The wood base is in overall good condition and structurally sound. The varnish and wood does have normal wear for its age. The pedestal legs have a detailed carved design and the center was hand spun on a lathe. Included are two newer marble tops that easily screw on. One measures 12" across and 1/2" thick. The other is 11" across and 3/4" thick with an inset. This one has a few dings on the underside along the outer edge. Nothing major. Here is a beautiful ornately carved antique chinese coffee table with glass top. We believe the wood is teak wood and not rosewood. This table was originally purchased in Germany in the 1950's. It features an intense battle scene on the top of the table and dragon carvings on the sides. It measures about 48" long. 23 1/2" wide and about 18 1/2" tall. The wood under the glass top still shines bright as it has ben protected for years. The glass top does have a few very minor little scuffs as does the table in places but these are minor and do not take away from the beauty of the piece. For sale I have a vintage piece of hand carved hand painted wood furniture. It is a table base in the shape of a bent man who would hold the glass up with his neck. It is missing the glass piece. Cosmetically it is in good condition with some light scratches and minor wear. There are some natural cracks in the wood on the bottom but no chips or cracks elsewhere. The piece is not signed but there are some numbers on the bottom The table measures 38 3/4 inches long 19 1/2 inches wide 18 1/4 inches tall The table is in excellent condition with no cracks. There is a tiny spont of veneer along one edge that is missing and the veneer on the botton of the table has come loose in spots but other than that the table is in excellent condition. This is an elegant federal mahogany game table circa 1880. This is an example of less is best with the simple elegant grace of the minimal but effective corner carvings. Slender but sutible pedestal, and classic carved paw feet. The table has an beautiful crotched mahogany veneer apron on three sides. The back is not veneered. The table is a good size that measures 35 3/4" wide, 17 3/8" deep, and 28 5/8" tall when closed. When open the top is 34 1/4" x 35 3/4" There is an age appropriate split in the base of the table but the base is a 2 3/4" solid piece of wood and the crack is only a surface crack.
