We are pleased to present this beautiful Wardrobe for your consideration. ... moreThe exterior is primarily Birds Eye Maple with areas of decorative veneer. Plus there is a narrow mirror running down much of the center. The interior is lined with Mahogany, and features two areas of different heights for hanging garments, plus one upper shelf for accessories. The piece has some Art Deco features, but dates to the 1940's or 1950's. The Wardrobe measures 74 inches high. 48-1/2 inches wide, and 22 inches deep(which includes the curved surface on the front doors) The piece is in fine shape and ready to be used. There are occasional signs of wear as would be expected on a used piece of furniture. But nothing major. There are some small nail holes near the handles on the front, but they have been filled in with wood filler and are not very noticeable. The interior shelf has contact paper on it which we have left in place. The interior is clean and odor free. We rate the overall condition as very good(see pictures) This is a charming piece of vintage furniture. It will add a substantial amount of closet and storage space to any décor! This is the most curvaceous Mahogany ladies dressing table/ vanity you've ever seen! Styling is regency/ rococo. With cabriolet legs. Piece has 3 small top drawers, and one larger desk drawer. The veneer pattern on many faces of the desk is still vibrant& colorful- it looks like inlay, but it is not. There is some cracking to the large table-top surface, but the other veneer surfaces are intact. There are a few stress cracks in the curving form, but it is structurally sound. Beautiful vintage chest dresser with gorgeous tilt mirror! This dresser is striking! It's made with the dovetailed drawers! A sure sign of high quality! It also has wheels on the bottom for easy moving. It measures 40 W 20 D 36 H The mirror measures 32 1/2 H 38' W at the bottom The wood is a rich cherry color and is believed to be mahogany but not 100% It is in good condition considering it's age. The grain of this wood is so gorgeous it glows. You have to see it in person. Dovetail joints. Batwing drawer pulls. Burled wood used on insides of drawers too. Not just on front.
