Johnson Brothers Bros. White Chamber Pot w Lid Approx. 8" tall with matching lid and 8 3/4" diameter. All white with a raised leafy scroll pattern. I believe the backstamp dates this from 1883 to 1913. Stamped in green on the bottom with Royal Ironstone China Johnson Bros England and Honi Soit Qui Maly Fense in an oval with a crown above it and a lion and unicorn on either side. Fantastic condition. Just some rough spots or shallow chips on the bottom of the pot and a chip on kiln spot on the underside edge of the lid- see pictures. VERY NICE VINTAGE CHAMBER POT! JOHNSON BROTHERS! MADE IN ENGLAND! WITH LID! NICE BLUE FLOWER AND STEM DESIGN! This is a vintage chamber pot that was made by Johnson Brothers in England. It is the Royal Ironstone series and is made of porcelain and heavy! It comes complete with the lid. It's a great piece! The chamber pot measures 9 inches tall and 11 1/2 inches wide. It has an interesting handle and knob on top of the lid. The floral design is on both sides and extends to the lid. It looks like it had gold paint along the edge. I like how the porcelain is shaped along the top and bottom of the pot and on the lid. It's a beautifully made piece! The chamber pot is in good condition. The design has endured well for its age. The colors are good. There are some chips along the edge of the lid. Inside the lid you can also see some chips ... moreand some staining. There are marks here and there. The gold paint has worn in areas. There is some paint wear here and there. Overall. It's in really good shape for its age. What a fun decorator item! THE UNKNOWN PATTERN FEATURES TWO CIRCULAR BANDS OF PINK ROSES AND DAISIES WITH SCALLOPED RIMS AND GOLD TRIM. THERE IS PLENTY OF SMALL CRAZING THAT COVERS THE SURFACES. THE CONDITION IS GOOD/VERY GOOD FOR THE AGE AND ONE PLATE HAS A SMALL FLAKE/CHIP ON THE BACK AND HALF OF THE RIM. IT DOESN'T SHOW FROM THE FRONT. THERE ARE GLAZE DIPS FROM AGE. Lovely Antique White Ironstone Chamber Pot & Lid Johnson Brothers England
This auction is for a Lovely Antique White Ironstone Chamber Pot and Lid made by Johnson Brothers of England. It is in Very Good condition. Especially for its age, which dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s. There are no chips or cracks or stains or crazing or repairs in the bowl or the lid. The glaze is clear and white is white. There is a very minor grayish/silver"scuff" or lines in the top of the lid(last photo) It doesn't detract from the overall appeal of this Great Find. I am not certain of the pattern but the lid has a neatly scalloped edge. The piece measures 7 1/2 inches tall. With the lid, and 10 1/2 inches wide, including the handle. It has the Johnson Bros. ANTIQUE JOHNSON BROTHERS ~HUGE~ CHAMBER POT W/LID WASH BASIN FLORAL GOLD TRIM
This is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL Johnson Brothers set. The rare two-handled pot is in wonderful vintage condition with the normal crazing as a result of age. Both pieces have beautiful pink and green flowers and gold trim. The lid does have a chip that can't be seen while in place. The pot also has a small crack around rim. see pics) no chips but does have some minor stains throughout as well. The bowl shows some wear underneath with some crazing and fleabites. The bowl also has what appears to be a rust stain inside, it's captured in the pictures. This set is oversized so I have to charge a bit more for shipping. This will be professionally packed and shipped via UPS. I want to make sure that after all these years this set arrives safely!
