The center support ends in a turned finial and the table top is trimmed with a carved apron. Condition: The overall condition of this piece is fair to good. Please see all pictures) The top is warped with a seam running through the middle. This can be corrected. The underside has paint marks and stains. Finish appears to be original and has a nice warm patina. The top is a little wobbly but can also be fixed easily with some glue or a few screws. One of the legs has a small chuck of wood broken off. To lessen the cost of shipping this piece will be disassembled for shipping. Screws will be included in the package and all that would be needed to reassemble is a screw driver. Measurements: The table is 31 inches high. 16 inches wide and 12 inches deep. The top is 12 inches by 16 inches. LARGE VICTORIAN FLUTED SOLID MAHOGANY PEDESTAL DINING TABLE / CONSOLE BASE (S)
This is a very nice antique Victorian pedestal style dining table base. You could also use them as 2 separate console bases. It is solid mahogany and has a fluted pedestal, it is stamped with the number 100 on the bottom. It originally had a 50" top, it measures 25" high, it is designed to have castors which would add some height, measuring across the center of any two legs it is 26 1/2" and the top brackets are 14 1/2" wide x 12" deep, the legs are 2 3/4" wide. Some of the hardware on the top is missing as you can see in the pictures. Overall it is in good condition, some scuffs, nicks and dings to the legs which you can see, no splits or cracks to the pedestal or feet and no repairs. It will be shipped with the legs removed to help insure that it arrives safely and to reduce the shipping cost, there are 8 screws ... moreto each leg and we will mark each leg and it's original location for re-assembly. VICTORIAN BALL & CLAW FOOT LAMP END TABLE
I found these table parts under a bed in a house we bought. The bottom shelf would attach with screws from underneath screwed into the legs and then attach into a slot on the underside of the top. It has a scalloped or serpentine edge and legs with eagle talons wrapped around 1 1/4" diameter glass balls for feet. The balls are very secure& a few are worn on the bottom from use. The top is about 24" square. The lower shelf is about 16" square and the legs are 29" long. There are no marks indicating a manufacturer. Age, or anything. Feel free to email me with any questions. this is an extremely large antique victorian Royal P&A oil burning table lamp from late 1800's. it is very ornate and has a beautiful solid tapering marble shaft with gorgeous inclusions and veining. there are nice solid brass parts at the top of the shaft which hold the very large globe shaped font housing. it has a nice heavily embossed pattern wrapping the belly and a cut out detail on the bottom. the font is completely made from brass and and sits perfectly recessed in the housing. has a knob to control the wick and a plug to be able to fill the font with flame contents. the burner housing has 4 pegs that hold a nice clear glass flute shade into place. the outer rim can also hold a larger shade if desired. it has a solid very heavy brass and cast iron base with nice floral and scroll cut out detailing. the base is very dimensional. ... moreIt is in great shape and measures 31 3/4 inches tall by 8 inches wide. exquisite high quality lamp. This is a very nice table with lots of very unique features.Tigers Eye cut Oak. I have no Idea what style to call it. It looks to be all original. With no repairs. Broken, or missing parts. All 4 sides have the double Dragon mounts.It is 29 3/8 inch tall x 23 1/2 wide on the ends. The only damage I can see are some water rings on the top. The claws are metal and the balls are wood.It is a little wobbley from age, but is still very sound. I have been piling things up on it since I got it a few weeks ago. Offered today for your consideration! A very important American Victorian mechanical desk/ games table. A very rare find made by the Brushke Furniture Co. In Chicago. A one of a kind survivor this piece is both a parlor or games table the is convertible to a writing desk. The top swings up and the desk portion emerges for the center of the piece as if by magic! Tis is Victorian ingenuity! The piece is carved with faces in the renaissance revival style and is made from beautiful tiger oak. The center desk portion lifts and descends by a gear and cable mechanism. This is one of the most unusual pieces of American Victorian and we are thrilled to offer it! Note the ornately carved legs and figures at the center which hide the desk and mechanisms. It was made in Chicago circa 1860 to 1880. There is a very light stamp bearing the name Brushke ... moreon the inside of the lift up drawer lid that is visible when the desk is open. The piece is very solid and in over all good condition and would be as usable today as it was 150 years ago. There is an age crack at the top of the letter compartment that pops up. It is in a gorgeous diamond shape with lovely embossed decoration and has a beautiful scalloped lip. It is a lovely size. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ONYX IRON DRAGON SERPENTINE CHINOISERIE PLANT STAND TABLE
We are pleased to offer this EXCEPTIONAL. Antique, Victorian era table or stand. This beautiful piece features gilded iron and soft green onyx/marble. The table/stand has ornate, pieced iron bands that encircle the onyx on each tier. These bands have a Neoclassical design with acanthus scrolls and large medallions accented with flowers. The upper tier is larger in circumference than the lower tier but the iron patterns are the same. The table/stand has 4 legs. Each leg features a detailed dragon or serpent head which is protrudes from the legs. Below the head, each leg is incised with a pattern that represents the serpent's scales. This pattern extends downward to the floor. The legs are curved in an exaggerated manner so that they represent the bodies of the serpent. The feet are small and rounded to complete the serpentine effect. The ... moreonyx/marble pieces are thick and extend above the iron that surrounds them. They are quite beautiful as well. They are a soft green color with occasional white and tan veins. This is an elaborate table or stand. It is quite striking and extremely interesting. It is in very good antique condition with only minor signs of age or use. The onyx has some minor chips on the top edges which are"felt" more than seen. These are very difficult to see and do not distract from this gorgeous piece. They do have some chipping to the underneath sides where they fit into the shelves. There is only minor loss of the gilded finish in a few areas. Overall condition is very good. STUNNING! The stand measures 28.5" tall to the iron portion of the top tier and it is 29" tall to the top of the onyx. The top tier is 16" in diameter. The lower tier is 10" in diameter. The legs are 13" wide. The onyx pieces are 9.75" and 4.75" in diameter and both are 3/4" in thickness. Shipping via UPS with insurance included. We will disassemble prior to shipping for protection. It is in good vintage condition with no breaks. Cracks, chips, or repair. They are in solid structural condition. The entire table is solid Cherry wood.The drawer slides in and out with ease and are dovetailed. There is a small finish break spot on the drawer(see pix) it does not go through to the wood. The tops appear to have been professionally refinished with a very good match in color and finish. There is a ink stain inside the drawer from use. It is a very nice and beautiful table. Antique Victorian Parlor Table Plant Game or Gaming Table Damaged For Parts
For sale is a damaged antique parlour table with Queen Anne Legs. Somebody tried to do a quick fix on this and screwed 2 of the legs in instead of fixing it properly with glue which is unfortunate because this could be a beauty of a table. The wood has split from the screws. So I dont know if those 2 legs are salvagable or not, but just the top alone is worth well more then the 20 dollars Im asking for this piece as it does have a very nice inlay on the top. This is a good restoration project and could be made into a very nice antique table with some work. Top does need refinished. Stands 29" tall, 28" wide, and 20" deep. Here is a really neat parlour table for sale. I believe it to be Walnut. Victorian style and although old, I believe it to be a reproduction, mostly likely made in the 1940's or 50's. Top does have some wear from age and use that could use a refinish job although not at all nec. as it is fully useable as is. Nice sturdy table on wheels, stands 29" tall, is 28" wide, and 20" deep.
