We know the light wood is pecan and believe the darker wood is mahogany from Honduras. Each unit measures approximately 48" wide. 72" high and 24" deep. They both are the same size, it is the wall behind them that is uneven. The unit on the left has built in drawers and small mirror on door, the unit on right has large mirror and shelving with contact paper that was installed at a later date. The poles for hanging clothes are still on top. There are two keys, one for each unit. The bottom four drawers have key holes and lock as well. It was part of their bedroom set, but for the past few years have been stored in the basement. There is some discoloration and peeling issues that have been photographed. There is also adhesive residue where someone taped them during a move. Still a great solid well made set. They are available for pick up only at Manomet Point in Plymouth Massachusetts. We live in Uxbridge MA, therefore will have to make an appointment with the buyer to meet for pick up. Hopefully a nice day.the condo overlooks the beach! Another great find from my warehouse clean out! This is a piece of furniture I have trouble describing. I honestly don't know if its considered a dresser. Cabinet, chest of drawers, etc, etc. As far as I can tell its a very old piece of medical furniture. Sometimes called Apothecary furniture? Can you tell furniture is not my area of expertise? It may be vintage or antique, I don't know. It's built very well with all nails except the handles and they are fastened with flat head screws. This came out of a warehouse I'm cleaning out. The warehouse hasn't been opened in more than 20 years and is full of antiques and collectables. It's very, very dusty in here as you can see from the pics. It's very dry though. I see no major damage on this piece at all. There are plenty of marks that make it show its age but nothing ... moreserious at all. It's a very solid piece. It has 15 drawers. The top 11 are 2 3/8" tall on the face. The bottom four are 5 1/4" tall. The overall size is 61 1/2" tall, 22" wide and 16 1/4" deep. All the drawers are sectioned off with wood dividers that are removable. Some dividers are missing, some are broken but most are there and in good shape. I have this auction set for no shipping, local pickup only. If you want this shipped you must contact me before bidding. It will need to be shipped through a freight company. The shipping will be your responsibility and you will pay for all the cost associated with shipping it. I will work with the shipping company you choose. Vintage Antique Wood Vanity Dresser Top Or Wall Mount With Mirror & Shelves
Here is a great old mirror/ shelf piece that can be used as a dresser top or stand alone and hung on a wall. I am uncertain as to what type of wood this is. But there are multiple places on the front where the wood has been carved, appears hand carved as there is nothing perfectly identical between the two sides. This piece is fairly large and measures 28 3/4" wide, 27" tall, and just under 5" deep. This piece is in very decent shape for its age, but does have a few condition issues- there are a couple of scratches on the mirror(you can see some of these on the back side, where the mirror was not covered) there is a darker spot/stain in the bottom left hand corner and a wood chip in that corner, The majority of the finish is in nice shape, but there are a few areas where the finish has been worn, and lastly, the piece needs ... moreto be'tightened up' perhaps glued in some areas. While this piece is fully intact, there are multiple seams in the piece where it was put together, and some of these areas are weak and need reinforement. It looks quite old based on looking at the back side. It does have a wire hanger also on the back side. A really unique and great looking vintage piece.
