This set is presented in its original black-coloured box with dark blue silk lining to the lid and velvet to the base. Each utensil is very clearly hallmarked for Birmingham with the maker’s mark of William Vale& Sons. The date marks are for the years 1909-1910. This set is in such beautiful condition that I doubt it has ever actually been used. There are no dents or dints to the silver that I can find and the engraving is still crisp and clean. Please be aware that it is 113 years old so there will be tiny surface abrasions caused through use and cleaning. The steel is also in very good condition with the only exception being the underside of the Shoe Horn blade which has some corrosion spots(please see the photo below) I think this may have been caused from it rubbing against the base through the years. The outer case has some light scuffing here and there but the inner linings are in excellent condition. Antique 1920s vintage Fanny Physician stoneware miniature Chamber Pot novelty NR
Hello! Thank you for joining us in order to preview an exceptionally scarce and distinctive. Antiquarian miniature, making for a wonderful dollhouse accent, small for the bathroom knick-knack shelf or interesting display item for the antique science and medicine collection. Offered here is an original(circa 1920) miniature stoneware chamber pot, showing a shiny gold interior and gilded FANNY PHYSICIAN namesake across the front of the pot. I do not know the exact history behind the miniature chamber pot; having procured the keepsake this past Summer at a New England estate where the majority of items dated anywhere between 1880-1940. The miniature shows no maker's marks. A stout little pot with nice shiny glazing, measuring 1" height x 1 1/4" diameter at the rim. The Fanny Physician has a great handle as well. The antiquarian ... moreminiature may have been a premium from some sort of treatment for constipation? The chamber pot miniature is in excellent condition, showing no unsightly age indications. The Fanny Physician" lettering is not perfect; where it was obviously hand painted in miniature. A great accent for any collection. But does have a 1 1/2" long and 1/4" wide chip on the bottom edge which shows a little on the scalloped bottom edge when sitting upright, but is more visible when looking at the bottom of the pot. There is also overall light crazing and some very light staining on the inside. Other than mentioned, I find no other flaws. Vintage Johnson Brothers Royal Ironstone Chamber Pot! Blue Flowers! LID!! NICE
VERY NICE VINTAGE CHAMBER POT! JOHNSON BROTHERS! MADE IN ENGLAND! WITH LID! NICE BLUE FLOWER AND STEM DESIGN! This is a vintage chamber pot that was made by Johnson Brothers in England. It is the Royal Ironstone series and is made of porcelain and heavy! It comes complete with the lid. It's a great piece! The chamber pot measures 9 inches tall and 11 1/2 inches wide. It has an interesting handle and knob on top of the lid. The floral design is on both sides and extends to the lid. It looks like it had gold paint along the edge. I like how the porcelain is shaped along the top and bottom of the pot and on the lid. It's a beautifully made piece! The chamber pot is in good condition. The design has endured well for its age. The colors are good. There are some chips along the edge of the lid. Inside the lid you can also see some chips ... moreand some staining. There are marks here and there. The gold paint has worn in areas. There is some paint wear here and there. Overall. It's in really good shape for its age. What a fun decorator item! Item for sale is a vintage yellow ware heavy-doodoo(eee) pottery bed pan.could be an awesome repurposed wall pocket! It does have a hanging hole in the back. see picture#5) It measures 16 1/2" long. 11" wide, and 4 1/2" deep. It is in good to great used condition with the crazing associated with an older piece, and a few potters blemishes: cracks that were glazed over(see pictures 6-8) and some glaze that had been scraped off on the rim. Vintage porcelain enamel on steel chamber pot. The base has gently curving sides in white with a line of red trim around the top rim. It's large enough and sturdy enough to sit on(of course) The lid fits well and is solid fire engine red. There is a wire handle on the base that has a rotating. Black wooden handle. It stands about 9 1/2" tall, is 10" wide and weighs just under 3 pounds. It came from an estate sale and it's not marked for manufacturer or age. It's clean and in good condition. There are two chips in the enamel on the bottom edge, four small rust spots inside and a few light marks from age.

The back stamp O.P.Co with a solid line beneath, then the word CHINA was dated during 1890- 1895. Please refer to photos. There is also two craze lines from one end of the handle out about 1 1/2" There are two blemishes on the underside of the lid. The largest blemish is in direct relationship to the blemish on the top. Please refer to photos. 9 1/2" Across entire lid Chamber pot would have to have an 8" inside diameter for this lid to fit.
