There is one small chip on the base ring(see last picture) No other chips or cracks. I did clean this with soap and a soft cloth, I was afraid to use anything abrasive but it does still need some cleaning inside. Nice and clean on the outside. Measures 8 1/2" in diameter, 5" tall. The makers mark underneath is the royal arms surmounted by the words ROYAL PATENT IRONSTONE and beneath. These gorgeous pieces of Royal Vitreous were made by John Maddock and Sons. In England, circa 1860. The pattern is POPPY. The background is white with a lot of gold, and the poppies in bright deep blue. The ewer is 11 inches tall. And measures 9 1/2 inches from the edge of the handle to the tip of the spout. The top opening is 5 1/2 inches in diameter. The widest part of the body measures 7 1/2 inches. Trimmed in gold at the upper edges. The chamber pot. I got this antique ironstone chamber pot from an estate sale in Ohio. This was quite dirty and I cleaned it up some. It had a note taped inside that I will send along with it. It tells who it belonged to and has it dated 1824. One side of the pot has some black stains that look like mildew. It isn't pitted. So it's possible this may come out with further cleaning. For your consideration we have a very Rare piece of Royal Doulton. This is a porcelain Footbath from the Victorian Era. It is all hand painted at the Doulton Burslem Art Pottery Studio's. Every flower back and front is outlined in heavy gold. The edge like many Victorian pieces of this elegance is decorated and gilded even on the underside top edge. The bottom bares the mark of Doulton Burslem from before 1901. The Footbath measures 21" long by 8 1/2" tall by 13 1/2" across in width. The large handled porcelain vessel is undamaged with no chips. Cracks nor restoration. Simply amazing for a used item of its kind. This piece has been treasured spaning two centuries and kept in pristine condition. It is also deeply accented around the top and the lid with sponge marks and shadows of Gold. This is all original. The bottom is marked Royal Ironstone Warranted and has the lion/unicorn mark. The inside is supreme for the age and the lid is fine too. The only damage are a couple minimal chips on the rim of the base. Take a close look at the photos. This is a rare one!

Condition: Condition varies slightly between piece but overall very good vintage condition. There is some crazing particularly on the towel holder and soap dish pieces with the holes and chamber pot. Towel holder also has a bit of discoloration. Toothbrush holder has a chip on the rim. Pitcher is in excellent shape. Free of any chips or cracks, just a bit of wear to the gold painted rim. Wash bowl has some wear to the gilded edge as well and some crazing as well. Chamber pot has a repair on the rim, about an inch x 3/4" triangular shaped piece that has bee repairs back in. Some areas of discoloration as well inside and some scuffing on the bottom. Some general signs of light wear from age, use and storage and some scuffing on the bottom rims. Antique white chamber pot made in the late 1800's Very nice condition for its age! Bowl measures 8 1/2 inches in diameter and 5 1/4 inches tall Handle extends out another 2 inches and is approx. 4 inches tall Marked ROYAL IRONSTONE CHINA with the stamp of the lion. Crown and unicorn, with CHARLES MEAKIN ENGLAND under it. This printed mark was used on the earliest pottery made at the Burslem Works location. From 1870 to 1882. There are a few expected minor anomalies inherent with hand-made pottery. The inside is quite clean. Close inspection reveals very minor scratches on the bottom from use over 130 years ago. The glazing on the exterior is very nice There are no chips on the top edge. As shown in the photos. There is a very small crack at the top right side of the handle that appears to have been glued, possibly prior to glazing. This ... moreis not very obvious to the eye when on display, and in my opinion it is a minor visual issue. I have tried to be as complete as possible in my description. But I'm not an antique expert and have assessed this chamber pot based on the research I have done. Please look carefully at the photos. As they are part of the description. This listing is for a Vintage Chamber Pot. I believe it is China.but I do not know for sure. On the bottom of the chamber pot it says- ROYAL- V.B. This is a nice white color.it is quite plain. But does have some raised decorations on the bottom and also the lid. This is in very good age appropriate condition.with one noticeable minor issue of a crack that appears to be superficial. I do not feel any chips or flea bites on any of the edged of the bottom or the lid. There also is age-appropriate crazing.but certainly not a distraction. This vintage pot measures about 10 1/4" across including the handle and about 7 inches high including the looped handle on the lid. This item is from my husband's parents and my husband is 85 years old. This is very heavy.a lovely decorative. Useful and collectible item.

Antique Chamber Pot w/Lovely Flowers Hallmarked BOOTH'S Royal Semi-Porcelain
DESCRIPTION: I’m offering today an Antique Victorian Chamber Pot with Lovely Flowers Hallmarked Booth's. This large size Victorian Chamber Pot is from my personal collection. I've collected Chamber Pots for many years and love all the different patterns and designs from the Victorian era. This particular Chamber Pot is ivory or cream color with soft pastel flowers flowing around the circumference of the large bowl. The shades of the flowers are in pinks. Lavender, pale yellow, blue with a small amount of red and of course, lovely stems and leaves in muted green shade. The bulbous pot has embossed indentures giving the bowl a scalloped look. Under the top edge of the rim of the pot are embossed floral designs within the semi-porcelain bowl. The ornately curled handle for carrying from one area to another is embossed with lovely floral ... moredesign as well. The inside of the bowl is cream or ivory color with no decoration. The semi-porcelain is very thick and heavy for durability. It has debris in the bottom of the bowl which was fired into the semi-porcelain back in the 1800's. This was a common occurrence for the era. The bottom underside of the large chamber pot is hallmarked: BOOTH'S with a crown above and below that. Royal Semi-Porcelain. I use my chamber pots for many different items. I put them in the ladies room for magazines; simply roll the magazine and you can place many within the bowl. I put extra toilet paper rolls and sit the chamber pot beside the toilet or on an antique table in the restroom. I put hair products; which stand nicely within the confines of the bowl. It's also great to have in the hallway to store your keys when you come in the door. So many uses for this wonderful item from the Victorian era. Antique Victorian Alfred Meakin England Royal Ironstone China Chamber Pot
This very nice Victorian chamber pot is an English classic as it was part of every home in England during the Victorian period and until modern sewage systems introduced the flush toiled around 1900. This pot may also have been brought to the US during this same period and used as well. It is made from Ironstone with a fine high gloss finish and has a beautiful transparency to it(pictured#1. 2, 4) The under glaze is white and the over glaze is very thick making it transparent looking. It has some vertical lines around it giving it style and a broad serif handle(pictured# 3) It has a raised, curled rim around the top as these pots were used to catch poddie and were usually kept in a wooden commode uncovered. Covered commodes were often much more ornate and sometimes painted with colored glazes and floral patterns these were kept outside of ... morea commode most often in the bedroom near wash stands. Antique Royal Doulton Briar Rose Slop Pail / Chamber Pot w/ Old Staple Repair
You are bidding on an antique Royal Doulton slop pail which measures 11" T X 12" W and is in very good condition. There is a crack around the left handle which has an old staple repair. And some of the wrapped bamboo? handle is missing. I took this to my restorer, and he said that the old repair was very sturdy, but he did clean out the interior and spray it with a silicone for that extra strength. There are no other cracks, chips, or hairlines.

Made by Maddocks Lamberton Works, per the factory mark on the bottom(in Trenton, NJ, circa 1893-1900) This one-handled beauty measures 9 inches in diameter- 10 1/2 inches wide including the handle- and 5 1/2 inches high. No chips, cracks, crazing, or damage of any kind. You will see minor manufacturing flaws: specks of blue occasionally on the exterior and interior white porcelain, and a few glaze blisters on the interior bottom. Presented for your consideration this antique white ironstone chamber pot with lid. It has a simple ornate design on the top and side handles and a simple panel motif around the outside. It was made in England by Alfred Meakin as part of the Royal Ironstone Pottery line. It measures 7-1/4" tall including the lid and 10-1/2" across including the handle. It is 9-1/2" in diameter, not including the handle. It is in excellent antique condition, no cracks, chips or repairs. I did find a few yellowish spots on the bottom of the outside, see close up last photo. Your pot will be shipped either USPS or UPS Ground, whichever you choose. Royal Ironstone China Chamber Pot from Alfred Meakin antique English utility ware in very nice condition Welcome to Simpler Times Antiques! Here for you today we're pleased to offer this antique English ironstone china chamber pot from the kilns of Alfred Meakin of Hanley. England. Our pot is white in color with no applied decoration. It stands some 5" tall at its rim and measures about 9" in overall diameter not including its generously sized ear shaped handle. This piece surfaced at a recent estate auction where the auctioneer jokingly called it"your next favorite ice cream bowl" being embarrassed to name it for what it is. Your humble eBay seller simply could not resist. The pot has Meakin's Royal Ironstone ... moreChina lion and unicorn mark on its bottom dating it as having probably been made between about 1897 and 1914. It likely was once one piece of a complete chamber set that would have included washbowl with matching pitcher. Hot water jug, and possibly a toothbrush holder. The pot also would have had a lid originally, but alas, that has been lost to the ages. We have looked this item over carefully and found it to be in good antique and used condition. It's damage free having no chips. Cracks, or repairs. We found no crazing of glaze. You will note that the interior surface suffers some stain, discoloration, and residue that's probably commensurate with age and typical use. There are a few scratches and scuffs of the glaze on the exterior surface where the pot has been banged about a bit, but none that would be considered objectionable or offensive. The glaze is well applied, but does exhibit a few of the typical pops and inclusions common to such pottery as this. Taken altogether it's a good looking piece of antique ironstone utility ware that shows well. It has great potential as a planter or simply as a decorative accessory in the right room. From Johnson Bros. England, this is a lovely lidded white chamber pot made of Royal Ironstone China. The lid has a scalloped edge on opposite sides and measures 9-1/ in diameter. The pot has a nicely shaped and detailed handle with embossed vertical lines on the bottom half. It measures 10" wide with the handle and 5-1/18" high. Overall height with the lid on is approx 7-1/4" In excellent condition with no cracks. Chips or crazing. Excess piece of porcelain under the glaze and a drip that occurred in production on the bottom edge. Please use the Zoom feature to check out the details. Don't hesitate to ask questions ASAP!
