Large lot of misc. architectural pieces. Circa 19th century. All have deeply bevelled. Recessed panels. There are 2 matched pairs and 2 individuals. One individual has bottom trim and ornate see-through fretwork. The other single has top and bottom trim with carved center crest. They all have gothic flair. May be made of walnut, but not positive. Winner gets all 6 Victorian pieces shown. For size reference, the panel at lower left measures 19 5/8 inches wide and 15 1/4 inches tall and upper left measures 21 3/8 inches by 8 1/2 inches. 2 Wonderful Primitive Vintage Terra Cotta Brick Corbels Pediments Architectural Everything that I am listing this week is from the flea market. And from an auction that we went to. There’s lots and lots of variety, and nifty stuff too- so I hope you enjoy! These 2 old terra cotta corbels are stand alone lovely just as they are- prop them up with your pretties and they will shine! Actually- they'd prop the pretties. I should say, as they are stand sturdy pieces of terra cotta clay, matching, each with a three round ball decoration on the front. Each one weighs a smidge under 5 1/4 lbs, and they measure 2 5/8" wide, 6 1/4" deepest and 5 3/8" tall. They are in excellent solid and sturdy condition- no structural issues or cracks, but with lots of rustic wear to the clay- there's small chips, nicks, pits, rubs- some original ... moreto the rustic making, some not- like on the round balls of the front. Description This is a great lot that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian home. They are all originally part of built in closets. The top pediment is very nice with lots of applied carvings. It is walnut and is 30.25 by 10.25 tall. The bottom left is oak. The top has egg and dart molding and small applied carving. It is 16. 5 by 6.5 tall. The bottom right is walnut with applied carving. It is 20.5 wide by 8 tall. Your bid buys the lot. They are all painted. Overall. They are in good co ndition. There are misc. light scratches and dings as they are antique. ANTIQUE 19th C VICTORIAN Carved Walnut Wood Crest VTG FURNITURE PARTS PEDIMENTS
ANTIQUE 19th CENTURY VICTORIAN CARVED WALUT WOOD CREST or FURNITURE PEDIMENT PARTS Two beautiful. Old, Victorian Wood Pieces that go together nicely, and form a crest, or just to use as parts. They are carved from Walnut with very ornate carved flowers and leaves that are carved all the way through. They both have a scalloped top and plain back. This was probably part of a settee or large chair, perhaps a chaise lounge, because it has holes where upholstery tacks were(see photos) Also, on each end there are holes for dowels(the photos show both pieces put together like an arch way(they would have to be doweled again or glued to stay this way) These beautiful pieces of wood each measure approximately 13 1/2" high x 12" across. So, together, they would measure about 24" across. The wood is about 1 3/16" thick. This very ... moredecorative wood is in good condition but would need some refinishing or painting and a little restoration where the dowel holes and upholstery tack holes are. There are the usual minor nicks, from age and use, but no loss to the carving. Two beautiful old pieces of Victorian craftsmanship! Being offered as is and with No Reserve. 4 original. Antique, furniture trim pieces. Deeply carved, repeating pattern. Added to that, are finely detailed leafy sections. Looks like walnut, but not certain. Salvaged from Victorian cabinet. Smaller pieces each measure 21 3/8 inches, longer ones 34 1/2 inches by approx 3 3/8. Shows lots of age/wear with one slight age crack across half of one of the shorter pieces. Rare. Unusual architectural antiques. VERY hearvy, thick, completely original, mixed woods and veneers. I've never seen any quite like them. We have had them in the last 8 attics hoping to redo an old historical home one day. What can I say? WE are"antique" now and need to pass these treasures on to someone younger who can do them justice in a home. They could be incorporated into other areas, but I imagine were intended to be PEDIMENTS over big windows and/or doors way back when. Please study the photos to see just what you would be getting. They are both quite sturdy. But could use refinishing and reinforcing. There is a small area of very OLD termite damage as shown on one of them, but otherwise all there, not damaged. a LOCAL sale(Austin, Tx area) would be ideal, of course, so you could inspect them personally. Each one weighs a smidge under 5 1/4 lbs, and they measure 2 5/8" wide, 6 1/4" deepest and 5 3/8" tall. They are in excellent solid and sturdy condition- no structural issues or cracks, but with lots of rustic wear to the clay- there's small chips, nicks, pits, rubs- some original to the rustic making, some not- like on the round balls of the front. And I found some fabulous primitive antiques, as well as boxes and boxes of antique and vintage hardware that I will be listing for a long long time- someone clearly was a woodworker or dabbled in furniture creation or restoration. Theeir shapes are not a 90 degree angle, so if they were on legs, they would have had to have been ... morelegs that are curved- not that they don't"wrap" to either side of a corner, it's just that they wouldn't be flush with the leg of a corner- there would be some air space. They are old vintage, if not antique, and they are either solid brass or bronze- one or the other as a magnet does not stick to them. I'm leaning toward brass because of the gold color that shines through the dark patina. The smaller pieces are darker than the larger pieces, but you can see the peeks of the gold brass color on the edges and at the back. All of the pieces have an age darkened patina accented with green oxidation, especially at the backs. If you look closely in photo 9 at the piece on the left, you can see that this piece has two drops(one about 2" and one about 1" one on either side) and a dot of a hard substance that has a green hue to it. It's hard, and feels and looks like dried adhesive- but it could be a dried varnish or even something else, I really don't know. I didn't try to remove it, as I didn't want to mess with the patina, but I want you to know it's there- see my photos. Other than this, they are in excellent condition. The two

They have repeating arched carved flowers with small turned spindles in between. The lower rail is deeper than the upper rail. Great looking pieces. Your bid buys the pair. Antique Architectural Federal Style Folk Art Hand Carved Eagle Pediments Finials
For your Federal Style Country Manse we have a Set of Two Antique Architectural Federal Style Folk Art Hand Carved Eagle Pair Pediment Finials from the late 1700's- early 1800's. These were recently mounted on iron stands for display. Using the original holes which go through from the top to the bottom in two places on each pair to host the iron rods that they are now fixed onto. Fairly substantial in size, each of these facing eagles actually measures 10" high x 13 1/2" wide x 1 1/4" deep(thick) and are ready for display on these stands that bring them up to 13" tall. Together they weigh 8 pounds 3.5 ounces including the iron stand. They show their age from alligatored varnish and a deepened patina to the wood. These look like they may have been painted over at one time. And have been dry scraped to remove the ... morepaint. They have cracks too, but not any that diminish their aesthetic value. The wood is a very dense, hard wood which appears to be either butternut or chestnut, neither of which is easy to come by any more. In 1870 there was a blight that wiped all the chestnut trees, with only a few coming back today, so since that time, chestnut has been very scarce. And with butternut wood, so many of those trees were logged off, and being such a slow growing tree, you don't see too many of them anymore unless on new plantations. Hand carved eagle figures are still considered the epitome of collectible American folk art pieces and are generally associated with the Federal style era in architectural design. Which is a period that ranges from 1780 to 1830, appearing most commonly on frames, furniture, building ornamentation, and as motifs throughout the making of textiles and American advertising ephemera. To continue, Federal-style architecture is the name for the classic architecture built in North America between c. 1780 and 1830. And particularly from 1785 to 1815. TWO Cast Iron Texas Star Seal Pediments
TWO Texas STATE STAR Cast Iron Rust Seals Seals 2008 and 2009 Careful when buying these seals online. I'm seeing some listing them with these big blown-up pictures making them LOOK just as big as these but when you drill down to find the measurements you see that they're MUCH smaller than these. THESE measure 8 3/4 inches Long AND wide. which is very similar to those that actually were hung in the old courthouses/post offices.etc. We're currently clearing out our warehouse. These are two cast iron seals we found out there that have been sitting for quite some time. They aren't"perfect" because they've been stored out there one atop the other. You could paint them if you wanted. Or leave them alone with the rugged chippy rusty look. One is a shade darker rust color than the other. One has more scuffs and scratches ... morethan the other. Many people take these to display on plate stands(there are no mounting holes) We've sold many to people who use them in different ways around the entryways to their land or homes on gates or fences(these can be welded) Our neighbor mounted two of them on either side of the stone base of his flagpole at the entryway to his acreage here in Texas. 2 Antique Wood Pediments Furniture Pieces? Could Use For Shelf Brackets WOW- went to my favorite flea market this weekend and found some awesome treasures for you- I’ll be listing all week. So keep checking! I'm not quite sure what these two beautiful pieces came from. But I took one look, and I saw some beautiful make do shelf brackets- don't you agree? Each one is made of solid wood, and I do believe that it is oak, although the patina is so dark, check out and see what you think. They are exact matches in size and style- and if you decide to use them as shelf brackets, each would sit with the design side out as I have in photo 4. They both have a scrolly raised design on the outside that is very art nouveau to me, and they measures each 4 1/4" wide by 3/4" thick at the top/wide end, 2 1/2" by 3/4" thick at the ... moreshort end/bottom, and 5 7/8" tall. Each one weighs 1/2 lb. They are in excellent solid and sturdy condition structurally, with a fair amount of wear in scratches, scrapes, nicks, dings and cracks that do not move, in addition to general finish wear. Both have a hole on the long back end(the 5 7/8" side) that goes all the way through, but no hole on the top, so you would need to create one to affix to your shelf. The finish shows alligatoring from age, and the patina is dark and rich- please supersize and look at all. The decorated side, the short bottom, and the front side that follows the curve of the pieces are finished the same, while the opposite side of the decorated side, the flat back side and the 4 1/4" long top side are stained, but don't appear to be varnished. I'm showing in photos 17& 18 that there's a 1" by 1/4" chip/surface crack at the long top flat side of one of them- it's close to the screw hole that's there, and there's no movement by it at all- and I pressed pretty hard, so it is secure. I think they are two lovely old pieces, that deserve another chance at life. To a good home only. Customer satisfaction

2 Lovely Vintage Heavy Brass Decorative Pediments Look Like Curtain Tie Backs WOW- went to my favorite flea market this weekend and found some awesome treasures for you- I’ll be listing all week. So keep checking! I'm not quite cure what this old pair started out life as. But they remind me(in design) of a pair of curtain tie backs- a tied ribbon look on the top with two tassels falling from them- don't you think too? The thing is, they are flat on the back, with no hooks or hardware that would turn them into tie backs- each has two screw mounting holes and that's it. They were made to decorate, and that's certainly what you can do with them- as you please! It's a matching set- the only difference being one is shinier brass- and the other- that's the one on the left- is less shiny. It's almost got more of a copper ... morecolor to it- I don't know if that's just the aged brass, or if they could possibly be copper with a brass finish? I think it's the first one, but please supersize and see what you think- I'm showing you a close up in photo 15. Sometimes the old patinas make it tricky. It's one of the other, as a magnet does not stick to them, and they are not pot metal, for sure. Each on weighs a smidge under 3/4 lb, so they are fairly heavy, and each one measures 7 7/8" tall by 3 1/8" widest and 7/8" at their thickest- the center of the bow. Other than the patina differences, they are in excellent solid and sturdy condition. No issues that I can find at all. They are both dusty/dirty, and could use I good cleaning, I do not mess with or clean as found patina. They are really pretty- I can't wait to hear what you will do with them! 4 original. Victorian era antiques. Pierced see through fretwork in wonderful condition. One pair is quarter sawn oak while the other may be maple, but not sure. Great for architectural wall hangings. Trim currently unattached. Oak ones measures 10 by 8 5/8 inches each while the other measures almost 9 by just over 7 1/8 inches.
