This set features a vintage victorian chamber pot with lid, a vintage white pottery FEMALE urinal(don't see many of these, but they DO WORK! and a glass MALE urinal. The chamber pot does have some chips and crazing and gold loss, the female urinal does have some crazing and chips. The glass male urinal is in excellent condition! Slipped under the bed. Or placed in a Victorian potty chair. Makes a really fun planter, or conversation piece today. Influenced by the Art Nouveau period. It has a pumpkin body, ornate scroll handle, decorative light red/dark pink transferware, with touches of gold sprayed around the rim, painted around the scalloped body. You can tell it was hand decorated. As some of the gold is thicker in some areas(making it look dark in spots: see the photo with handle on the left) Plenty of manufacturing flaws, spots and misglazing, typical of ceramics of the era. Up for auction is a beautiful vintage porcelain Lamberton Victorian slop jar. These were used with a chamber pot. Wash bowl and pitcher when sprucing up. I believe it is more than a hundred years old- very pretty decals and coloring Good size- measures about 14" tall x about 14" across handle to handle. Has a bit of crazing on the lid as shown in photo. No crack or chips. There are a couple marks on one side as shown in last close up photo. Also some type of runs on bottom under one handle on the side- may be able to be washed off. A beautiful. Striking and feminine piece. Heavy. So shipping will reflect. Any questions. The pot measures approx. 9" diameter. at the rim) There is no makers mark on the bottom but there is a painted# 10.143. There is also a stamped#66 or#99 on the bottom. The pattern is of orange. Blue, lavender flowers with green stems and leaves. The handle and rim has an abstract design(blue,pink and brown) The blue is a cobalt/royal blue. Here is a vintage Victorian porcelain chamber pot. Or thunder mug as some would call it, that has a pretty brown floral transfer decoration, and comes complete with cover. It is in nice condition with no chips, and has 2 fine hairlines that are seen on the outside of the rimmed foot of the base only. The inside is clean enough to serve your vegetables.
