Description: This is an early antique L&JG Stickley library table from the Onondaga Shops period in the early 1900s Mission and Arts& Crafts period in very good condition. The piece appears to be made of ash or chestnut and is extremely heavy and bulky. The top is 1.25" thick and the posts are 3.5" square. The table has unusual form with a lower shelf set high and two keyed through tenons on the sides. There are double pins at the top and bottom and the legs have a nice taper towards the bottom. The apron has a nice slight arch all around. The table is unsigned but is model#379 in the early catalogue. This is a very usable

The table expands and the tray ... morefits in the middle which is great for hosting large parties. Yet it can be closed up when not in use. Plus, it is on wheels and is easy to move around when serving a buffet style meal. The top closed measures 40" x 21" It is 28-1/4" tall. It is in very good condition, but there are some scratches on the top which I have add to the pictures. You can see in the one picture of the complete table top the scratches do not show, but the close up they do. I have not tried to cover them. I will let the lucky new owner of this table fix the marks. I will also be adding a table that folds down and a coffee table that has the serving tray and storage the same as this piece. Have you ever seen a Arts& Crafts Oak base with slag glass in this design? there are plenty of the all oak bases with out slag glass& also the metal arts& crafts Lamps this design have the slag glass base. So if your after the special one, this is for you. everything on this lamp base is Org. except I replaced the wiring& cord. Look at the great metal work on the shade supports& the Original multiple color swirl Slag glass surround by the Org. finish Oak base. This lamp base proudly stands 15" tall& a wing span of 11" for your shade.the arched feet of the base spread across 7 1/2" side to side. This base has not been messed with or taken apart. So I would say It has the Org glass. One side has the similar one on the opposite side ... moreit almost looks light colored(faded)but the wood is not faded& is still dark. So that's why I put a picture of the inside. For viewing all 4 pieces.the only way to change the glass is to completely take apart the base,which if you look at all the bottom corners it shows that it hasn't been taken apart. 2 out of the 4 metal shade holders have a little piece of wood they mount on& are loose. Came loose from age& just need a little glue to secure them.There are pictures of all 4 side& 1 picture of the little loose piece the has the shade screwed to it added to the very end of the picture slideshow. See the pics, it is signed with the limbert brand, and splined as well. The dimensions are 36" wide, and just shy of 48" long. These are the exact dimensions of the double oval in the catalog reprints. The finish has been stripped and there is a minor seam separation in the center of the top as well. See pics. Rare Gustav Stickley Octagon Lamp Table, Quartersawn Oak , Original Finish
Offered is a Stickley Mission Table in quartersawn oak and with it's original finish. The red compass decal is somewhat faded and I'm not sure just which of the 3 red decals it is. I believe it to be Gustav Stickley and I have found some of his tables like this but none exactly like this. The Octagon top is original and the decal is on the bottom of the top piece. The legs and cross bars are a simple block design and are pegged with wood. Underneath are crossbars that are cut on the ends at a 45 degree angle and they pass thru the legs. There is normal wear as shown and I don't see any repairs. The legs are not as tight as they could be but are not sloppy either. I have found Stickley octagon tops with legs coming thru or the table is much larger. I have looked all over the web and only found a reproduction of this table. But there is no label that we can see on the base or the top that identify it, but the base is definitely L& J. The top is unique because it has a skirt on top with little blocks that usually don’t appear on this kind of L& J table. It’s all of tiger sawn oak, and has the traditional flat cutout legs, the tapered extra-wide trunk that is 15 inches wide across the base, and the table top itself is 48 inches round, solid, and is 29.5 inches high. We do not have any leaves with this table, it is untouched right out of the home, and you can see the base in the photos is the same as the L& J Stickley base in the books. This piece is in its as-found condition from a San Diego Estate and has not been refinished(It appears to be constructed of Pine. Although I am not an expert on wood) It seems the original finish is still present and the table was a daily used table deserving of re-finishing. There appears to have been some braces attached over the years for security& strength(See photos) I have all 4 pegs, if the photos don’t show them clear and two of the four pegs can be removed to convert the table into a seat back hutch bench. The seat feels very secure and the seat base has an open storage compartment for use as a blanket chest. Please note the accessories are NOT included, like blanket, bookends, photos, vase ect. Leopold Stickley Table Original 1954 Solid Cherry Server Cart with Butler Tray
You are looking at a vintage solid cherry serving table by Leopold Stickley. This is such a fabulous piece and so useful. The table expands and the tray fits in the middle which is great for hosting large parties. Yet it can be closed up when not in use. Plus, it is on wheels and is easy to move around when serving a buffet style meal. The top closed measures 40" x 21" It is 28-1/4" tall. It is in very good condition, but there are some scratches on the top which I have add to the pictures. You can see in the one picture of the complete table top the scratches do not show, but the close up they do. I have not tried to cover them. I will let the lucky new owner of this table fix the marks. I will also be adding a table that folds down and a coffee table that has the serving tray and storage the same as this piece. Stickley Carl Forslund Quaint Furniture American Grand Rapids Folding Table
You are looking at a rare folding table by Carl Forslund. Who had been a salesman for Stickley Bros. and then establishing his own business in 1935. The table still has the label on the bottom. It measures 36" x 18" and is 25-1/2" tall. The legs fold down for easy storage and locks in place when upright. This is such a convenience table to used and store which is why there are marks of wear and scratches. The wood is beautiful! Sorry, I am not sure what the wood is, but the pictures show it clearly. Arts and crafts stickley era table lamp german silver? pewter? silver?
Nice accent light in the arts and crafts style. Made of pewter. German silver or silver even! I don't know for certain. It is unmarked as far as I can see. Nice little shade that gives off a good glow. There are some minor ripples to the frame work of the shade, but not bad. There may be an old repair to the lamp, see the close up pics#5,6,and 7. There may be some solder where the lamp might have had a stress crack above the switch. They blend well with the patina and tone of the rest of the lamp but I wanted to mention it. There may also be a slight lean in one direction due to this potential old repair. It's barely noticeable. Measures approx 16" tall. Wire and plug are both in good shape. This is an antique Stickley era Mission style Arts& Crafts quarter sawn solid oak coffee table dating to the early 1900's. It appears to have originally been a library table that was cut down to be a coffee table. It measures 42-3/4" wide. 25-1/2" deep and stands 18" tall. It has bronze pulls on the drawer and the drawer is dovetailed. There are scratches and wear consistent with age and gentle use, and some minor blemishes. There are oak buttons that cover connection points and 10 are missing. I have not had a chance to replace them, but do have a bag of new oak buttons that will be included with the table. Mission Arts Crafts table lamp copper pierced shade style of Limbert Stickley
Wow! I think this is really cool. Mission Oak arts and crafts table lamp with pierced copper shade of windmill. Lake, boat scene. You can tell by looking at this and the way it was constructed that it was a hand crafted item and probably not something made in factory. Shade is constructed of four copper panels, soldered together with(see photos) pierced scene of Dutch Windmill and boat on lake similar to logo from Limberts of Dutch Arts and Crafts. Oak base is screwed and nailed, two corbels have season cracks but could be reglued, pull sockets are Monowatt, original pull chains, both work but i would rewire. Lamp is approximately 22 inches tall and shade is approximately 14-15 inch square at bottom. I will revise to exact dimensions when I get this home. We have a set of 5 L. J.G. Stickley table sliders from the bottom of a 5 legged table. They are in as found condition. From a local home. They were apparently removed and stored. The owner must have decided were no longer needed. If you have a Stickley table, these would be perfect for replacements, as they are going to be really tough to find. They measure 2 1/2 inches tall and about 2 1/8 across at bottom. I will describe condition as best as possible and have taken many pictures which show every side of item. PLEASE NOTE- white spots on desk in photos are fresh snowflakes that just started to fall. Desk is stored indoors but photos were taken while moving the desk. Measurements: Approx. 29-1/4" in height. 44" wide at widest part Table Top measures 27-3/4" x 43-7/8" 22" from floor to bottom of drawer legs are 6" wide outside edge of leg to outside edge of other leg approx. 36" shelves on sides have opening approx. 11" high x 24-1/4" wide from floor to bottom of cross pieces between legs is approx. 5-7/8" Handle pulls are original ... moreto desk and could easily be changed as one has a screw through front of knob while other is entirely wood front. There are some scratches and dings to wood as can be seen in photos. One rear leg had slight exposure to dampness at one time and has a little swelling. Antique Mission Oak Library Desk I can find no markings on this except a#17 in pencil in the drawer slide and a# 17 in pencil in the drawer. I assume they did this so they would know which drawer went with which desk, and does not allude to who made the desk. I got this from my wife's uncles estate. He was 96 when he passed and he got this desk from his parents estate in Spokane Wa. when they passed. It is made from solid oak and on the ends of the top board you can see that the top is tongue and grooved. Very hard to show in the pictures. I don't know tiger oak from quarter sawn oak so you be the judge. There is some what appears to be grey paint on one corner of the top. please see pictures. Someone drove 2 finish nails about 2' long into the top of one of the legs. One leg has a chip out of it at the bottom about the size of ... morea quarter and another leg has a little grey paint at the bottom of one side. See pictures. I have made no attempt to repair. Clean or restore the finish on this desk, it is in the condition it was given me in. All in all this desk is in great vintage condition given its age. Stickley Dining Room Table Leaves 54 Inches
We are selling a great pair of table leaves. They were from an L& JG Stickley 54 inch dining table. They are about 53 13/16 inches long. About 11 1/16 wide and about 15/16th of and inch thick, just under an inch. These would be very good for a table that has no leaves or to add to ones you may already have. They have good color, grain and are made of thinner pieces of wood glued together. These are from an estate that had many oak pieces but the table was sadly already gone. They forgot about these in a closet and didn't find them until later. Please know that they are not going to be signed but they are numbered 11 for the width of each leaf. Antique Hand Embroidered Linen Tablecloth Table Cover Here is a gorgeous hand embroidered table cover tablecloth filled with really incredible hand embroidery needlework. The table cover has an Stickley. Arts and Craft Deco look to it with a floral design done in embroidery floss. The square table cover embroidery floss colors are red. Yellow, green and black. The table cover is nicely finished with a scallop finish on the outer edges. Table Doily cover measurements: 24” x 24” approximately. Tablecloth condition: Good pre-owned condition with some imperfections. There are 11 small spots where the red embroidery thread on the outer scallop edges is missing. I have purchased red embroidery thread and am including the embroidery floss with purchase should the buyer wish to repair it in the future(see photos 6 and 7) The shade of green embroidery ... morefloss is an olive green front side and a darker green on the reverse side(see photos 11 and 12) On the reverse side you can see that there has been color bleeding to the green floss. I did not find this to be noticeable on the front side of the table doily cover. The tablecloth is in"as found" condition and I have not cleaned the table cloth because of the mends required. RARE* ANTIQUE GUSTAV STICKLEY LIBRARY TABLE. ORIGINAL FINISH, GREAT LABEL This is a fantastic antique signed Gustav Stickley library table from the early 1900s. The top measures 48x30 inches. The height is 29 inches, the legs are very thick and measure 3.25x3.25 inches. It has the original Gustav Stickley decal on the bottom, pictured. The finish is a dark oak finish. the boards on top are not splined and do have a little separation inbewteen a couple of the boards which could be fixed easily. This table is estate fresh and we have not done anything to it, we have not oiled it, we did not put anything on it to clean it. It still has a little dusty finish from the attic it came out of and should clean up nicely. The only issue to the table is a 12 inch burn mark on the top, we did picture it and put a ruler next to it to give a size measurement, ... morethe burn does dip a little into the wood. This item can either be picked up here on Cape Cod(02653) but we know that is not always possible so we can reccomend a couple of different blanket wrap freight shippers who are very reliable and have reasonable prices. Usually anything on the east coast is pretty economical and tends to get pricey the further west of the Mississippi River you go. Has some staining(see the close-up photo) Fringe has one broken spot/area(see last photo) but otherwise is intact. The second to the last photo shows the fringe seam where it overlaps. Antique L&J.G. Stickley Arts and Crafts Table, No Reserve!!!!!
The table is 20 in. tall and is 18in. wide. The base/ legs is in excellent original condition. Great original patina. The top has a few issues. The top is made up of 3 boards and two glued up seems. One seem is original and untouched and just beginning to open up a bit. Structurally very sound. Its good. The other seem looks to have been worked on. Its tight and also very sound. The top also has 1in. area thats about 1/8in. deep that looks to me to have been sanded/ worked smooth. One or two screws missing and a few are new. The table is 11lbs. so shipping will be approx 16lbs from 07712. Any questions please ask.
