The leaves on this table easily slide out from underneath the top. Using the leaves increases the size of the table from 36″ to 60″ You can also use just one of the 12″ leaves if needed. The wood used to make this illustrious pub table is solid oak. The oak is heavy and sturdy. It has a dark medium brown color to it which looks great. The richness of the oak and the visual appeal of its grain make this one of the nicest pub tables we have had. The photo taken in the kitchen is the most recent picture of this table. The chairs shown with it are available for free. I think two of them are original, the other two need a lot of tlc. All reasonable offers entertained! We are giving this table an very good condition rating. The patina is lovely. And the wood is solid and sturdy. The glass balls in the feet measure 3 inches across and the legs. At the widest point, about half way up, measures 3 1/4 inches across. This table is not marked. Signed, dated, stamped or otherwise labeled. There is a small dark stain to the table top that measures approx 4inches by 2 inches. A darker spot next to that as well but not sure what that spot is. Both can be seen in the last picture. There are no major chips. Cracks or other issues to any part of the wood. It is possible this is a Louis F Nonnast table made between 1878-1888. I do not know much about this size. Style or age. If you have any information that may be helpful to identifying this piece. I would very much appreciate dropping me a line or two. Local Pick Up is best for this large. Beautiful and well taken care of item. It worries me to ship it as I have seen very few table such as this. However.
