It has a lovely design and is in sturdy, stable condition in spite of the fact that the finish is very worn and scratched. I believe that it dates to the late 19th century. The table stands 30" tall is 48" long, and 28" deep. The original hardware is still on the table drawer. This is an absolutely amazing relic from the Victorian era that is a must-have for any antique collection.

The marble is in great shape as well. Thereare 2 very minor super ficial nics on the edge. They can barely be fet to the touch. There shown in the pics and hardly visible. I don't sell suprises. So while they're minor issues, I mention them. I'll estimate this piece around the turn of the 20th century in age. The stand is 30" high. It's 12 1/2" at the widest bend in the legs. It was most likely for a high end pool hall. River boat ... moreor similar and stands just 27” x 18 ½” across the MASSIVE cast white metal classical base with roaring lions’ heads, clawed paw feet, anthemion, scrolls and you name it. The 4” diameter column of reeded solid brass pipe is accented by a considerable disc of natural onyx and all of the fittings are cast and engine turned brass with traces of dore color. The surfaces are all original and have not been polished, so you will note spots of tarnish and verdigris under a protective coat of wax. Likewise the base has worn original gold paint under a dark wax polish that accents the details in the casting. The white metal has a missing anthemion and several structural cracks with late bolt repairs and some baling wire thrown in for good measure. The wrought iron reinforcements appear to be original. It is sturdy and usable and stands just a bit off-kilter. It has NO top and will be shipped disassembled so be sure to save a photo from the auction site for easy re-assembly. Here we have a great antique cast iron base table base that came off from an old WHITE sewing machine. The cross piece can be removed with a flat head screw driver if you wish to use the two legs on a larger table. The legs stand about 28 inches tall. The top is about 13 inches long and the bottome where the casters are is about 16 inches long. When the cross piece is bolted in the table base is about 21 inches wide. The desk boasts solid golden oak fielded panels throughout and features the original oak cup handles to the pedestal. On each side of the tambour. There is a posting slot for mail(this allowed people to post mail into the desk while the tambour was locked) There is an oak modesty board, with two pullout-writing slides above 4 drawers in each pedestal. The interior has 14 internal drawers and 13 internal compartments and with brass finger hooks and knobs. The desk features a locking mechanism when the roll-top is closed. The lock and key are in working order. The two top drawers feature a working lock& key. The internal drawers are constructed of sycamore. The oak has an excellent tight grain with a wax finish. VICTORIAN DRESSER SCARF SETS This pretty little lot is comprised of(2) 3-pc victorian era dresser scarves or table linen sets. I believe both sets are made of cream/beige linen. The first set is a floral motif with fringed edging. The two smaller pieces measure 14" x 4.5" and the center piece measures 13.5" x 8" The second set has a cherub design with the smaller pieces measuring 11.5" x 6" and the center piece measuring 13.5" x 9.5" Both sets have some slight storage stains as can be seen in the pictures(one stain on center floral scarf and two areas on center cherub scarf) Otherwise they are in very good condition! The embroidery needlework has a lovely basket design at each end of the runner. The table runner is further embellished with ribbon work flower petals in a 3D effect and french knots in the flower centers. The table runner is nicely finished off with a metallic trim around the outer edges. Table Runner Measurements: 47" x 16" The black side of the table runner I believe is a polished cotton and the reverse side of the table runner feels like a thin silk. The ribbon work flowers are done in the same material. The embroidery floss has a shine to it and may be silk or rayon. LARGE! Ebonized Walnut Victorian Grand Piano Legs Carved Pool Table Base SCONCES
4 massive. Matching, ornate furniture legs. Authentic circa 1870-1890. I believe they are solid walnut, but not certain. Built to support HEAVY load, probably 800LBS+. In profile, the legs are serpentine. Deep carving shows leafy fruits/nuts. Bottoms have ornate scrolls on an octagon base. If you do not have any obvious re-use for these, they are wonderful as wall mounted sconces. I have seen them hold anything from family photos to sculpture. They each measure 23 1/4 inches tall, 16 inches wide, and about 10 inches deep. They shows lots of age/wear with chipping. A couple have cracks at bottom octagon. However, still quite solid and in good overall condition. Many other salvaged Victorian artifacts listed. All questions encouraged and answered. The frame houses a beautiful antique petit point(under glass) of multicolored roses in a lovely bouquet. It is quite lovely and colorful and exquisitely accomplished. A piece of wood, about an inch long has been lost from above the door hinge, on the top right hand side, and the solid oak back panels have shrunk, and have been carelessly glued back into place- and stand a little proud. I have a dilemma. In that the previous owner applied trim under the base of the cabinet to fit securely into an'ad hoc' stand. This is a more recent piece of oak, with a ply platform shelf, and was once probably a 1950s side table. It looks quite handsome on this'stand' the difference in colour and grain of wood is not too glaring, and could well suit those who want to use it as a collectors cabinet. I have decided to sell it with the'stand' included in the asking price. But if you do not want the'stand' I will deduct £10.00 from anty final agreed price, and you will likely save a substantial amount on postage- especially overseas buyers. Finally. Set of four Victorian cast iron legs. Sculpted in the shape of horse legs. Lovely antique set of table legs measuring approximately 15" tall. Each weighs over 3 lbs and has four notches on top to screw legs onto a table. Bench, ottoman, chair or any number of wonderful creations you can make with these legs. Took many of the photographs with the legs upside down, hopefully to show them off better. Much of the off white paint is missing and there is newsprint stuck to the upper flat side of legs. Where paint is missing it looks as though there may be slight surface rust. But running my hand over one leg, it did not get dirty with rust, so it may just be the metal's natural patina. Conforming table apron, substantial tapered fluted blocked legs with a fine carved curved stretcher on both ends, fluted tapered blocked center legs with the original casters intact on all the legs. This dining table extends to 10 ft inch 1 long and would accommodate many more leaves but only 3 original leaves come with the table. This dining table opens and closes with ease and is solid and tight. The table measures 29 3/4 inches in height. With a skirt height to the floor of 26 inches, and measures 46 inches wide by 51 3/4 inches long without any leaves in place. Being offered for sale is this lovely Victorian Eastlake Solid Walnut Dining Table with 3 Leaves circa 1880. This splendid 19th century dining table features beautiful spoon carvings.Ring turned spindles, layered finials and the original casters intact on all the legs. This dining table extends to 12 ft 3 inches long and would accommodate many more leaves but only the 3 original leaves come with the table. This dining table opens and closes with ease and is solid and tight. The table measures 30 inches in height. With a skirt height to the floor of 26 inches, and measures 46 inches wide by 52 inches long without any leaves in place. This table weighs approximately 100 lbs alone and the additional 3 leaves weigh approximately 15 lbs total. Additional measurements: table with 1 leaf in place 46" X 63 with 2 leaves in place 46" X 74" ... morewith 3 leaves in place 46" X 85" But the table will extend out to 12 ft 3 inches allowing it to accommodate several more leaves if one desires to have additional leaves made for the table. This 19th century dining table is in wonderful antique condition but the top does have a wide scratch on one end which I have shown in the pictures. The three original leaves do have scratches and wear. And the finish on the leaves doesn't appear as nice as on the table, one leaf has some chips on one end on the bottom edge.perhaps the leaves were not stored safely over the years and were not as cared for as the table. Description This table is the finest example I ever saw. It was made around 1840-1860 with a time mahogany tripod base. It is in perfect condition. The mother of pearl table top is quite amazing as you will see from the pictures. There is no damage and the two screws hold the top together with the base and the original bolts are missing. But I fail to see that as a problem. There won't be many tables like this on Ebay and this table would compliment any household room.
