It has 3 drawers, each drawer is 19" deep. The table is in excellent condition, the top does show some vintage wear. On inspection there is a ring and some scuffing. A light refinish of the top would make it perfect. This table comes from a smoke free and pet free home. It is clean and ready to use. The table will be shipped by Greyhound bus. Vintage Zenith Tube Table Radio Model HH723 Walnut Case We picked up a herd of these tube radios at an auction a few weeks ago so keep checking back with Dis Dat and D Udder if you are looking for a vintage radio that moooooves you. This particular one is one of the rougher ones of the lot. There are a few cracks in the case but they are tight. A bit of the gold has worn off the station indicator, the back plate has no legible writing, the dial for the station indicator only goes half way and there is a mud tunnel from a wasp inside like this fine high fidelity equipment was left out on the porch. Then"my boyfriend" was working construction for a contractor on Long Island for the summer during college that year and when the two of them dug this old table out of a basement there in Rockville Centre, he was lucky enough to have the opportunity to buy it from the owner. He later paid to have it professionally cleaned up including having the top refinished and having a custom table pad made to protect the top as well. For the next 35 years we used this table as our formal family dining table, the centerpiece when celebrating holidays and special events with our three children and many friends over the years. Now we are ready to let it go, and it ... moreis ready to make a statement and add to the memories in your home or place of business today. The refinished top is gorgeous and shows off the beautiful walnut wood grains which I attempt to show in my series of photographs. The heavy carved edging and the large turned legs on a split base with bun feet really make for a striking presentation. The table pads are well used and a bit tattered at their edges but certainly are a great asset for use under a table cloth to protect the top. As I show on the underside of the table. The mechanism shows this table is designed to spread to a much longer length, perhaps 10-12 feet, if someone were to have leaves remade. This terrific table measures 60 inches long by 45 inches wide. The table stands 30 inches tall. In addition to making a great dining table. This wonderful old walnut table would also work well as a library or study table for home use or perhaps a law office or other professional work environment. It has hand-cut dovetails on both lipped drawers on both ends. We brought it in and had to replace a couple of broken spindles on the bottom frame. It had been refinished previously, and our cabinet man Norm put a coat of satin sheen lacquer on top of the existing finish. It measures 54 inches long, and when the 22-inch leaves are flipped up, it becomes 65 inches wide, 54 inches deep, and 30 inches tall. When the leaves and gate-leg braces are down, it becomes a sofa table measuring 23 inches wide. Look at the many turned spindles on the base, hand-cut dovetail drawers, raised panel, with the original period hardware. Over the years, as become the repository for many family antiques. Furniture from my great grandmother, great aunt, grandmother, mom and myself has all found a place at the house. Now, I’ve sold the house and am downsizing. My extended family doesn’t have the type of houses that can accommodate these fabulous antiques. Of course, I cannot dictate who the new owners of these antiques will be. But it is my hope that someone else will get as much pleasure from these heirloom pieces as they have brought to my family for generations. I’ll include a little family history with each piece because I think someone else will appreciate that these are not‘anonymous’ pieces sold by a dealer. They have a soul that accompanies ... moretheir beauty. This magnificent dining room set belonged to my great aunt. She lived in Chicago. And her husband’s saloon was next door to Oscar Mayer’s meat market! At one time she had a grand apartment on Lakeshore Drive, and this set was purchased for that apartment. She lived to be 101 years old, and because she had no children the dining set passed to my grandmother, my mom and then to me. She was a grand lady with wonderful taste! The set consists of a large table with beautifully figured walnut veneer top and heavy carving. Two leaves, two armchairs, and four side chairs. I will let the photos speak for themselves about the beauty and quality of this set. The chairs have pettipoint and needlepoint oval back upholstery that features poppies, daisies and I think carnations on a mauve background. The seats are upholstered in mauve mohair. They are regal. The table has a carved edge. Inlaid burled border and beautifully figured matched walnut on the main part of the table surface. The cabriole legs, apron and base are very heavily carved. for sale a great antique walnut center or parlor table att. thomas brooks. thick. Solid, and heavy construction as expected from brooks. it has the original insert marble top and the frame around it. some call these picture frame tables. the table has great form and beauty with buttons, medallions, carvings over the entire piece. the central pedestal pegs into the top support board with 4 pegs and then is bolted. the fours legs sit on their original brass casters. the marble is cut exactly to fit in the frame only one way, if you get it switched you will mess with it for hours and won't get the frame over the marble. the frame then pegs into the skirt and that only happens one way. i will mark the pieces for the new owner so they won't have trouble getting it together. i took it apart to clean it and messed with it for over 30 minutes ... moregetting it back together, so i did not take it apart to take any pictures. i should have done that before i put it back together. anyway, should anyone want additional photos, let me know and i can take it apart if need be. it is a fairly large table and nearly round. it is 36 inches wide, 27.5 inches deep. it sits 30 inches tall. it has great burl accents on the leg panels and skirt. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at the buyer's expense. good luck.

It appears to be walnut. May be 18th or 19th century. I couldn't find any newer hardware on it. It is in need of some restoration. But is certainly functional as is and is tight& sturdy. It can be corrected by quickly exercising the knob left and right rapidly several times. It's like an old-style volume control with dirty contacts, or something. Once you exercise them back and forth the contacts are cleaned off and the scratching goes away. This tuner is like that. I have no idea why, but perhaps a good contact cleaner is the answer. Again, that's for the new owner as I'm not radio-knowledgeable. Second. The tuner often drifts when set for FM. Again, I'm really not sure why. It only seems to be an FM issue as I haven't noticed it with AM, though I'm not certain about that. So, occasional fine tuning is required to keep the FM station set. Then, at times, it will stay fine-tuned for quite a long while- I really just don't get it! Third. And last, the On/Off/AM/FM switch is a little spongy. Nevertheless it works every time and seems to me to be just a point needing mentioning more than a real issue.
