This table retains its original finish and structure. It has has a very high grade restoration replacing the oval end of one of the leafs that dislodged and came loose. The restoration appears to be 80-100 years old and it was done correctly by a trained hand. The only visable evidence is the darker stain match on the repair. We obtained this piece from a party who had spent a considerable sum on having a coat of paint applied in the very early 20th Century removed without gouging the table or disturbing its original finish. Sometime in the 19th Century, after this treasure was pulled out of a Colonial home or a Barn, the hand cut Butterfly fasteners that seam the top boards together fell out from shrinkage. This caused a seperation in the top planks which was addressed by someone inserting 18th Century screws through the top to fasten the boards down but failed to close the seperation correctly. We purchased this table several months ago and have been like expecting parents waiting for our woodworker find ample time to perform the museum grade restorations(while we are constantly interrupting him with emergency repairs) by re-installing hand cut butterfly fasteners(called"Ducthmens" in the restoration trade) and then cured the screwing of the top by the installation of walnut dowels which now fasten the top in addition to the original period screws that come up through the table's interior frame box. The end result that appears in these pictures is after the investment of over 14 hours from our conservation wood working expert& twice that

This splendid 19th century dining table features a solid walnut top. Conforming table apron, substantial tapered fluted blocked legs with a fine carved curved stretcher on both ends, fluted tapered blocked center legs with the original casters intact on all the legs. This dining table extends to 10 ft inch 1 long and would accommodate many more leaves but only 3 original leaves come with the table. This dining table opens and closes with ease and is solid and tight. The table measures 29 3/4 inches in height. With a skirt height to the floor of 26 inches, and measures 46 inches wide by 51 3/4 inches long without any leaves in place. This table weighs approximately 110 ... morelbs alone and the additional 3 leaves weigh approximately 15 lbs total. Additional measurements: table with 1 leaf in place 46" X 63 with 2 leaves in place 46" X 74 1/2" with 3 leaves in place 46" X 85" But the table will extend out to 10 ft 1 inch(121 inches) allowing it to accommodate several more leaves if one desires to have additional leaves made for the table. This splendid 19th century dining table features beautiful spoon carvings.Ring turned spindles, layered finials and the original casters intact on all the legs. This dining table extends to 12 ft 3 inches long and would accommodate many more leaves but only the 3 original leaves come with the table. This dining table opens and closes with ease and is solid and tight. The table measures 30 inches in height. With a skirt height to the floor of 26 inches, and measures 46 inches wide by 52 inches long without any leaves in place. This table weighs approximately 100 lbs alone and the additional 3 leaves weigh approximately 15 lbs total. Additional measurements: table with 1 leaf in place 46" X 63 with 2 leaves in place 46" X 74" ... morewith 3 leaves in place 46" X 85" But the table will extend out to 12 ft 3 inches allowing it to accommodate several more leaves if one desires to have additional leaves made for the table. This 19th century dining table is in wonderful antique condition but the top does have a wide scratch on one end which I have shown in the pictures. The three original leaves do have scratches and wear. Vintage Bevan Funnell Reprodux Burled Walnut Drop Leap Table with Drawer and Brass Leg Ends Made in England Here is a beautiful vintage drop leaf table for your buying consideration. From the label. It was probably made in the late 1960s. Recently picked this table up at an auction. The top of the table has that great burled walnut look to it. I am not certain if made of walnut or actually mahogany. So you be the judge of the wood type. The table has a dovetailed drawer on one side and then just a pull knob on the other side to give the table a uniform look. Brass like looking ends on the table legs and then check the wheels that are still on the table legs! The wood finish is in good condition. I see no splits cracks or repairs in the wood to report to you. The table certainly has personality marks from being almost 50 years old. But nothing ... morethat detracts, and in my opinion adds to the look of the piece. The lower spindle piece that goes horizontally to the two pieces coming down from the top of the table is loose on one side and needs some wood glue attention. A label inside the drawer says, Bevan Funnell Ltd. Reprodux, New Haven England" Also had"Made in England" emblazoned into the wood bottom. The table is 20.75" tall. By 18.75" across, by 14.75" wide. Antique One-Drawer Walnut? Table-c. Mid-Late 1800s?
Offered is this beautiful antique wooden table with one drawer. It stands approx. 30 1/4" high. The top is rectangular. Almost square, with rounded corners and measures approx. 19 1/2" wide by 19 1/4" deep. I believe the table is made of walnut but I am not sure of that. The drawer front is approx. 14 1/2" x 3 1/2" It has the original built-in lock which would probably still work but the key has been lost. The latching mechanism still moves up and down to fit into the notch in the frame above the drawer. The table is in very good condition. It has acquired a few minor"dings" over the years and the top has some shallow marks in the wood but these are not very noticeable. There is a line all the way across the top– I am not sure if it is a seam where two pieces of wood were put together to make the top or ... moreif it is an age crack. In any case the top is solid and well-attached. I believe this is a Southern piece made in the mid to late 1800s but I am not absolutely certain. This listing is for a neat vintage Mid Century Modern apartment size/ Florida Room or kitchen nook drop leaf table. Features a Walnut formica top and metal legs with a brass flashed hairpin support. Made by the Louisville Chair Company. Some wear to the brass on the supports and feet as pictured. Nice. Smaller size table, it measures as follows: Top with leaves down- 23 3/4 x 19 3/4. Each leaf is 8 7/8 wide. Table is standard height. 29 3/4 inches. Needs some cleaning underneath and a little to the top. All we have done is wipe the dust off. For shipping the legs will be removed so the table can ship flat to make shipping affordable; legs are held by a nut& bold. Support will be loosened that is held to the leg with a Phillips screw. Nice oval type shaped walnut table with a woman and spinning wheel carved into table top under a walnut framed glass tray table top tray. It stands on a very fancy base with uniquely carved legs and a center finial X stretcher support. Condition is very good. Looks to date to the early 1900's. Sturdy sound table. Overall dimensions of table top is 24" long by 16" wide standing 19 3/4" tall. The glass top tray measures 21+" by 13 1/2+" and is approx 3/4" thick wood frame. This is the a beautiful piece.
