The stretcher is“T” style and the table is supported by 4 very large block and ball style carved legs. The chairs have a solid shield style back that has red leather like inserts with brass nail head trim. There are finials topping the stiles of each chair. The seat cushion is upholstered in the same red material as the back insert with large brass nail head accents. The stiles on the chairs are fluted. One chair has 3 splits in the left side of the wood on the back between the stile and the red insert. The chairs have large front legs that match the table and straight legs in the back. This 1962 dining room set has 4 chairs in near-perfect condition. The woven cane high backs are practically pristine(see sample) And the cushions are gold vinyl with no visible damage. The leaves are relatively flat but have not been used in 45 years. They seem to fit, however. The entire table comes apart without tools using an ingenious system of 4 opposing pairs of metal wedges. Vintage Industrial Metal School Dining Work Table w/Laminate Top, Restored Legs
For auction is one beautiful vintage school table with metal legs restored in a brilliant fire engine red paint. Manufactured by the American Seating Company in the 1950s. The top features the original silvery-gray marbled laminate and metal trim band. The trim, while it has been cleaned and polished, exhibits wear and scratches common to decades of institutional use, as does the top. The laminate is actually in quite good shape, though there is an area with some very pale yellowish stains, and a small W or M carved into the surface near one edge(pictured) On of the corners has also been slightly dented(pictured) The steel legs. However, have been fully restored and freshly painted. CA When I went in I was amazed as I had never seen a house in this area so untouched. So original. It still had a pipe or something in the walls in the bedrooms that they said was used for emitting light gas before electricity. I was fascinated. I saw the realtor dump this table out by the curb.It was taken apart.The t-molding on the edge was all brown and dried up and in pieces and the legs were rusty, but the top of the table was in excellent condition and the leaf had never been used(at least it looked like new) what I did: I sanded off the rust ... moreon the legs and repainted them a satin black. I took off the old T-molding and put on brand new black t-molding. I looked and looked but could not find any double rubber leg caps. I have 2. I went ahead and just put on single caps to at least protect the legs and floor for now. I feel that maybe whoever buys this could find the other 2 caps. The table is now in great shape. The leaf is a brighter pink as the regular table has faded. I did get a little streak of glue on the leaf and was a afraid to use any solvent to get it off in case it removed the design.but you can't see it but would feel it. I believe this a 1930s Jacobean Style Dining table with four very ornate chairs. It measures 70" x 40" with the leaf in. The leaf is 12" and is built into the table. It slides under the table for storage. It has wear on the table top with some clouding. The chairs are in excellent condition and measure 41"x 16 1/2" Stamped with Jefferson Woodworking Company Louisville Ky. Looks very Gothic.

Natural rattan- dining room table w/ four swivel chairs on casters SUNBRELLA indoor/outdoor fabric cushions from Pier 1 Imports are like new. Hardly used since purchasing last summer This is a great vintage set. The natural rattan is in great shape, very sturdy, there's a few areas where the binder cane windings have unraveled- I didn't feel the need to replace the windings, as the integrity of the table/chairs isn't diminished or affected. The 4 chairs SWIVEL& are on CASTERS& can be removed. The seat base is solid 3/4" furniture grade ply-wood. Very supportive& built to last! The cushions were purchased@ Pier 1 Imports. Last summer 2013, for $140 plus tax. The cushions still have the tags on them. have been used lightly. The wide awning stripe is in a persimmon color, not quite red, not quite orange.just beautiful& ... morecheerful The original cushions were not as large as the Pier 1 Imports. This auction is for a very nice complete 1950's retro Dinette set made by Huron Chrome Products out of Indiana. Table is very nice and table top is without scratches. Chrome table legs and chair legs do have that small surface rust starting but should rub up and polish pretty nice. The 2 leaves for the table are very nice and are without scratches as well, all dow pins are in tack. Chrome trim around table is nice as well. 4 out of the 6 chairs are in very very nice shape no rips tears or holes. The other 2 chairs look as though they have been used as painting stools as there is paint splatter and some white paint marks on them. All chairs have no rips, tears, holes or missing pins and all have the nice retro chrome decoration on top. Vintage/Antique Victorian Dining Table and Six(6) Chairs- needs work This dining set belonged to my mother. But I would imagine that she purchased it at an antique auction at some point. She used it in her dining room for several years, but for the last one year it has been unused and in the barn. I do not know the age or history of the set, and I do not know for sure what kind of wood it is. I think it is oak. The six(6) chairs include five(5) side chairs and one(1) captain's chair with arms. The five chairs are 40" tall to the top of the back. 18" wide across the front of the chair, 15.5" wide across the back of the chair, and the seat is 18" deep. The captain's chair is 20.75" wide across the front and 17.5" across the back. Otherwise it is the same as the other chairs. All chairs need new upholstery ... moreand new seating but structurally are fairly sound. Decoratively they have some issues with the scroll work which I will attempt to describe. I have put paper numbers in the seats of the chairs to help me remember which ones are which. In one picture, I showed a close up of the top front of chair number six because it has the most damage of them all. It is missing some scroll work and the wood is faded out and dry with some separation of the veneer layers in the top of the back of the chair. None of the other chairs have this much scroll work missing and the condition of the wood on all the other chairs is in much better shape than this particular one. The captain's chair has a small amount of scroll work coming off. Chair#2 has some scroll work missing at the top front, a chip in the veneer at the top back, and a small amount of veneer separation. Some of the corners in back are a little scuffed up as well. Chair#3 has scroll work missing at the top, a chip in the veneer and a small chip on the side of the chair. Old Dollhouse Miniature Marble Top Dining Room Table - Vintage
We recently came across a box of old dollhouse miniatures and furniture. This is not our area of expertise so we are listing each piece as an auction with a $9.99 starting bid. All we can tell you about age is that the former owner said it came from the 50's and earlier with pieces coming from her mother and grandmother. This listing is for a miniature dining table with a marble top. It measures 2.75" tall. The top measures 3.25 by 4.75" tall. There is some old glue where the legs meet the stem. There is also a large glob of glue between the unfinished piece of wood and the marble. It's stable but definitely repaired. Nice big size- four chairs will fit around it. Unmarked.
