Lot of 4 Ceramic Vintage Character Toby Pitchers / Mug Made in Japan
I have listed 3 Toby pitchers and 1 Toby mug gotten from an estate auction. If you can't tell from the pictures the winking man is the mug as it does not have a spout. I posted pictures of the bottom inscriptions. One was Made in Japan PY and the other 3 have the Ucagco Logo with Made in Japan. To my eye they seem to be in in great condition but please view the pictures in a close-up zoom so you can judge for yourself. I see no cracks or chips. I can tell that some lip coloring has rubbed off on each.

The colors are vibrant, and the insides of the pitchers are white and clean. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. There are some slight marks which may have been done in the manufacture as they seem to be under the glaze. The cream pitcher measures 3 1/2” tall and 4 1/2” from spout to end of the handle. From a family member's estate a pair of vintage china Creamers from the Coronado Hotel in St. Louis. MO. These are beautiful high quality pieces in near new condition. The small individual creamer is about 2 3/4" tall and has a 0 impressed on the bottom. The larger table/counter creamer is about 4" tall. The larger has a two hallmarks: large"Fraunfelter China Made Especially for Coronado Hotel St. Louis, MO. Furnished by Albert Pick& Company Chicago" and a smaller green oval Fraunfelter China Chicago Hallmark that is behind the first hallmark. From family history, we know that they date to the 1930s or earlier. Both in near new condition with no chips, cracks or loss of the advertising graphic shields and hotel name banners. This included were willed to her from her 94 year old aunt(who passed 3 years ago) who was born and lived a large portion of her life in Greece before coming to the US. Many of the personal items were from the aunt's mother who my neighbor believes to have been born in the 1880's. I am not claiming this item or any of the items I am listing for her are that old, I am just giving you the history of the family they came from. This auction is for two hand painted items. I am not sure if you would call them vases. Pitchers or urns. They are both stamped KUTAHIA ATHENS HANDMADE GREECE. They are black with white and goldish brown designs. Both ... morehave Greek key emblem designs. One has what looks to be an ancient gladiator bending over to pick up a shield and or helmet with a white design on the back. The other has an ancient dressed woman carrying a pitcher with an ancient dressed gladiator approaching her. She is looking downward as if she is shy. The back is also adorned with a white design. Both are in excellent condition considering their age. They are not chipped or broken. One has some of the felt on the bottom to prevent the pitcher from slipping missing. I think, probably should be bigger. Both pitchers are in very good condition. Ball pitcher does have 2 flaws from production- Look at picture. This is not a rhyme- But both are fine!

Sugar/ Salt Bowl& two sizes cream/ milk pitchers Original set also had an oil carafe which is missing Oil carafe stopper included Some chips and cracks but the set would make a nice addition to a collection I've done some research and I think it's Ucagco because of the foil sticker on the bottom.
