Vintage Enamelware Chamber Pot and Lid Black and White
The best I can tell. And remember from what my grandparents told me, this is a chamber pot. It appears to be enamelware. It is white with black trim. The pot is approx 9" deep and the opening is approx 8 1/2" but the pot flares out more than that. The lid is 10 1/2" in diameter. There are chips, look at the pictures for those. Vintage Childs Enamelware chamber pot. This piece is in excellent condition for its age. It is approximately 6 inches across(excluding the handle) and 3 inches tall. It has a very cute bear decal on one side. I have owned this piece for at least 25 years. I don't see any chips. However there are a few places under the rim where the enamel is thinner then the rest(occurred durint the manufacturing process) There are some barely visible scuff marks as is common with enamelware. Use this as a decorator piece in your modern bathroom! Before indoor bathrooms were popular. These chamber pots were used in every bedroom/household. People used these pots so that they wouldn't have to make a trip out to the outhouse in the cold, dark night. In the morning these full pots were carried out and dumped in the outhouse. Judging by the size. This one was probably used by youngsters between the ages of 5–12. This one is unique because it has a lid and the original manufacturer's label on the side. It reads. Columbian, Serving the Home Since 1871; Porcelain Enameled Steel; Made in U.S.A. by Columbian, Terre Haute, Indiana; General Steel Wares Limited; GSN logo) Exclusive Canadian Distributors. The pot has a red rim and the lid has a black rim but they fit perfectly together. The handle is a slightly rusted metal with a ... moregray Bakelite( grasping handle. I don't think plastic, as we know it today, was widely used during this time period but I understand that Bakelite was used, however, I can't guarantee this. There is also a ripped price tag on the side of the pot which I cannot read. SIZES: Pot only—7 1/2" tall x 9 3/4" diameter top. Total height with handle straight up is 13" Lid—10 1/8" diameter x 2" height CONDITION: There are several dents. Chips and scratches on the lid and pot. There are also several rust spots on the pot which someone tried to cover with a clear varnish or acrylic to stop the erosion, I suppose. The repair work is difficult to see in the photos. This is a quite large old fashioned white enamelware chamber pot. This pot has an extending metal handle with a wood grip. The pot measures about 11" tall to the top of the lid and the handle extends up about 5" The pot is about 8.5" wide. This pot shows some age and has bits of rust on the interior bottom and around the edge of the lid but very little. I see no chips or flakes. This pot can be very useful for whatever task you assign it to or would just serve well as a display piece.

This is a small 3 1/4" tall by 6" long including front rim to back of handle by 5 3/4" diameter outside rim to outside rim. Child size enamelware chamber pot. It is enameled metal and some in white with a blue rim and handle. This was obviously made as a chamber pot, versus a decorative reproduction, because of the nice wide tapered in rim. This is from the outside edges. It's approx. 4 3/4" wide across the bottom. Pre-owned in overall good vintage condition. It has a few places along the blue rim and also places along the rim into the white that are missing the enamel and 2 long places about 1" below the rim misssing the enamel. It also has small spots missing the enamel on the sides and 1 spot inside. All of these places have a littlesome rust. Bottom looks good. No missing enamel. This combinet has the original sticker on the front. I purchased this from a hardware store going out of business. If you look at the pictures you will see enamel chips missing on the lid and one on the bottom of the pot. On the inside there is white paint missing but no chip. The owner advised one of his customers picked it up and the lid fell off which caused the chips to the lid. He further advised that it is new with minor damage due to this.

Vintage White & Black Trim Enamelware Cesco Columbian Hospital Ware Bedpan
Vintage White& Black Trim Enamelware Cesco Columbian Hospital Ware Bedpan It is in good condition with no dents. There is enamel loss in one spot on the side and a couple small nicks on the bottom. The sticker says 1871 Columbian. Cesco Terre Haute, Ind. Made in USA. Measures 14" long. 11 1/2" wide and 3 3/4" tall. Any questions feel free to ask. I will combine ship if interested. Vintage White Enamelware Chamber Pot Potty Commode
This listing is for a white enamelware chamber pot with black trim. It doesn't have a maker's mark. The pot measures 5" high and 9.25" across the top. It has minor surface rust on part of the underside of the rim. Tiny chips in the black trim, a tiny chip on the bottom, and the interior has some light scratches and some discoloration. Shipping is based on 3lbs, packed weight.
