It is a solid oak 54 inches quarter sawn top. The table is 30 inches high and when all four leaves are inserted the table becomes 8 feet long. It is a good-looking table with a large reeded center column and a platform base that goes down into the biggest ball and claw feet I have seen in a long time. The table is in a medium oak stain. For your consideration, this beautiful and very Fancy Large Walnut Victorian Oval Marble Top Center Table(Circa: 1860) This gorgeous Table weighs approximately 95 pounds and measures 30” in height, 35” in width, and 25 ¼” in depth. The elegant details on this piece are fabulous! It appears to be wearing its’ original finish and is adorned with a lovely beveled marble top and brass castors on the feet for ease of movement! The beautiful white oval marble top is beveled and sits upon a powerful large oval solid walnut base that is adorned with fluted banding. This fluted banding is graced with raised horizontal and oval burl panel accents. Lovely pierced scrolled foliate carved aprons are found on three of the four sides. This is a beautiful Victorian age solid mahogany split pedestal base ball and claw banquet table that comes with three 11-inch-wide table ... moreleaves dating from the 1900’s. The table looks like it has been refinished by the previous owner within the last 10 to 15 years. But it does show normal wear and tear and some nicks and dings. It comes with a skirted single leaf and two unskirted leaves, all 11 inches wide. The table has been finished in a dark reddish-brown rich luxurious mahogany stain with a satin sheen lacquer, and it’s a pretty nice quality job, as the pictures will show. The only flaw I can see is that where the table closes, the table leaf doesn’t close up completely on the seam. This happens quite a bit on split pedestal tables, and it just needs a latch put underneath to tighten it when the table is closed. The overall size is 54 inches wide when closed, and 29.5 inches tall. When the three table leaves are inserted, it is 87 inches long. This gorgeous table has a lovely ogee beveled edge around it on the top, with a three-inch mahogany skirt, and it sits upon a split pedestal bulbous turned center column, with four finely detailed ball and claw talon feet. Being offered for sale is this lovely Victorian Aesthetic Ebonized Ladies Dressing Table Vanity Stand circa 1880. This stand features its original ebonized finish and the original beveled mirror and would be a sweet piece to add a special accent in about any room of your home. It has a small storage drawer with its original Eastlake brass pull. This piece measures 58 inches in total height.28 inches wide and 12 inches deep and weighs approximately 50 lbs. The original beveled mirror measures 17 inches by 13 1/2 inches. The original beveled mirror does show streaking and cloudiness as age appropriate. The very top finial has had an old repair at the very tip top and the left leg appears to have been re-glued at the joint at some point in time and it seems solid and tight. Here is a wonderful victorian shawl that is in excellent condition. No holes or snags. I like to use these as table drapes in my victorian home. They are beautiful on a table and cost much less than an original table drape. It is lavender in color. Turkey Red Victorian Damask Table Cloth Blossom Sprays; Nice Condition; 49"x56"
This is a Victorian era(probably c 1880 to 1920) Turkey Red tablecloth that measures 49" x 56" It has a light weight and some fading so striations do show in the red field. Beautiful leaf(hosta? and blossom(forget-me-not? pattern with an 8" border to the inside edge of the fringe. There are many variations in red in the world.this Turkey Red would be considered leaning toward an orange/red of a fire engine rather than blue/red. Turkey Red cloths were made in Europe from a red dye called alizarin. Originally. The dye used was produced from the roots of the madder plant in the area of India and Asia Minor. It wasn't until the 13th century that Western Europeans first discovered this colorfast dye in Turkey, hence the name"Turkey Red" Jump to the Victorian era where these dyed threads were woven into damask designs ... moreand were very popular in Victorian homes. Now, after one hundred years plus of use, these cloths have suffered varying degrees of fading due to washing and sun damage. Pieces in pristine condition are rare. But many are still in beautiful, vintage condition and continue to be a part of family celebrations to this day. We like to list Turkey Red damask tablecloths and other antique linens as we come upon them. They have been found at estate sales. Antique malls and, yes, even online. They have been washed to remove any musty odor and general yellowing and spotting of the fabric. Please note: we do not buy severely stained or damaged textiles since that will affect their long term value. That's not to say, due to the fact that these pieces are over a hundred years old and some have been stored in less than ideal conditions, that some of our textiles might not have a wear spot or two or show some faint discolorations. Perfect for large scale dinner parties and functions. The hand turned bulbous chunky balloon shaped legs are on castors so this table is easy to move around. There is even a leg under the middle of the table which makes it easy when you use the winding mechanism. The finish to the table is gorgeous. Deep luxurious mahogany. It features ornate heavy brass original hardware and has its original brass casters intact on the base. This table measures 30 1/4 inches in height.36 1/2 inches wide and 20 1/4 inches deep and weighs approximately 45 lbs. for sale is a great contoured skirted pieced carved walnut marble turtle top table. near mint condition with no repairs or missing parts or pieces that i can see. there are a very few very minor scuff marks on the legs. Just small surface scratches, if they bother you, you can wipe a bit of stain over them and they are gone. at any rate, a very well heavy made table of the high victorian era, all original including the casters. it is a nice size table, being 33 inches wide, 24 inches deep, and 30 inches tall. it has a wonderful finial on top of the stretcher. may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyer's expense. i have 30 or 40 tables in my house and need to get rid of a few plus a bunch of other things. i have the house almost impassable at this point. anyway, i am starting most of the things i am listing at less than i paid years ... moreago for them. i have always tried to buy the nicest things i could afford, so you will find most of the things i have in good condition and quality. i will be listing more tables in time to come and also i have 9 bedroom sets upstairs, some of which i will be listing. i don't use any of the bedrooms and have them stacked full of all kinds of things.anyway, excuse the rambling. good luck

She is appx. 25 7/8" tall x 16.5" at the widest points- appx. 11" from front to back. We do have the key and the drawer does lock. Both the drawer and the interior are lined with a lovely green and gold paper. The interior is missing a divider. There is some damage to the wood on the interior- picture 4 Both hinges are loose. The Celery Vase measures 4 1/2" tal l and 5 5/8" in diameter outside handles measurement. Victorian Games Table. This is a pretty thing and quite unusual. The hinged. Petal shaped, gilt decorated, paper machete top inlaid with an Abolone shell Chess board. All supported on a turned column with painted fauna decoration, on a shaped paper machete base with similar decoration. All stood on scrolled metal feet. This Table is in surprisingly good order. Considering what it's made of. Some minor crazing to the lacquer, as wood be expected and some rubbing to the corners of the base, but nothing that overtly or even vaguely, detracts from it's overall beauty. This is a very elegant late Victorian period table top telescope stand engraved‘ J. H. Steward Ltd. Strand. London. on top of the tube clamp. It’s no exaggeration to say that this stand is in mint condition. Having all its original black finish and the photos don’t really do it justice. It’s constructed in 3 parts. Which when fully assembled stands 16.5” 420mm) in height. And it also has an internal corkscrew point for fixing into fence posts for use outdoors. The tube clamp is leather lined and hinged to open. With a brass thumb type screw for fastening when clamping a telescope in place. The tube clamp has an aperture of 40mm in diameter. And the complete stand weighs just over 1.2kgs. DESIGN: This unique early adjustable Faries style solid Brass table/desk reading lamp is simply designed with elaborate Victorian styling. It has 2 points of articulation. One on the supporting base post joint which allows it to heighten and lower to different positions while keeping uniform tension, and the other on the cross arm which allows that section to heighten or lower as well.
