VERY NICE VINTAGE CHAMBER POT! JOHNSON BROTHERS! MADE IN ENGLAND! WITH LID! NICE BLUE FLOWER AND STEM DESIGN! This is a vintage chamber pot that was made by Johnson Brothers in England. It is the Royal Ironstone series and is made of porcelain and heavy! It comes complete with the lid. It's a great piece! The chamber pot measures 9 inches tall and 11 1/2 inches wide. It has an interesting handle and knob on top of the lid. The floral design is on both sides and extends to the lid. It looks like it had gold paint along the edge. I like how the porcelain is shaped along the top and bottom of the pot and on the lid. It's a beautifully made piece! The chamber pot is in good condition. The design has endured well for its age. The colors are good. There are some chips along the edge of the lid. Inside the lid you can also see some chips ... moreand some staining. There are marks here and there. The gold paint has worn in areas. There is some paint wear here and there. Overall. It's in really good shape for its age. What a fun decorator item! Vintage Ceramic Ironstone Chamber Pot or Planter with Scalloped Desig n- Not Marked( flowers not included! Pre-owned vintage chamber pot(could be used as a planter too) found at an estate sale in good used condition. This weighty piece(over 3 1/2 lbs. is ceramic. I believe it would be considered ironstone. The creamy off white glossy finish shows crazing. One of the crazing veins has discoloration and appears in the pi cs as if it is a crack- it is not a crack. There is an area on the rim where the finish is a little bumpy and discolored(see pics) There are no cracks but there are some fleabites. About 3 of them that I see(see pics) There is a very light stain or finish discoloration on the inside side. see pic) There is a nice raised scalloped decoration all around the piece. Used to keep the waste water from splashing out of the bucket when you went to empty it. These are hard to find because they were easily broken. I'm not even sure. If there is interest in this Ironstone Chamber Pot by Anthony Shaw and Sons, England. It is damaged but would still look good on shelf. 5 1/2 inch high and 9 1/2 inch wide. Handle has been glued back on on two different places, one bigger chip on outside lid and a hairline, which is going through on both sides. Please look at all pictures. VINTAGE 1880-1891 J H DAVIS SYLVAN IRONSTONE CHAMBER POT W/LID soup pot??
This measures 9 1/2" in diameter without the handle and 8" tall. It is signed J. H. Davis Sylvan. It is in very good condition for a piece dating back to 1880-1891. It has no chips on the bowl itself but does shows wear on the bottom of the bowl. There is also a slight surface crack on the outside that appears to be on the glaze as it does not go into the bowl itself. The lid is in great shape except for a chip on the surface. It has various signatures on the bottom including a raised box with numbers that are very hard to read. It looks like R? N 702? Please look at the pictures. Sorry the dollar bill is not included! Very nice subtle decoration to the handle. Has some early imperfections(one on handle, stained black from age) and some possible manufacturers misses but otherwise good used condition with only surface imperfections commensurate with pieces of this age and use. A great piece for reuse and repurposing. Makes a fantastic planter or container for cooking utensils when one isn't enough. This measures 9" across with an opening of 7.25" and is 5.5" tall. Old ironstone slop pot/bucket with lid bail wood handle American vintage antique
Unmarked white/ivory ironstone slop pot/bucket with matching lid. Which I believe is an old, original American item dating to the 1800s. Stands 12" to top of knob on lid. Without lid. Pail is 9.5" tall. 9" widest diameter. Weighs almost 9 pounds as it sits. There is one hairline I see that goes over the top of the body. On the outside. It goes straight for about 2" then 2" more to one side. I only measured about 2.25" of the hairline long on the inside. The lip of the lid that fits into the body has one piece glued back and some other nicks/chips that don't show when the lid is on. There are pocks that were probably there since this was made. Vintage white ironstone bed pan turned elegant potpourri vessel
Mother. This one's for you. This is an insanely clean(sanitized for your protection! old china bed pan with a duck headpiece that started life as a salt shaker. It is the work of my beloved late mother. Who appreciated beauty when she came across it and could make her own when necessary. The bed pan is backstamped Iron Stone China and shows a little wear(crazing, etc. as might be expected for a useful item of its vintage. The duck head has some dings and hairline cracks and is affixed only temporarily with tape, which is concealed by the stylish antique kerchiefs shown in the photos. Old ironstone embossed white lid only chamber slop pot bucket vintage antique
I have a lid only that was probably for a chamber or slop pot. White on white old embossed ironstone or china. 9" diameter. 1.75" high; 2.5" high to top of knob. Measuring on the outside of the rim at the bottom of the angle. The widest is about 8" diameter. Measuring inside of the raised rim is about 7" diameter. I find no chips. Cracks, chips or really any crazing. Some teeny inclusions and pocks normally seen in this old stoneware. I've tried to show the embossed pattern around the handle. Which is about 4.5" diameter. The outer edge of the lid has 4. Approximately 2" sections of scallops that have a curlicue of embossing at each end. Hard to photograph.
