This listing is for a Victorian Chamber Pot ~ an especially attractive one with a delicate blue floral decoration. Embossed design and gold trim on both the base and the lid! The base decoration has some fading. The lid is brighter in color probably as the base was washed frequently and the lid was not! Also, the underside of the lid has some discoloration on one side that you can see in the picture. The base and lid measure 8 1/2" in diameter; 10 1/4" including the handle. It stands 8" tall. The china is in very good condition; no cracks. Chips, or repairs- there is some crazing on the surface and base as shown. It has some slight staining inside and a few small spots on the outside, as well as some scuffing wear to the bottom, where it has been set on a surface. Otherwise excellent. This pot is a pure white. Adorned on the front and back with a design of roses, rosebuds and leaves in blue, very pretty. There is also a raised filigree pattern all around the top rim and around the base, as well as beautiful detailing on the handle. These old pots make wonderful decorative pieces now. UNMARKED VICTORIAN ENGLISH DELFT BLUE AND WHITE CHAMBER POT
This tin-glazed pottery item is of conventional form. It is simply but boldly decorated with stylized flowers. Fruits and leafy scrolls. The rim opens to a flat level edge decorated with a repeated floral design that goes around in a circle. This chamber pot resembles the"Captain Basil Hall Chamber pot" in design and decoration. It is unmarked but is possibly from the late 1800's. Seller advises further research. The rim feels"rough" in some places where the glaze has been rubbed off or has sustained some tiny chipping. The pot is in very good to excellent condition considering its age. The opening is 7 3/4" across; the lip is 23 3/4 around; the pot is 8 1/2" high.

1890s ANTIQUE VICTORIAN White Goodwin's Ironstone Iron Stone China CHAMBER POT
This is a beautiful antique white ironstone piece. It is quite decorative. And would complement a variety of decorating styles and color schemes used as a planter or however you choose. Black back stamp says GOODWIN'S IRON STONE CHINA 1844 with a shield, banner, and two winged creatures(dragons perhaps) This mark was used by Goodwin Pottery Co. of East Liverpool, Ohio, between 1893 and 1906. Approximate measurements of the chamber pot are 5 1/2 inches tall x 8 3/4 inches wide, not including the handle. This is a heavy piece. It has no chips or cracks. There is wear in the glaze(most noticeable on the rim) And tiny discolored spots. Crazing is visible on the underside. On the inside there are scratches in the glaze, mostly visible on the bottom. A lovely white. Ironstone lid, probably from a chamber pot, but could be used elsewhere. The overall dimensions are 7.75" wide by 3.5" high including handle. The measurement of the lip, which must fit inside your vessel is 6.75" and it projects down about 1/2" The condition is pretty good(of course. See pictures) There is one tiny hairline visible in the last picture and only on the inside. I'm not sure about the other mark, it could be a flake, but it could have been there from the beginning.
