The front of the chest has beautiful incised carvings on the drawers and wood escutcheons. This chest is good quality, solid, sturdy and would make a great addition to any Victorian Decor. The Eastlake furniture style as envisioned by its namesake, Charles Lock Eastlake, came about in response to his dislike of the over-the-top Rococo and Renaissance Revival styles popular during the Victorian era. A couple of coats of lacquer could be added to give it a more vibrant look if desired, but I personally like the mellow finish. The dresser has white and gray grained round corner marble top with the insert in the center, raised burl panels on the drawers, big circular buttons on the middle of the large drawers, Victorian tear drop pulls, candle shelves on the mirror, applied carvings, burl panels and a beautifully carved fancy crest. It has the original old mirror showing minor silver wear.

We believe this matching 2 piece set to be all original having the original finish, beveled mirror, hardware and marble. Bed: This beautiful high back bed measures a total height to the top of the head-board is 80 inches( 6 ft 8 in) Height of the foot-board measures 31 inches, height to the flat portion of the fancy side rails measures 15 inches. The outside measurements of the bed are 57 1/2 inches wide by 79 1/2 inches long and the inside mattress area measures 54 1/2 inches wide by 75 inches long and should accommodate a full size mattress set nicely but one should always measure their mattress set to assure proper fit. The dresser offers the same beautiful carvings and details as the bed.The large beveled mirror pivots front to back and we believe this to be the original beveled mirror, and it is in excellent antique condition with only some slight spotting and streaking that's age appropriate and measures 27 inches in height by 33 inches wide. Condition: Used Location: Monroe, United States Vintage 3 piece Kent Coffey Joulon French Provincial Dresser Bed Set 1950-60's You are looking at a very beautiful and well built 3 piece set by Kent ... moreCoffey. This is a French Provincial set made by Kent Coffey. And is believed to be late 50's to 60's. It is very intricate as you can see in its craftsmanship. Two of the pieces are very large in nature, and have sustained a little wear over the years. By the age of these pieces they are in great shape. A few cosmetic touch ups could be needed, but as you see you get the Long which as you can see accomodates 12 Drawers. The top drawer does bear the Kent Coffey mark in it as well, on both pieces. It is very intricate as well as ornate with a nice light Ivory through beige and gold color tones. The pictures you see are of the exact one. On the rear of the itmes it is listed Golden Cherry Bisque, and from inquiry about this particular item, is a rarer set by him. This particular dresser and chest as well as the bed, I have not found any other of these. The second item is a larger tall chest which has four larger drawers in the base. The top drawer of that does have the classic luxury separator design in it. The top folds open to reveal the two larger pull out drawers. The front doors on this have this beautiful crosswire design on it. These two items do have some moving scuffs on them hear and there, but nothing major, or that some touch up wouldn't take care of. The shear architectural carpentry of these items are something to behold. To top it off, it comes with a beautiful bed frame that accomodates a Full size bed measuring 54"x75" The bed is functional and has these additional wood supports so will support nicely. The exteriror of the side pieces doe show where screws have been put through to sturdy up the rails. This is an excellent collection of these pieces. As you can see from the pictures there are some scuffs, and a nice cleaning would help as well. These items are only available for pickup, as the bigger items are extremely heavy,
