Hartmann Travel Wardrobe Trunk Gibralterized Art Deco Steamer
A 1920s Hartmann wardrobe trunk with a great Art Deco interior. It is in good condition overall. And the interior is in very good, clean condition. The canvas covers look perfect, and both covers snap properly. The drawer handles are a particularly nice Deco design. The exterior shows some wear and staining appropriate for its age, no major damage. I didn't try cleaning the Gibralterized shell, but it may clean up somewhat. All of the metal corners and hinges, and the tack reinforced edges are in good shape with no breaks. The lock has been removed but the hinge is intact, and ready for a new one. This measures 23 inches by 23 inches by 41 inches. Standing with the lid up the height is 4 feet.

Vintage 1900 s Winship Wardrobe Steamer Trunk Utica, NY Made in the USA
Up for bid is a W W Winship and Sons Extra Quality wardrobe trunk. It is very rare. This has 2 doors that open and is made to sit in a corner and have access to all of the trunk. It has 4 different style hangers and a total of 7 hangers, all wooden. In the hanging compartment when the trunk is open the rods that hold the hanger extend out of the trunk for more room. The drawers are all functional, the top drawer has dividers in it, the bottom drawer is a 2 drawer compartment with straps in the bottom. The handle on the top is still together and solid but is worn. The inside has some spots but the material is in fair to good condition considering its age. The outside has scuffs and wear but has held up well. I will crate for shipping.

RARE Vintage C.A.Taylor Works of Chicago XX Professional Wardrobe Trunk
This trunk is a rare find especially in the great condition that it is in. This is Taylor's XX Professional model steamer trunk designed for long trips overseas. The trunk is meant to be stood on end when carrying it and when positioning it once at a destination. It measures 47" tall. 23" wide, and 27" deep. The right side has a drawer on the bottom, to extendable rods, and will soon have wooden hangers. The left side has four drawers the top drawer designed with compartments. EVERYTHING is original! All of the brass fittings, drawer pulls, and lock. The outside is made with vulcanized fiber which does show signs of age and wear. All of the interior fabric is original and is clean and in good condition. A vintage Hartmann wardrobe trunk with a classic Deco interior. It is in good condition overall. And the interior is in excellent, clean condition. It is equipped with a velvet cushion lid, four nice hangers on chrome rails, and a beautiful chest of four drawers with classic Art Deco handles. The canvas suit and shoe covers look perfect. And both snap properly. The exterior shows a few scratches and stains commensurate with age. Nothing major. All of the metal corners, reinforced edges, and hinges are in good shape with no damage. The lock has been removed but the hinge is intact. This measures 23 inches by 23 inches by 41 inches. The height is 4 feet with the lid up.

Antique Wardrobe or Traveling Wardrobe Trunk. Circa 1900s-1930s in excellent condition. American company, Lutz& Company of Washington, DC. Opens to wardrobe on left and drawers on right. On lower left is a case for shoes or other accessories. Top right drawer is divided into 3 sections with a lock(don't have the key) Bottom drawer is a hat drawer. There are 5 long hangers and 2 short hangers. There is an horizontal presser bar to hold items in place. Hangers are on chrome rods that telescope out, allowing the clothing to not be pressed so tightly when trunk is open. There is a Locking Bar on the right to hold the drawers closed while in transit. When on end, the top, which opens upward, is slightly domed. Leather handle on right end is no longer functional. All metal hardware is in place and the outside lock has a functional KEY. ... moreThe outside seems to be made of wood, which has some cracking, mostly the right domed end(see photo) The stains on the outside come out for a brief time with oiling. Would be beautiful if redone. Item has been used for the last 35 years as storage or as furniture. Whittle Trunk& Bag Company EST 1880. Mfg. in Knoxville Tn. The Cedarobe line. Wardrobe steamer trunk. I don't know much more about this trunk but for its age it is in really good condition. The key is with it. All drawers are 100% cedar and have cloth tie down straps inside, which look like they have never been untied. Incredible antique Dependo(Petersburg. VA) steamer wardrobe trunk in very good condition considering its age. The lock is no longer there, and one rivet is missing from one of the brass clasps next to the lock, but otherwise it's in great shape and fully functional. The trunk measures approximately 42 x 23 x 22 inches on the outside. And weights about 95 pounds. Opens standing up and has one side with a hanging wardrobe. We r open Wednesday through Sunday 12-5 on Sunday's 10-6 min. Fri, sat. 10-8 Thursday's This is a prize find for sure! A rare 1910 Louis Vuitton Wardrobe steamer trunk! Complete with five canvas drawers four of which have linen straps with brass closures marked Louis Vuitton. The drawers are all in great shape for over 100 years! Though there is some damage on a few spots on the linen wrapped drawers this would be expected being over 100 years old and well used. The top is padded and silk lined with the 1910 Louis Vuitton label and that of John Wanamaker. I have included below the historical info on both and how they came to work together. The silk has ... moresome stains and some missing ribbon but most is intact please see photos. This trunk is large and heavy so it will need to ship freight. It has. At some point, been stained over with a light oak stain so the iconic LV design is visible in soft light and day light but fluorescent lights mask it. black light also shows it. I have been told acetone with safely remove the stain if done carefully but I do not wish to do this I believe a professional could restore it. it truly looks awesome to me as it gives it a traveled look. It has brass fittings and handles which by themselves are amazing. These Louis trunks are so high end and so well made its amazing. Each handle says Louis Vuitton Paris made in France. The latches have the LV and each studd, though most are worn also Louis Vuitton. The silk is there but has some areas of dirt and some damage near the Wanamaker Label the silk is intact in that area it just needs to be re stretched please refer to the photos. The leather edges are in good shape but has three prominent areas of damage please see photos and please ask for more if needed. This is a very sturdy luggage quality wardrobe trunk complete with wooden hangers. A silk liner, and drawers. The item has been well used, so it has natural wear and tear. Everything is fully functioning, and the leather handle is in good condition. The key is missing, and the trunk does lock. The trunk is currently open and a simple wedge in the lock would prevent it from re-locking. The shipping tags on the top are somewhat readable. And one has a shipping date of 9/10/29. The trunk must predate that, but I don't know the actual manufacturing year.

Woven textured exterior with oak or wood trim and leather handles. There are brass or metal sections and a heavy rubber material around the edges. The latches are working, but there is not a key. It opens to 4 drawers on one side and a section for hanging clothes on the other. It is fabric lined-lining shows wear. It measures 43 3/4" long, 22 1/4" wide, and 20 1/4" tall. Vintage 1920's Hartmann Wardrobe Travel Trunk with Yale Key- Beautiful Condition
It's rare to find a vintage 1920's Hartmann wardrobe travel steamer trunk with its Yale key in this condition. All of the buckles and hardware on this piece are in working order. It comes with 2 straight bar hangers; 2 specialty hangers; and 5 coat/shirt/dress hangers. It has the original wood and metal bars that would have kept clothes tight and flat. The clothes bar extends 18" to pull clothes out for easy access. The trunk has three small drawers with cloth tie-downs and one large drawer with the original hanging hat keeper. There is some slight fraying of the cloth on the drawers from use but no large tears. The interior lid still retains its original blue velvet liner- still in beautiful condition with no tears or frays. The leather handle is stamped: 360 3" and the leather is in great condition. Large Louis Vuitton Vuittonite orange wardrobe malle trunk 1920's
I read in some book that this color was created especially for a Russian event in the early 1900's. Of course. Don't remember the book or other information. Perhaps someone will enlighten me now. This trunk is massively heavy and is about 22 by 22 by 44 inches. It is missing it's interior fittings. I suppose that that can be remedied by the magic hands at the Louis workshop. I will Skype with any interested buyer. Ask questions. Trunk will be shipped blanket wrapped and cost will be determined by location. This listing is for a wonderful. Rare Hartmann Gibraltarized wardrobe trunk from the 1920s/1930s. This one has some really nice and interesting features. It does not come with the key. The drawers are all intact and include tie-down ribbons. The wardrobe side contains not only the usual wooden hangers and presser bar but two folding hangers. Many of these did not survive and they are very hard to find. The bottom of the wardrobe is finished off with a shoe section and a privacy/dust curtain that snaps at the bottom. THIS IS MY VINTAGE STEAMER TRUNK FOR SALE Let me tell you about it. Its HUGE! 3 feet 5 inches tall. And 2 foot square. Made by"EVERWARE" Trunks. Newark NJ. And made With"Guaranteed Hard Vulcanized Fibre" Its is a dark green. The pulls in side are steel the locks and hardware on the out side are brass, the brass is alittle rusted and very tarnished. There are some traveling stickers on it but are all modern. I do have a Key for the large outside lock. And the not pictured bar lock that keep the drawers from falling out. I did add some small plastic ledges under the drawers, to make them able to pull out. One of the 15 hangers are original the rest are reproductions. The bars the cloths hangers hang out pulls out, this extends the bars to a full foot, and the top flips open. The Other side of the trunk has 4 drawers. First ... moreon top is 10" X 4" has a 1/3 divider. The Second Drawer. Is 9 inches deep 10 inches from front to back The 3rd Drawer. Is is 9 inches deep 10 inches front to back The 4th Drawer is 15 inches deep and 10 inches front to back has 1/3 divider. Again the condition is not great but at this point its 100 years old smells alittle musty rusty around the edges. But this is a one of a kind trunk. i used it for many years and kept everything i ever needed inside it, as i dragged this 150 + pound thing across the USA, you should do the same.
