Quarter Sawn Red Oak dresser with mirror with solid wood curved front drawers
This is a well built cabinet that I bought and refinished. Everything that I know is original. I cannot see where any repairs have been done of it. I used a Watco Danish Oil finish/stain to refinish it a number of years ago. The drawers are all intact and work. They might be a little dry and could use some wax on the drawer runners. The drawers have locks but there were never any keys for it. The mirror is not broken but shows a little sign of age with a few small flecks that are missing. It also has a beveled edge. The wheels are intact but are not perfectly round but it does roll. It looks a little dry but all it needs is a good coat of Lemon Oil to bring back the finish. I do not see any of the plywood that is peeling or separating. Local pick up only. I forgot to list the size of the dresser. This is for an antique wooden dresser. It is 37 1/2 inches wide 19 1/2 deep and 69 tall. It is in ok condition. I do not know its age or maker. It has nice glass drawer pulls but 1 of the pulls has a broken edge. The mirror is nice beveled and ornate. This does need some work but well worth the money. For sale is an old(antique? dresser with a beveled mirror and curved drawer fronts. The dresser has been sitting around for a while and the top of the dresser is in rough condition. The mirror is also held together and needs to be secured in its frame. I would say this item is more for display than it is for functional use. But it can nonetheless be used. The dresser top is in rough condition but it is a beautiful piece. The feet look like they are hand carved and the drawer fronts are curved as seen in the attached picture.
