It is a great table dating from the 1870s to 1880s. I am confident that it has had an overcoat applied at some point in its past, but it has a warm mellow touch to the medium walnut stain finish. The table consists of walnut and mahogany. It is all hand carved with the floral arrangements on the serpentine skirts and cabriole style legs. The four legs are joined together with cross stretchers in the center with a huge center finial that is an open cup. The overall size is 36 inches long, 26 inches deep and 30 inches high. The overall condition is good and tight. There are a couple of minute chips on the marble that we will detail out prior to shipping.

Nice Large Victorian Style Table Lamp Hand Painted Glass Lamp Shade, Unk. Age
Here's a nice large glass handpainted lamp shade we received recently with some estate items. This is very nice overall with no cracks or chips and one small area of discoloration we show in the pictures. It is a large shade with a rim at the bottom just under 9.75 inches in outside diameter. The shade is about 10 inches tall and the widest diameter is about 14 inches. On these lamp shades for old or antique style lamps it's hard to say what the age is. While this one may be old we're guessing this is either a vintage or modern reproduction suited to fit a lamps of the Victorian period style. The pictures should be helpful to those having interest. This one does have some very slight signs of age and use. The little area of discoloration we mentioned seems to be something like a rust water mark or similar that occurred over time ... moreas it will not come off with just soap and water. Anyway. In the end a very nice large handpainted glass lampshade of unknown age suited for use as a replacement lampshade on a variety of lamps. That's about it. The pictures should be helpful to those having interest. We'll start this lampshade low so enjoy the auction. We'll pack this carefully. The unit sits on four Queen Anne style legs and has an interlocking lid which is hinged on ease side. The unit is complete with its original lock and key which is in working order. Cast Iron Table Top or Wall Ornate Rococo Victorian style Frame 16.5" x 11.5"
Great vintage cast iron standing frame. About 16.5 inches tall, about 11.5 inches wide. Heavy cast iron with distressed painted gold finish. Beautiful rococo foliate form frame currently holding a mirror. The mirror in the frame is damaged with a crack or break at the upper left corner. Please see photo#6 and there is also a scratch to the mirror surface. The old cardboard on the back can be removed to replace the mirror. The frame holds a mirror or a painting or a photo that is 8.5 inches by 6 inches. The frame has a'kick' stand which needs to be positioned carefully to put this piece on a table or vanity. Pretty fleur de lis and shamrock pattern with a 9" border to the inside edge of the fringe. There are many variations in red in the world.this Turkey Red would be considered leaning toward a deep, blue/red rather than the orange/red of a fire engine. Turkey Red cloths were made in Europe from a red dye called alizarin. Originally. The dye used was produced from the roots of the madder plant in the area of India and Asia Minor. I have shopped for Antique Treasures for nearly 35 years now and this little gem of a Occasional table is one of the sweetest. Best condition and highly adorned tables I have seen. I also listed it as a lamp, gingerbread and Parlor table) For the purpose of this listing, I will use the description, occasional' for this table. I really want to keep it but I just don't have a spot for it and this table deserves to be put in a loving space. I purchased it today actually. I bought it from a sweet older couple from New York who now live in Palm Harbor, FL. The husband explained that it was his Grandmother's first then his mother had it. He said his Grandmother got it around the time she was married and he couldn't remember if it was 1897 or 1898. The condition is superior. It has been well cared for for 115 years by the same family. ... moreThe oak grain is beautiful and the only flaws are: on the bottom of one of the round feet. Someone cut off a section of the very bottom so that it would fit closely next to something.however, it still is level because they cut off only a section, not the entire tip(please see the last pic) The other flaw is that there is a hair line split on the top where the wood has a miniscule separation. I had to inspect closely to find this. This table requires no restoration whatsoever. Has beautiful detail in the grain. Measurements are as follows: Oval Top is 32.75" long x 18" wide 27" tall from floor to top middle decorative shelf is 7.25" wide x 16" long with scrolling lower 2 round shelves are 10.5" in diameter. Antique Victorian Bamboo Plant/Stand/Table with Signed Veneer
Please note. This listing is for two separate items: a bamboo/oak table and a signed printed veneer work of art. I have listed them together because the veneer could be used to resurface the table top. Here’s an outstanding Victorian burnt bamboo table or plant stand. It is being sold with a beautiful painted wood veneer that could be used to resurface the top of the table. It is not attached to the table and could be framed to use as a separate piece. I was going to cut the veneer and glue it to the tabletop but I ran out of time. The table is in great condition except for the circular burn mark on the top(see photos) All the bamboo has the great variegated pattern and the patina that can only be acquired over many years. It’s not in mint condition. But you wouldn’t expect it to be since it is probably from the Victorian period. The table ... moretop(looks like oak) is a bit uneven where two pieces of wood join. I use it just as it is with a small tablecloth to hide the burn mark. I think the veneer would look great as the tabletop, though. It would fit well except that it might lose the tops of the iris leaves. The painted veneer is actually signed by Lindley Briggs and is a limited print 154/370, dated 1984. The measurements are approximately: 28 1/2” high. The table top is 18" x 18" and the bottom sh elf is 14” x 14" This is a great looking classic piece and would be even more unique with the veneer attached to the top. This is for a lovely old Victorian Dutch silver miniature table. The top of the table has a detailed scene with men on horse back. Dogs and a village in the back ground. The table stands on four legs that are joined with a cross section and the edges of the table are decorated with an ornate scrolled pattern. The silver carries a set of mid 19th century Dutch silver marks along with a full set of English import hallmarks that date it to London 1891. It has the makers, or in this case sponsers initials LL for Lewis Lewis. It is in absolute excellent condition with no damage to it anywhere, no holes and no no wear to the image. Antique Victorian Folk Art Twig Table
This is a unique Victorian table made of twigs. We've never seen anything else like it! Some twigs have snapped over the years but it remains in good condition. We had a glass beveled mirror made for the top of it- hard to tell from the pictures because it reflects the wall. But it's sturdy enough for a heavy vase of flowers. A couple of drinks and a bunch of knick knacks. It's great as a display table, especially under a window.

The condition of this great Side Table is secure and sturdy with some minor scratches/spots here and there proper to its age and as part of its wear& tear. The table dates from the 1880s, and came in with a split top. We re-glued it, re-braced it, and refinished the top in its original golden oak/ash color. This is either a wide grain oak or ash table, you be the judge. The base is in its original color, and has its original skirts, which are 8 inches wide. The skirts can be cut back to accommodate a more modern chair. Or we can add casters to raise the skirt up. These tables bring a lot of money: The last one I saw for sale on the internet brought in $3800, so you can see you’re getting a great deal! It’s all set to go, and it’s longer than you can imagine.
