Holmes Mississippi blues master head and matching cabinet. This is a very rare find. These were made in Mississippi in the 1970s and gained a cult following because they are the amp that was used by the great late Shawn Lane. Overall the head is in good condition but the reverb does not work. When the head is on and you move it you can hear the springs but it does not effect the sound, it might be just a cleaning issue but I am not a tech so I do not know for sure. Besides that the head sounds great and if you don't need reverb it is good to go. The cabinet sounds great, all the speakers are in good shape. Very nice original Ampico player piano roll. This roll was recently played on our Ampico player piano and it played beautifully! 215523 played by Victor Lane With a Word of Warning From the Top of Your Head to the Tip of Your Toes All rolls have been played on our player piano- however. We didn't make notes and there are so many, that they are in varying degrees of condition. They are all playable, but you will find some minor edge frays, possible leader mends and a few edge mends in the batch. Boxes are in good to very poor condition- there are even a few sub boxes in the batch, but mostly original. A few of the rolls have NO boxes, but we'll try to point that out when we run across one. Much of which is decoratively carved. It has columns on the upper and lower sections with Corinthian capitals on the lower and a central half scroll medallion in the upper. This wood combines with the functional structure to provide a rich resonant tone rarely heard in modern pianos. It has a normal(not birdcage) action. The piano is in a playable state(see Condition Description for more details) so it can serve both as a decorative piece and a source of beautiful music. Pair of Lane Mid Century Modern Rhythm Collection Walnut Nightstands
Pair of gorgeous mid century modern nightstands from Lane's Rhythm Collection(made in Altavista. Virginia, USA) in good vintage condition. This line was produced in the 1960s. Made of walnut- they feature a beautiful wood grain and one large drawer each. They sure don't make furniture like this anymore. I bought each separately in hopes of finding/purchasing the matching long and tallboy dressers. But I wound up buying a different full set instead. I'm still considering keeping them and working to acquire the set anyways if I don't find a buyer. They're really sharp. Both nightstands have minor wear as is common in vintage furniture but are otherwise very nice. Recording#204361-E Linger Awhile Fox Trot Key of F Rose played by Victor Lane c.1923 with words The roll has very minor curling and fraying and a small rip on the leader edge.
