OF ANTIQUE SOUTH EAST ASIAN CERAMICS This auction includes both Tak Om Koi Ceramic Plate in a unique Fish Design and bottle vase. This classic green and white Burmese ceramic style was discovered in the Tak Om Koi region. In 1983-4, when the Tak Om Koi Burial Sites were found along the Thai-Myanmar border this unusual Burmese ceramic production came to light. Prior to this very little was known of this ware and even to this day it is often known as lanna thai ware. But the idea that Martaban had produced ceramic jars was already widespread. In addition, the green glazed plaques at Bagan were well-known and red earthenware pottery had been discovered in many archaeological sites in burma. Both of these pieces are from the original excavation in the tak hilltop area and both are 100% genuine in every way. The red ground is covered with an opalescent white with inglaze green decoration of bird- fowl and typical south east asian border patterns that are very burmese in style, the large charger is heavilly crackled as the pictures show and has a firing crack and a small frit to the rim, and although excavated and very old is a fine example of this rare ware, the bottle vase is also in very good shape for age, both are outstanding and very very rare pieces, in my many years as a dealer and collector of south east asian antiques very few of these amazing rare inglaze green wares have ever surfaced, proving the rarity of such pieces, i have a small collection of these pieces collected over a very long period of time and intend to keep only 2 examples(if interested to see others contact me through my ebay) these reluctantly i am selling due to downsizing my collection and the need of space in my home, i hope that they will go on to a collector of fine antique south east asian ceramics where they desrve to grace any collection. size of charger- dish 10 in

Up for auction from the estate of a New York designer is an antique Minton chamber pot with a pink border a gold leaf rim and gold flower design. This charming piece was imported by Davis Collamore& Co. of New York. It measures 5 inches high and 9 1/4 inches in diameter. And is in good vintage condition. The handle is perfectly intact. Up for bid is a vintage probably antique(no date or makers mark) hand painted ceramic chamber pot. The bottom of the handle has two cracks running through it and a chip from the top crack. I would suggest never lifting it by the handle. Otherwise still very nice condition. Measures about 10-3/4" from handle to edge. 8-1/2" diameter rim x 5-5/8" tall to top of handle, 5" tall to top of pot. I will ship the next day after payment is received. Antique 1890's Women's Ceramic Urinal, Anchor Pottery, USA Made Historical Piece
Beautiful female urinal from the 1890's. It is in wonderful condition with no chips. The glaze has crackled as can be seen in one or more of the photos. This is an antique collectable and a great conversation piece all in one! It is about 11" long. 4.25" wide, and 5.25" tall. The Trenton Historical Society tells us that the Anchor Pottery of Trenton NJ began using the marking on the bottom(see the photo) in 1894 and discontinued its use three years later in 1897. The marking says"Iron Stone China Warranted" and has the central initials AP(for Anchor Pottery) under a cross and crown. With two lions, one on each side. All photos are of the actual item.

I found this at a thrift store. It is 10 3/4" across with handle. 8 1/2" without and 5 3/4" tall. It weighs almost 4 lbs. Made in England from 1880 to 1896 going by the back stamp. It is in amazing condition. It has no chips cracks or crazing. There is a very small spot on the top of the handle that is a manufacturers defect or a spot of wear, see last 2 pics. It could be repaired. Amazing condition for being about 125 years old. This would make a great decor piece or maybe a planter?

Up for auction is a beautifully preserved early 1900s ceramic chamber pot with the Knowles. Taylor& Knowles maker mark on the base. This has been in our family for four generations, and we are now cleaning and downsizing some of our heirlooms. The base has a tri-scalloped pattern, and the handly of the lid is crown-shaped. There is a superficial crack that runs 3/4 of the length of the thick lid. But it doesn't go completely through the lid-it is a surface crackle only. There are no other chips, cracks or repairs on this heavy, clean and handsome pot. With the lid on it stands approximately 7 1/2 inches tall, and the diameter of the pot's rim is 8 inches. This is a large antique English ceramics potty. Carrying on base the famous"Victorian lozenge" This mark, used between 1842 and 1883, certifies the patent of the models registered by the UK Patent Office and allows the identification of day, month and year of their registration. From the explanations given by an excellent website eBay doesn't permit to give the address(just ask me and I'll let you know) this particular lozenge mark was used from 1868 to 1883 and I could work out that this pot was registered on 12th May 1877! It still remains in near mint condition, Though spotted in France. I was told by the previous owner that it had been offered by an English friend as"pot de la mariée" to her grand-mother as a young bride who saved it preciously her life round as a souvenir(without using it of course! And a tanish/brown luster pattern that extends into the top part of the inside rim. The mug measures 3 1/4" tall, 3 3/4" diameter, and including the handle 4 5/8" across. There isn't a manufacturer mark on the mug but there are what appears to be painter's marks on the bottom. Some of the pattern has been scratched through revealing the white ceramic underneath. Antique Blue & White Chamber Pot Ridgways England Semi Porcelain Ceramic
For your consideration is this really lovely blue and white ceramic chamber pot. It is English in origin and the makers mark on the bottom reads. Ridgways England Semi Porcelain" and I think under that is reads" Dog. Rose" The pot measures about 6" high and about 9" in diameter. It has a raised pattern on the white background underneath the blue flowers. Some of the blue flower design spills over into the top of the lip onto the inside. It is in excellent age appropriate condition. There are no chips. Cracks or nicks. There is an unglazed spot which was a flaw in the making underneath the lip. It is in good condition for it's age and years of use although it does have some minor scratches. 1 small 3mm chip on edge of handle, 1 1cm x 1/2cm chip on bottom edge of pot, and 1 crack from age on the inside bottom of the bowl 3.5cm long. Up for sale is an old 19th c. chamber or bean pot. Only the experts would know. There is a vent hole on the lid if this means anything. However. It is is good condition. The ceramic shows age. The lid has minor old chips on inside edge. The lid's blue painted pattern is actually very nice. The base is sculpted, too.
