It is a great table dating from the 1870s to 1880s. I am confident that it has had an overcoat applied at some point in its past, but it has a warm mellow touch to the medium walnut stain finish. The table consists of walnut and mahogany. It is all hand carved with the floral arrangements on the serpentine skirts and cabriole style legs. The four legs are joined together with cross stretchers in the center with a huge center finial that is an open cup. The overall size is 36 inches long, 26 inches deep and 30 inches high. The overall condition is good and tight. There are a couple of minute chips on the marble that we will detail out prior to shipping.

You think the table is inlaid micromosaics. The hand painted ovals are colorful and very detailed and artistic. The tripod table legs are beautifully carved. We bought this on a buying trip to France. As often seen in 150 year old furniture, there is an age crack in the center. Wood shrinks across the grain. This is an age crack and cannot be"repaired" As I tell my customers about age cracks, you just have to get over it. When you are 150 years old, you will have a big crack, too! This listing is for the attractive vintage Bendix model 526E table top tube radio pictured(circa 1946) It has a beautiful multi-colored walnut veneer cabinet with original knobs(bakelite? It is 30 watts power. If was made by the Bendix Aviation Corp. of Baltimore. Maryland just after the end of WW II. The date"4/4/46" is stamped on the bottom of the cabinet along with the wording"Plant A" The finish on the cabinet is in superb condition.looks just like it did when purchased new! It weighs 7 pounds; I estimate the properly packaged radio will weigh 12 pounds and shipping is based on that weight. Dimensions are 12 3/4" wide by 8" high by 7" deep. It was purchased recently at a radio auction where several collectors were parting out some or all of their collections. Mid-Century Dining Table & 6 Chairs Hook Furniture Teak / Walnut
This is a beautiful mid-century dining table and 6 chairs by Hook Furniture. This table is absolutely gorgeous and in excellent condition with a few light surface scratches and a little finish wear along the edges of the table. I noticed one circular watermark. It faded with furniture polish but can be seen at certain angles. The table measures 44" wide without the leaves. There are 2 10" leaves making the total size 64" x 44. The table height is 29.5" The table has a wonderful design and lovely woodgrain patterns. I also have the matching credenza and china cabinet(offered separately- see my other listings) The chairs are well made and sturdy. 2 arm chairs and 4 side chairs. Caning is in excellent condition with no damage or areas of weakness. The 2 armchairs show light finish wear on the arms. All have curved back rests ... morewith caning on the inside and Teak on the backside. The remainder in walnut. This set was SO well taken care of over the years, really a rarity to find mid-century furniture in such good condition. Truly gorgeous. antique walnut mahogany tilt top table turned pedestal thick skirt period early
first off the pictures are really bad. The white spots i think are dirty spots on my lens that i can't seem to get off. at any rate, for auction is a wonderful early period piece. i expect it was made circa 1860 or so. it has a very thick skirt both high and wide. all original as far as i can tell, pegged together. tilts and locks perfectly. it is as solid as a rock and does not wiggle, wobble, creak, or move in anyway other that it is intended to do. the pedestal is a nice turned mahogany piece as well as the three legs. legs are drilled for casters but there are none in it, but it would require a short shank caster with sleeve. these are easy to come by should you want some. there is a large beaded molding along the bottom of the skirt. there are a few pieces of the beading missing but it is not noticeable. the top appears to be walnut, ... morethe secondary joist supports are oak i believe. it is not uncommon for these early pieces which are hand crafted to be constructed of several type woods. it is a wonderful piece. it is 30 inches wide and 29 inches tall without caster. any question please ask. i gave 700 for it quite some time ago. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at the buyer's expense. good luck.

We believe these chairs to have their original finish and the cane seats are in excellent antique condition. Each chair measures a total height from the floor to the top of the back of 34 inches. With a seat width of 16 1/2 inches, seat depth of 15 1/2 inches and seat height of 17 3/4 inches and each chair weighs approximately 8 lbs. These 19th century chairs feature a shaped crest-rail. Shield shaped back-splat, cane bottom seats with ring turned stretchers and ring turned front legs and tapered back legs. This is a vintage Danish Modern style table that stands 16" tall. The legs are solid teak and the top is solid walnut surrounding a black laminated top. Each side of the triangular top measures 18-1/2" It is in excellent condition but dues have several small cracks in the wood around the joints on the walnut top as well as some light spots on the black laminated portion of the top as seen in the pictures.
