It is made out of solid walnut with a formica top and drawer ... morefronts on the top drawers. This dresser is incredibly sturdy and pretty heavy as all Bassett furniture is. Top quality. The mirror is in great shape and mounts securely to the back of the dresser. The drawers work well and are dovetailed. They slide on a metal spacer which is designed to reduce wear to the wood bottoms and reduce friction. The dresser is in excellent condition. There is some damage to the lacquer on the top right corner of the top right drawer. I show a close up of the damage for you. It has great mid century legs. Style and quality.
